Welp, today is my birthday! Definitely not one of my favorite days of the year.

But!

I've tried to use my birthday for the last year or so as a time to remind myself to keep pushing myself and improving, mentally, physically and so on!

I have been trying to be more active with drawing and the like. I have more art that I'm hoping to be done with later this month. Plus I've been trying to practice more with things such as faces and other details.

So I'm going to continue to try and improve. Still need to do a lot, but I'm getting there, haha.

Don't usually post about it anymore, but my birthday is on the 7th.. ugh. Will be 34. Not a big fan of holidays or my birthday as I never am able to do anything, with the few IRL friends I know being on the other side of the US. But I figured I might as well post anyway for a quick update, anyway!

I have been drawing and have some new art that's close to being finished. Hoping to have something new uploaded in the next 2-3 weeks.

Would be sooner, but I have a minor surgery coming up. I have to do some sort of pre-op thing this week, though I'm not sure when the actual surgery will be as apparently I also have to be tested for covid-19, which makes sense. Not worried about that as I highly doubt I have it, but still.. fun stuffs.

Feeling rather emotionally drained, not to mention stressed. But I am trying to draw more often. Been practicing more often and trying to work on some of my issues in linework that have been bothering me a lot, haha. x-x I am starting to feel better about some of my art at least. Though sometimes I do wish I had some sort of teacher, y'know? I feel with my mindset I'd learn easier that way, but maybe I just need to find another medium that'll help me learn easier. Also hoping to try and get a commission sometime soon too, haven't gotten a clean picture of Kyou in ages, just need to find an artist as I'm bad with keeping up with artists that take commissions, blarg.

Anyway! I will be practicing when I can and I will be uploading soon once things cool off a bit and I can focus more.

While I've been working on new art, I have been pretty busy lately, but I'm hoping things are going to start calming down over the next year, but we will see.

Also, I might as well say, I live in WA state, about 15 minutes away from the first coronavirus patient in the US, and 15 minutes away in the other direction to where all the recent deaths from the coronavirus (in Kirkland, WA) have been. It's been rather surreal seeing places I go to and have been to a decent amount plastered all over the news lately. Obviously, things have been a little hectic, a lot of stuff is selling out and all that fun stuff. It's not too crazy at the moment, but there are a ton of people just now testing positive for it, and it's obvious that it's spreading quite a bit in my area, not to mention all the people who're infected and haven't been found yet.

I'm not super worried, but it is a bit just.. surreal, and it is definitely kind of scary. I also have a panic disorder which makes things a bit worse, lol. While I'm mostly optimistic, I have no idea how this is going to affect the future and so on.

But to those who're in and near these areas like myself. Wash your hands and use soap. Be alert and don't panic. Don't worry about looking goofy wearing a face mask in public. Keep up to date with the CDC's announcements, and follow their advice!

So, I finally got my new PC built and it's definitely a lot more powerful than my old PC. Though, I'm having issues with my Wacom Cintiq and can't get it working at the moment, not sure why. I've tried multiple fixes but I've yet to find a fix, so while I was hoping to resume drawing and whatnot, I have to figure out what's causing the issues. x-x Plus I've still got some stuff to reinstall and fix, and all that fun stuff.

So yeah, might be a bit for new art until I can figure this out. Hopefully I'll have it fixed soon!

Wanted to post an update since it's been awhile! I'm in the process of updating my FA info and all that fun stuff, and I've got art and stuff that'll be coming soon!

I also found out that the Photoshop I was using, which was incredibly old, was the reason my linework in my recent art looked so.. jagged. I'm currently in the process of playing around with other art programs. Mostly I heard of Clip Studio, though due to being so used to Photoshop, I'm a little worried about switching over to it, haha. Originally I was interested in Photoshop CC, but.. I tried the trial and, due to the fact it runs 6-8 background processes even if Photoshop is closed, on top of the monthly subscription fee, it kind of turned me off of it, lol.

On the bright side, I'm definitely getting used to drawing with this Wacom tablet. While I started art traditionally, I've quickly grown to love drawing digitally over doing it on paper. It's just so much easier, especially when it comes to fixing mistakes!

So yeah, I am working on new art and other stuff, which will be coming probably in the next week! Possibly more, but probably not by much!

Lastly, I did want to mention that I've had a lot of stuff going on over the last few years, hence the reason I disappear for long periods of time. I won't go into details for multiple reasons. Don't want to seem like I'm someone who just wants people's attention for others to feel bad for me. Not to mention, we all go through bad times. It's just life. While I'm still dealing with a bit of stuff, things are getting better bit by bit, and that's good enough for me. ;]

I just wanted to do a quick update. I'll be uploading more art soon, most likely at the end of this month or starting in December. I have a handful of sketches to finish already, and I plan to continue practicing drawing digitally with a tablet.

I haven't posted anything recently as I've been sick and dealing with IRL stuff. I might be getting a slightly new setup towards the end of this month, and I'm trying to find a new drawing program to replace Photoshop CS3.. which I've been using for many many years now, haha. And I think if I can find a better program, that may help my art as well.

Lastly. If I haven't responded to you whether it's a comment/watch/etc, I'll try to soon. I've just not been doing much on FA or any social site while I deal with stuff.

Anyway. I'm excited to see where my art goes over the next few months, and I hope you all will like it!

So, I've been meaning to post an update in ages, but things have been.. hectic. Figured I'd make a post today since it's my birthday. Turned 31, not a fun day as all I've gotten was more bad news.. ugh. I'll reveal what that is below, but yeah.

I did want to say that, I actually FINALLY got a drawing tablet working on my PC. So, I'm hoping to finally be able to draw again. Sadly, it's even harder than I thought to draw on it.. however, I've only tried it for an hour or two so far. I plan on practicing with it and whatnot, and hopefully I'll have something by August. I would have something by July but, because of IRL stuff, I'm not gonna be around for part of June and July. And, depending on how this stuff coming up goes, I might be gone for longer than that.

So, I.. really usually don't like posting personal stuff, as I tend to keep my furry stuff and IRL separate, for the most part at least. But I wanted to at least post what's going on to anyone who hasn't completely forgotten about me, so you all can know why I've been gone and etc etc, haha.

So yeah, there's been a lot of crap going on. I've had medical issues I've been dealing with on and off for years now, and that's kept me from a lot of the stuff I want to do. And sadly, there's been a lot of other.. not so good stuff going on and just.. ugh. I'll be leaving WA state for a few weeks later this month to go visit my mom and dad over in IL/IN as I haven't seen them in like, six years (when I had the money, I couldn't go cause I was working so much, and when I wasn't working so much, I didn't have the money, lol).. and because months ago my mom was diagnosed with pretty serious breast cancer. My mom originally did chemo and it was said to be helping, but now she's stopped and won't even do radiation. I've been told she probably won't last more than a couple months, and even if I'm able to convince her, it doesn't seem like there's much of a chance for her. I still am optimistic, which is the only reason I haven't gone insane, but I don't know what's going to happen at this point. It's especially sad, and frustrating, that this could have been avoided a year or two ago, but my mom just.. I don't know. So basically, depending on how things go on my visit, I may be going back and providing hospice, as they told me I might have to do that, but we'll see. I'll stop there as I don't want to go super deep into the details, but yeah. I will say that.. I know it's something that everyone goes through for the most part, losing your parents and all that. I just hoped it'd similar to how my parent's parents died, when my parents were in their 50s/60s, y'know? At least give me more time and whatnot.

All and all, it's just a shitty situation. My health hasn't been good at all either, but I'm at least not in any immediate danger to my knowledge.

Hopefully, things will go well, and if I'm lucky, you'll finally see new art from me in August or so. If I can get used to the tablet that is.. lol. And if you actually came to read this whole thing and everything, and you're still watching me, I seriously thank you and I really, really appreciate it. Also, I'm not posting this out of depression or anything. While today has sucked as all I got was bad news on my birthday, I'm not really depressed or anything. I really am optimistic about the cancer and my future in drawing (slash) returning to drawing after such a long hiatus.

I also just want to say one last thing, which is I'm not doing this for attention, or to make people feel sorry for me. There is a lot more going on, which I purposely left out and probably will never reveal like this. I just wanted to give some insight to what's been going on and why I've been acting a certain way. The other part was, I guess I just didn't have much of an outlet elsewhere.. and I suppose I just wanted to get stuff written down, y'know? Even though I'm very thankful for anyone who anyone who comes by/reads my journal/comments or whatever, and seriously appreciate it, I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad for me or anything like that. I'm doing fine and I'm optimistic about everything. <3 But anyway!

I turned 30 near the beginning of this month. On top of that, I joined the fandom when I was like, 12-14? Though I don't think I came up with my fursona until 2001. Can't really remember too clearly.. blah.

Just crazy to think I've been in the fandom 16-18 years or so.. lol. Heck, I'm one of the one or two hundred people who first joined FA when it started. That, and Kyoujin my hyena fursona has been around pretty much just as long. I also have/had a mewtwo fursona as well, too.. though he hasn't been drawn in ages. Haha. Also, I started RPing around 1998, beginning with Pokemon-related stuff. Lol. Pokemon eventually led me into the fandom, if I remember correctly.. especially since I was like, obsessed with mewtwo. xD

I dunno.. just feels weird. I'm starting to feel my age, too. I even have some white hairs in my stubble. ;O lol. Oh well.

Either way, I'm still doing music, and I seriously do want to get back into drawing. I hope I can get back into it this year.. especially if I can get this stupid tablet to work.. blah.

I also want to let people know, as someone who's been in the fandom for 14-15 years, I really advise that you always have a unique password for each and every furry website (or any website really).


Due to my past as an administrator for FurAffinity, I'm not going to say too much on the recent events. I will say this, however.

First off, if you find another site much more enjoyable for your own needs, then definitely, you should use that site instead. That's not sarcasm. Really, stick with whatever fits you best! You should always use whatever you enjoy the most and doesn't stress you out or whatever. :]

All websites are vulnerable to such downtime. Furry or not. Sony, Microsoft, small businesses, personal or whatever. It doesn't matter. Because other furry websites are vulnerable as well, it seems a little funny to leave FA instead of just branching out across multiple websites. That way, if one site is down, you'll still have the others to fall back to. If you burn bridges and leave FA to [Furry Site B], then when [Furry Site B] is hacked, then what? Go onto [Furry Site C] and so on? It's just silly. Just branch out and go with the flow, and stick to whatever website you enjoy most.



It's totally understandable to want to be on multiple websites, for sure. But cutting ties with a website completely just seems.. drastic? Eh, I'll leave it at that.

World of Warcraft and whatnot can be found in my description as well.

So, the server I run has changed to Arma 2 DayZ Overpoch Napf. It's PvE only, with hostile AI patrols and missions you can complete. Also, if you've never played Overpoch.. I really recommend it! 300+ new weapons, base building, some new vehicles, NPC trader cities, and more. Even if you've never played the DayZ Mod, I really recommend trying it out.. it's a lot of fun! Also, if you have trouble with the AI, playing during the night is a lot easier.. just turn up your Brightness/Gamma and you can see just fine!

So, I have a Arma 2 DayZ Epoch server for the time being. It's private/password protected, but I'm willing to let people in so long if you follow the rules!

While this is a PvE server, there are hostile AI. They come in multiple ways. 2-4 man groups on foot. They also have ground vehicle AND helicopter patrols. Lastly, there are missions that spawn on the map, which have a lot of loot and a lot of AI. The AI is easiest when it's dark, and if you used suppressed weaponry, or just SD ammunition.

The rules are very simple!

- No killing other players. Make sure when you spawn, you select Yes on Display Name. Since there's hostile AI, you want to make sure you aren't killing/shooting at another player.

- No stealing vehicles / looting player bases / destroying bases / etc. If a vehicle has a lot of gear in it, it's probably occupied. If it's empty and in the middle of a town or the woods, or whatever, chances are it's not taken. There's plenty of vehicles, and you can buy vehicles from any Trader City.

- No being a jerk/griefing.

- No hacks (for the most part). If there's something you need, worse comes to worse I can spawn it for you.. so there's really no need for hacking. HOWEVER, if you talk to me and you've been on the server for awhile, and not caused any issues, I may allow some types of hacks to be used, like ESP.. but nothing that spawns tanks, etc.. haha. Just talk to me. I'd prefer no hacks, but I'm willing to be a little bit flexible since I doubt there will ever be an issue. However, if the server gets more popular, and people want choose no hacks allowed, then I'll not allow it. Honestly, it'll be a case by case thing.

- No giving out the password. If you have friends who want to join, message me first and get my approval (and tell me their names, the ones they will use in game). Don't bring anyone in you know who'll cause trouble, and make sure they know the rules. You can have non-furries, too.. though it's best if you explain the furry stuff to them, haha. Though there's nothing furry in the server name, etc.




If you've never played the game before, this is a really good chance to learn the game since currently there's no population aside from me! Also, don't worry if you accidentally kill someone or whatever. I'll look into any case.. and I'm not just going to ban people outright, unless you break the rules repeatedly or do something that is obviously against the rules (like destroying a base).

Also, I'm willing to do things like make it nighttime/daytime, etc.. just ask! So long as other players are in agreement.


TO JOIN, all you have to do is send me a note saying you understand the rules, AND list the name/name(s) you'll be using in game. I'll send you the password, and that's that!

So, my roommate gave me his old drawing tablet as he didn't need it anymore.

Which means hopefully I'll finally get back into drawing! However, I'm used to doing my art traditionally, not digitally. I'd always draw/ink on paper, then color/touch up the drawing in Photoshop/etc.

So, here's to hoping I get used to it so I can finally get new art out! Last time I tried a tablet 8 years ago it didn't work out well, but.. technology changes, and I think the old tablet I had wasn't that great.. but I can't remember.

Turned 29 today.. can't believe I'm almost 30. Always hate my birthdays for the most part, at least once I got past 22 or so. Bah.. oh well.

I don't want to go too much into this just yet due to reasons, but I've not been around due to health problems. I've not been doing much at all because of these decently serious issues.. which is why I'm not on FA often, as well as why I'm not on AIM or other messengers often either. I may go further into detail soon on my health if it continues to degrade.. but we'll just see. I know some people think I'm ignoring them on messengers or on FA or etc etc. Please note that's not the case.. I'm just rarely on because I constantly feel like crap. It's not been fun at all. x-x I'm hoping that what I'm getting soon will help immensely with most of my health issues, but time will tell. But yeah, I'm not ignoring anyone.. I'm just rarely around because of this crud.

I didn't want to drop off the face of the fandom in the first place.. Now no one really knows me or cares. Haha. Which in most ways I don't mind. However, I do want to draw more, for myself.. and I plan on returning to it as soon as I feel better. I also should have new music out soon.

Might as well mention the fact that, my health issues are keeping me from working.. they're that severe in general. I have no income for the most part. (Real quick, I'm writing this while I'm super tired and out of it due to my KLS, so I apologize for any errors!)

So yeah, I've had some of the worst luck these last few years.. and to add to bad timing, my computer just died (or rather fried, heh). I knew it was going to happen (again).. I just hoped it would wait a bit longer since I have no income or money. Won't have any income until the very end of the year, which is just perfect. --

So yeah! That's where I'm at! ;D I thought I'd also explain a few other things while I'm here. First I'll finish off about my computer. I think it's the motherboard.. but I think the MB and the graphics may have both fried, or maybe the processor. My roommate is in the process if helping me figure out what it needs, but I'm not sure what I'll be able to do.

The good news is that my roommate has a MB I can use and pay back at a later date if I end up keeping it. But, I probably still will need around 50-200 to get it all fixed. Though that's just a guess. My computer is pretty old, but it can run what I need it to run.. I'm not trying to get any new amazing parts for it.. just trying to find parts that'll work in the setup, and that hopefully aren't much difference in performance so I can make sure I can still make music on my machine and etc.

So, for those who don't know, I suffer from a severe case of Kleine Levin Syndrome, a rare sleeping disorder. I also have very severe sleep apnea, which is more common among people.. but, the mixture of these two issues, especially with how severe they are, cause serious issues and could do.. well.. serious damage to me. One specialist is finally getting me in in a few weeks.. and I'm probably gonna be having to be hooked up to an oxygen tank at home, lol. x-x

The reason I bring this up is because I can't hold a regular job. Some nights my KLS won't be horrible, but half the nights I can't be woken up. KLS can cause me to sleep from 12-26 hours.. no joke. And while people joke while that must be nice, it actually is horrible, haha.. When you wake up after that long, you feel horrible for over a day.. with no energy and just.. I dunno how to explain it. It's horrible. One reason I bring this up is also because a lot of people wonder where I disappear off to, some people think I ignore them because I'm never around, but no.. it's just because my KLS constantly is killing my sleep schedule and making me feel horrible. I even have an alarm clock on my computer that was hooked up to speakers my roommate gave me. While sometimes it wakes me up.. sometimes it's so loud, it sounds like it may blow a speaker.. yet I still won't wake up, even when it's going off right next to me.

So yeah, it's horrible. There is no cure.. except I'm supposed to grow out of it eventually. Until then I'm a bit screwed. That's one reason why I've tried doing stuff on Youtube, as I could actually live with my disorder and still work for a living.. but getting to that point requires people to share my stuff around and help out, and it's still a lot of luck.. there's no guarantee. Heck, there's a reason I'm not a temp admin here on FA anymore (though I'm still going to be helping here and there, and I may return to FA again, but only if I have time, since I spend a lot of time trying to do work related crap).

But anyway, I'll go more into details some other time.

If you like my stories or my music, and you want to help out with my computer repair, I'd be willing to do some sort of commission type deal for writing stories and possibly music, with a "pay what you want" type deal. I wouldn't really be able to finish anything right away, but this is just one idea that I had to possibly help myself out. While I do have a donation thing on my userpage, I don't really expect anyone to use that (which is fine haha. If you do it, I'll love you forever.. but I'd gladly do a story or whatever for you if you do want to help! And if you can't help, then hey that's totally understandable, that's how life is. Sadly money doesn't grow on trees, as much as I've tried.. ._. Haha.)

If you you are interested in a story or song (I'm much more comfortable with writing), please talk to me and don't just send me money. For writing, I'm willing to do just about anything except scat. You can find some examples in my gallery, though some of my new stories that were finished recently, just so happen to be on the harddrive that's on my dead computer. >> Mumble.. But yeah, if you're interested, just talk to me! Sadly, I'm not gonna be on much at all since.. y'know.. computer is dead, but I can use my roommates comp every once in awhile.

I'm not expecting any commissions, but I figure hey, I might as well try.. Plus I always thought it'd be fun to write a story for someone else. ^^ But yeah, if I get no help, I won't be mad. I know how money is, and sadly, I know that I'm not exactly known anymore.. ANYWAY!

I have to advertise as much as possible due to.. well.. money issues, so ugh, yeah.. I'm not in a fun situation right now.

I know I've said this plenty of times, but I do hope to have my own art coming out sometime soon. So please don't give up on me just yet! Haha. x-x In the meantime, there'll be music, a little bit of writing as well as a few submissions that were either gifted to me or commissioned by friends for me, etc etc. (So, I apologize in advance if it seems like I'm spamming. Doing my best to keep things slow, haha.) I still have art I've sketched out that's just been laying around.. all I really need to do is dust off the scanner and find my ink pens, then I can start working at it again. I do miss it, it's just been hard to get motivated. x-x

As for music.. I definitely am trying to do something where I have a song done once a month or so, as I'm trying to be more serious when it comes to Youtube. That's why I'm considering doing some gaming as well on my Youtube channel, as it'll help spread out the demographics (and I find it a bit fun, which is why I started streaming on Twitch months ago, haha). While I want to at least finish this one video game remix album, I'm hoping to finally start uploading original music soon to here and Youtube as well. The more my Youtube grows, the sooner I'll probably post something original.. since original music is a bit harder to get hits on when no one knows who you are, lol. x-X


I'm hoping to make 2015 a fruitful year.. trying to push ahead while also trying to fix mistakes I've made over the last few years. But time will tell, I suppose.

I need a design for MWMG's logo, and hopefully an album cover.. but at the moment I'm just trying to get a logo down.

Then I need a Sound Engineer because.. well.. I'm still not very good when it comes to properly using EQ and mixing. I'm hoping someone can properly mix a song or two of mine so I can get a better hang of it (I have a song that's done right now but it needs properly mixed, and I'm wanting to get it mixed before I release it so it sounds better).

I kinda doubt I'll find anyone this way, but I figured I might as well try it just cause.. well, why not? The main problem is, I have no income right now so.. I'm not sure if, or what I could pay. But still, if you're good at either of these things, I might be able to work something out!

So, again.. I don't think I'll be going to RF, despite living 15-20 minutes away..

Biggest reasons being, I don't have any money whatsoever at this time (I've been struggling to find a new job, and I don't make any money otherwise).. but also, I don't have a way to get there. I was hoping to get to meet some people I haven't met before and haven't seen in awhile, but yeah.. :(

If I can show up on Sat or Sun, I'll make another journal post. But I have a feeling I probably won't be there sadly.

Just making a quick update on here.. I'm still in the process of restoring some of my old stuff after my computer died a week and a half ago or so. x-x I still need to reinstall a lot of stuff, too. Because of this, I've not been able to do really anything on here.. nor have I been able to work on music, finishing the last 2 stories in the recent series I uploaded, and so on so forth.

So yeah, if I haven't responded to you on here, AIM/Steam/Skype, etc.. I apologize as I've just been busy and stressed out. x-x Haven't even had time to do any Streams or much of anything else.

Not sure when I'll be able to work on music/art (I'm really hoping to finally finish some art finally in the next month ><), though I'll at least probably be able to upload/finish the Jake/Dimitri stories soon-ish. I just hope I didn't lose Part 3, since it was pretty much done. --
