Yeah... that last journal post is a bit too depressing to just leave on the front page for years until I feel like writing something else, so this totally useless one is going to replace it.

After a two week trip in the city, I was informed today as I was finally about to go home, that Bugsy, my 13 year old german shepherd had died earlier this morning. He was old, obviously, but last I'd heard he was in good shape for his age, so the news was a little bit of a surprise. He apparently went out to lay in the sun, fell asleep, and simply didn't wake up again. While that seems like probably the most peaceful way to go, I'm still upset he's gone, and that I didn't get at least to see him one more time, or say goodbye or anything, especially when I was so close to getting to see him again... Don't think I'll be around for the next few days, and might not be in the mood to talk when I do show up again, so apologies in advance if you try to message me and I don't answer right away.
