So, FCN happened last weekend, and it was an amazing con. I picked up soooo many books from the Rabbit Valley table in the dealers room, and finally commissioned a con badge and some art of Nico from a few of the great artists in the artists alley (will be posting both soon =3). The events were all great, I nearly died laughing Friday night between "Kage's story hour" and "Who's lion is it anyway". On Saturday the fursuit dance competition had a stacked lineup, and the following rave had some great music and lighting. Oh, and the mad science theme was pretty great too =3. I cannot recommend this con enough, and am already planning for next years.

Yep, it's just a week or so away and I can't wait ^^ Last years FCN was my first fur con and it was awesome.

So, I have just gotten my new standard character model created and rigged and am ready to start using him in new modeling projects. I figure that this would be a great chance to try this out and give someone a full request, as I haven't been doing recently because of some of the time that goes into modeling a whole scene. I am planning on opening up a few commission slots in the coming weeks, and this should be a great way to get back in the swing of bringing your ideas to life. Thanks for all of the submissions for the "your character here" contest. I love having a large pool of characters to choose from and am happy that everyone wanted to see their character modeled. This time around,  MASTERFURRYXs character will be featured in the assassin scene.

In other news, I expect this to be done in a couple of weeks. With an anime con this weekend and a new work schedule it's taking me a bit longer to get my models finished than before, and this one should take a nice chunk of time. After that's been finished I am thinking about opening a contest, right now I am thinking a random draw for a full model request. I'll post more details about this once I decide on them, so keep an eye out if your interested.

I posted in the last journal that I planned on doing two of these, well this is the second. This is a chance for you to submit your character to be chosen for an upcoming model.

Thanks to everyone who entered their characters into the "your character here" contest. I've looked at all the characters and have chosen  Maverick_Fair to fill the spy role in this model. If anyone still wants to be in a project like this then keep an eye out, I am doing another similar project in 1-2 weeks.

I have a couple of ideas for 3D models floating around my head that I would like to make, and I would like to include one of your characters in it. This is going to be the first of a few of these that I will be doing over the next month. I plan to keep this open to character submissions for at least a week.

Hey, just a few days ago a new FA group formed  BlenderFurs for furs who use or are interested in the modeling and animation software Blender. If you're interested then I'd definitely advise giving their page a look. The are just starting up, but they can become a great source for tips, tricks, critique, or just cool 3d renders and animations.

So, I'ts getting to be that time of year again. Around the beginning of Summer for the past two years I have done a large multicharacter image, fitting in as many people as I could as a big thank you to all my watchers and friends. Seriously, you guys have given me so much valuable critique, compliments, and feedback, you're all awesome <3

This year I have been doing a lot of work with 3D modeling, and I want to use this as an opportunity to create several character models in a scifi-esque rave scene. I glossed over the details in a recent journal as a preview, but this one will contain all of the details.

What is it?

It is going to be a futuristic club scene, featuring several characters Raving on the dance floor or the stage, grabbing a drink at the bar, lounging, or maybe just chilling out on the balcony. The club itself is going to be a large glass floored building hovering over a city.

-Lobby: Circular room below the main floor, has two paths up to the main level on the sides.
-Dancefloor: On the main level, circled around the stage, it's on the other side of the room from the lounge and bar.
-Lounge: Relaxation area on the main floor, forms a semicircle around the bar and stage.
-Bar:On the main floor, behind the stage.
-Stage:Center of the main floor, Small Platform elevated above the dance floor. Only ask for a spot on stage if you want character doing some more sexual dance moves. After all, we have to put on a show for our guests ;3 (putting in 1 oc, and one of your characters)
-Balcony: The upper level of the club. It's an open railed area that comes with a great view
(We need a bartender too, If you wants that then you can have it. If not then I have an oc for that)

Ok, so imagine this. You've got a rave going on, inside a club, but the club is actually a giant hover ship above a city. I have to make this happen... I just hope my comp will be able to handle the renders without crashing.
