Long story short I am looking for an apartment to hopefully move out by May-September.

Unfortunately, I don't have a working car and the money I was going to get from selling my broken one is now my dads because he technically "owns it" even though he hasn't touched it in years. This severely limits the range I am looking at because I need to be able to get to and from school still, and the area my school is in is unfortunately very expensive. I can't transfer either because my major is limited to very few schools.

Yesterday i got in an argument with my dad because he came in the house screaming and blaming his problems on everyone else and it ended with him telling me to leave the house. I am pretty confident that I will not actually be kicked out, however I need to escape the emotional abuse I've dealt with my whole life before it kills me.

I am a transgender individual and since I came out over a year ago my relationship with my family has been very bad and abusive. It has always been rocky but things have really gotten ugly. My family refuses to view me as their son and prevents me from accessing trans related healthcare. On top of the abuse, not being able to be the man I know I am has destroyed my mental health and self image. This is becoming a life or death situation. I am severely suicidal and I know if I can not get out by the deadline I have set for myself the abuse and mistreatment will kill me.

I am looking for a second job, but in the mean time I really want to focus on commission work. Commissions are open with all money earned going towards saving for a place to live.

first day of 2019! i hope everyone is having a happy new year!
a lot had changed for me recently so i just wanted to give you guys an update as to how this pertains to me and my art.

so the first thing that happened, which is relatively huge, is that i came out to my parents!
if anyone has seen my profile lately they may have noticed i've been trying out new pronouns and names especially. i've known this for a while, but now that my parents know i don't feel i have to be keeping this big secret!
so hi, my name is wesley and i am a trans man! please use he/him pronouns when referring to me from now on!
just because my parents know doesn't mean they took it well, and i don't know if i'll ever be wesley to them, but i am going to be taking more steps to live comfortable as a guy from now on.

which brings me into my commissions, specifically my commission prices.
you may have noticed the past few months i was rarely drawing. to be honest, i had a really hard school semester and even failed a class, which was really hard for me to deal with considering i walked away from my previous semester with a 4.0 gpa.
i'm hoping my course load will be much kinder to me next semester, so i hope to be able to draw more for you guys!
one thing i have been feeling recently is that my commission prices are too low for the amount of time my art takes me and the level of professionalism i try to put into this. some time soon, i will be changing my prices to reflect this. most prices won't increase by much, but expect to see the highest increase with badges and reference sheets. however, i hope to also provide more commission types! keep an eye out for a new post regarding my new prices and options, but until then commissions will be open with the same prices and options as they are currently.

finally, since art is currently my only source of income, i just wanted to plug my open adopts and link you to my commission website. currently i'm raising money for next semester's books, but i would also like to be able to buy trans supplies (namely binders) as well.
