Tuesday:
AC started for me on Tuesday as
Frozenfox 
JousterL 
SkyTea came into Columbus to rest and join me and woof for dinner before driving to Pittsburgh on Wednesday. We all went out and got sushi and roman at Yoshi's, and yes that is the name of the restaurant :P Afterward it was off to bed and the AC hype was at maximum!
Wednesday:
We all woke up rather early and hit the road to get into Pittsburgh around noon. About half way through the trip the news started to roll in about the United computer issue. A few of our main FOG group was getting caught up in, and had flights delayed up to 3+ hours. My caravan arrived in Pittsburgh around noon, and got unpacked and settled into our rooms. Then the fun started. Myself, woof,
Sekh765 FrozenFox JousterL Skytea and 
Cygnovum all hit the National Aviary. Joining Sekh on his grand hunt for a Motmot. The layout of the Aviary was amazing. Many of the rooms were fully open and birds flew and walked freely around. I took a ton of pictures https://500px.com/ssulost/sets/aviary
Thursday and Friday:
I'm combining these two days because this was when illness set in for me and the mate. I woke up feeling really nauseous and bloated and continued well into Friday. Picked up
Nynn from the airport and wondered around most of Thursday meeting people. The big event of the night was a massive dinner at Sharp Edge where Sekh765 was able grab us the private loft for the night. Oh man was the dinner amazing. I invited 
SulferDragon to join us in the festivities and it was fun chatting to him for part of the meal. I just wish I had focused more on him in the end. Since after that night the illness really set in, and we didn't get to hang out or suit after that. Still feel shitty about that ;v; Friday just sped by as I was in a sickened haze, and worried about my mate as he never really left the room much. Still found out about amazing place across the street from The Courtyard. The first floor you have meatballs. The second floor has pizza. The Final floors is the beer garden. We decided on the first floor before knowing that layout. So the waiter walks up and shouts, "My name is Darrel and I am a charismatic motherfucker and this is the cathedral of ball jokes..." and that was the start to a wonderful meal. I decided to have the special ball which was half bacon half hamburger mixed with catchup, mustard, onions, Worcestershire, and cheddar cheese. They were amazing, and the best four balls I've ever had in my mouth. Ended the night suiting with my burdbro 
ryujikimura and Sekh765 after a long teary cuddle with the mate.
Saturday:
Okay this was the day I made up for basically missing the last two. I'm feeling back to normal in the morning, but the mate is still not feeling well as time nears the fursuit parade. Which is a real high point for him, and was devastated about possibly missing out. So he pops a full tab of his nausea meds and puts his suit on. I'm so happy that he was able to come because it turned out to be the greatest one Anthrocon has had yet. For the photo and the parade ryujikimura and Skytea got many of the bird suiters together. The parade route actually had us march outside and around street that runs under the DLCC. Police had the road closed around 8am, and over 5000 people turned out to see us! I can't tell you how awesome it was to have all those people cheering as you walked by, and all the kids reach out for high fives. The whole thing made you feel like a celebrity, and showed just how much the city truly cares about Furries. I didn't feel the heat until we reentered DLCC, and I almost wanted fall over. Then FOG members had our traditional dinner at August Henry's for 6$ Long Islands, and had a blast. Which Sekh765 ryujikimura
zennyfox and myself had to rush back to DLCC to help out 
archeus68 in the masquerade as backup dancers! She was going to be playing along to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKbADFJOCkU and our job was to shuffle about and fire rubberbands into the crowd. Just as we were all practicing a simple dance step woof shows up, and he joins in on the fun! I can't tell you how much I wanted to be a part of Anthrocon's masquerade. So I dove head first into the chance, and I believe we ended up being the most entertaining act, or at least that is what the host said during curtain call xD
After that was all said and done I lazed about and got some drinks at Tonic, and shoved a Yiff Me Berry Hard in my mouth. Following this me and the mate head off to hit the rave floor, and get to dance hard to DragonBoy's amazing set! I don't think I've hit a rave harder then I hit that one. We stayed up there until about 130am and then limped home after my ankle decided to give up.
Sunday:
This started with having to take Nynn back to the airport early in the morning. Sad drive. The day was slow up until closing ceremonies which afterward I didn't leave fursuit for some time. Got some a bunch of photos by the professionals that are on suite, and then got some photos with friends by the water fall under DLCC. Take a look at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17098524/ and his page for a ton more. After grabbing more balls for dinner and returned to the Westin to play some card games and drink a ton. After several rounds of One Night Ultimate Werewolf my burdbros and I decided to burd hard once more, but this time ryujikimura and myself swapped suits and proceeded to mess with all of our friends. This produced what we have called ChibiLost and MegaChis http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17098241/ I had so much fun running around as MegaChis. Really sent home that I want to have a non-digigrade body suit so I can really be free to move around. After that I and woof retired to bed.
Monday:
ENDLESS SADNESS!!!!
TL;DR

-Getting sick at a con sucked and lost me two days.
-When you group of friends exceeds 20 people at a con. Don't be worried about fucking off on your own. You won't miss much, and you'll have all the time to hang out with people outside your circle. Still feel bad about missing folks I wanted to hang with ;v;
-Please give preens! Please give Preens!
-Going to be getting a new body suit.

Posted 11 years agoFirst there was news of a new Farscape movie in production. Along with Star Wars. This morning I found out there is a good chance of Babylon 5 reboot coming in 2016. So many scifi gems are going to be coming to the big screen. Babylon 5 has been long overdue for this. Fans of the show will know about the long store about the last time Babylon 5 aimed for a big screen movie. The hype is building!

Anthrocon is around the corner
Posted 11 years agoCan't believe that AC is just a few weeks away. As par the course I'll be attending the con with the mate. I'm so hyped to be suiting again this years, and with a whole year of practice under my belt. I'm going to be strutting around like the smug feather butt I am. Also giving my new ice vest a good try out. So far during the hour long outings I like to do, and the heat is much much more manageable. So expect to see my big ears bounce around.
To anyone that wants to meet up or say hi. You are more then welcome to run up. If I'm in suit please tap me on the shoulder or just jump out in front of me. So if it looks like I'm ignore you. It's likely I'm just blind, deaf, and bird brained.
Expect to see a wave of uploads afterwards. I've been saving money and building up commission ideas. Oh yes, so many ideas.
There is my plans for AC this year. So no meme bull this year.

Posted 11 years agoOh man did I meet so many new people at FWA and hung out with so many of my normal friends as well. I'll try to mention as many as I can, but know the ones that don't make it on to here you were not forgotten!
As it goes Atlanta is going to be the farthermost south I'll be willing to drive. Total of over 10 hours worth of driving from Columbus, but me and the mate Ferinoch broke it up with a stay over in Louisville with JousterL, and cramming him and his suit into our small four door Mazda 3 and blasting off to Atlanta. We arrived in Atlanta just shy of 3pm on Thursday. While we waited to check in to the hotel Jouster was able to take a picture of a cute cat fursuit stretched out on a couch sun bathing. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bay51a37h.....2014.55.13.jpg 
karmaai. From check in line we moved right to the reg line after dropping things off in the room. Word of advice to people that are regging at the door, and the con will allow you to still reg on the site. Do that while you wait. I did and was still able to go through the pre-reg line.
First stop after reg was a restaurant named Fogo De Chao. A Brazilian Steak House where it's 55$ per plate, but the food is to die for. A chief will bring around a skewer of meat, and slice off a section for you. The serving size was small, but it was all you could eat. They had a wide range of meats from beef to lamb. I ventured out there with a group of around 15 furs. Most of them close friends, and the rest fresh faces. The dinner was sooooo good. Looking forward to it again next year. The rest of Thursday was unpacking and socializing.
Friday was when things really started to pick up. First surprise of the day was running into
amaterasu1 at the Starbucks in the hotel. Not hard to pick him out of the crowd with his gryphon head on. Which is the only gryphon head to rival my own! Ended up hanging out with that gryph on and off for the rest of the con. What a beer fiend I could hardly keep up! The rest of the day was a blur of activity. Got some suiting in and took full use of the photo company at the con. I'll be posting those images later. They turned out so well I got on turned into a badge.
That night Sekh765 gather up Ferinoch JousterL 
reverendbrowning, and myself for a quick one off shadow run game. Sekh started the game off with ordering 5 Kamikazes, and surprised us by giving us the drinks to act out a toast in game. Then after about 20 minutes of playing a fursuiter, by the name of 
vignette, and his friend surprised the whole group by showing up a second round of Kamikazes. This time for the whole table of about 9 of us. Completely taking the Sekh and the whole table by surprise. Sekh wrapped up the game by having us hunt down the contact for the run by searching the hotel for him. Found him in the form of 
onightwish. Blazed through the rest of the encounters and headed off to the dance floor. Brandishing my new LED belt that Ferinoch made for me. I lit the place up! Also made a complete fool of myself as I always do.

Saturday was more of the same. Tons of friends. Ton of activity. Big event was the fursuit parade and picture. Got all suited up and headed down. I stayed around my suiter friends from the
kentucky-furs for the parade. Since I have common issue with my long tail and any parade. Furs will step on it. So I like to have a friend behind me that knows to watch out, but this time archeus68 had an idea. She took hold of my tail and proceeded to gnaw on it instead. To my dismay and the crowds delight it worked out well XvX

My last visit of the con was to see
DarkDragon23. I was only able to hang with him for a short time, but it was fun to chit chat and see what a small hotel room looks like with 6-8 fursuits. I don't remember the exact count xD
Sunday was uneventful and as my final day at the con a sad one. This was the first con I actually suffered from some Post Con Depression. I had more fun at this con then I have had a any of my others. I enjoyed the company of many friends that I've only seen this weekend, and spent much time with friends I only see once or twice a year. karmaai. From check in line we moved right to the reg line after dropping things off in the room. Word of advice to people that are regging at the door, and the con will allow you to still reg on the site. Do that while you wait. I did and was still able to go through the pre-reg line. First stop after reg was a restaurant named Fogo De Chao. A Brazilian Steak House where it's 55$ per plate, but the food is to die for. A chief will bring around a skewer of meat, and slice off a section for you. The serving size was small, but it was all you could eat. They had a wide range of meats from beef to lamb. I ventured out there with a group of around 15 furs. Most of them close friends, and the rest fresh faces. The dinner was sooooo good. Looking forward to it again next year. The rest of Thursday was unpacking and socializing.
Friday was when things really started to pick up. First surprise of the day was running into
amaterasu1 at the Starbucks in the hotel. Not hard to pick him out of the crowd with his gryphon head on. Which is the only gryphon head to rival my own! Ended up hanging out with that gryph on and off for the rest of the con. What a beer fiend I could hardly keep up! The rest of the day was a blur of activity. Got some suiting in and took full use of the photo company at the con. I'll be posting those images later. They turned out so well I got on turned into a badge. That night

reverendbrowning, and myself for a quick one off shadow run game. Sekh started the game off with ordering 5 Kamikazes, and surprised us by giving us the drinks to act out a toast in game. Then after about 20 minutes of playing a fursuiter, by the name of 
vignette, and his friend surprised the whole group by showing up a second round of Kamikazes. This time for the whole table of about 9 of us. Completely taking the Sekh and the whole table by surprise. Sekh wrapped up the game by having us hunt down the contact for the run by searching the hotel for him. Found him in the form of 
onightwish. Blazed through the rest of the encounters and headed off to the dance floor. Brandishing my new LED belt that Ferinoch made for me. I lit the place up! Also made a complete fool of myself as I always do. .
Saturday was more of the same. Tons of friends. Ton of activity. Big event was the fursuit parade and picture. Got all suited up and headed down. I stayed around my suiter friends from the
kentucky-furs for the parade. Since I have common issue with my long tail and any parade. Furs will step on it. So I like to have a friend behind me that knows to watch out, but this time archeus68 had an idea. She took hold of my tail and proceeded to gnaw on it instead. My last visit of the con was to see
DarkDragon23. I was only able to hang with him for a short time, but it was fun to chit chat and see what a small hotel room looks like with 6-8 fursuits. I don't remember the exact count xDSunday was uneventful and as my final day at the con a sad one. This was the first con I actually suffered from some Post Con Depression. I had more fun at this con then I have had a any of my others. I enjoyed the company of many friends that I've only seen this weekend, and spent much time with friends I only see once or twice a year. Well Anthrocon is just around the corner, and now I have fursuit outing in Kentucky to look forward to.

Jumped on over there and lone behold they are, and for some weird master/slave thing. So I'm going to be contacting the site owners and see what I can do about this. I'm for once excited for a new monster champ to be coming to League, but an actual dragon. Not something half-ass like Shivana. I just hope Riot can stick close to this design and bring out the dragon champ they have been hyping for years.

This AC was by far the greatest one I've attended. I'm not saying that because it was the first con I had the fursuit out and about for. The dream/nightmare of having my entire ventrillo crew happened this year and went over better then I had hoped for. Mainly 'cause I didn't kill Frozen! Spent the first two days of the con running around in the suit with JousterL and having a ball. Learned tons of things I need to do to improve the characters outward expressions. Then I was dragged kicking and screaming to the rave (spoilers: I wasn't) in full suit. That was so much fucking fun. I don't normally enjoy raves, but this was different and loads of fun. Hot but fun. The rest of the con was a blur of meeting fur and spending money.
It was awesome hanging out with
twilightsaint for the first time. She is so fucking awesome and a blast to roll with. Best time was taking a hoard of dragon to get pizza and then back to the zoo to "acquired" us tables. Shout out to DarkDragon23 for picking up the tab!
Can't wait for next year. Also I took over 30 gigs of pictures so once I trim them down I'll post a link to all of them.
