Hello everyone, it's that time of the year!
Yes I'm gonna talk about the year and what's coming.
I will talk about myself and Art so if one of those interest you, be sure to read :)

First, about me :
I have to say this year went really better than 2017. I got a job for at least 50% of the year which is a first, even if the money wasn't really equals to the period I worked on it but heh! Still positive.

For the ones that don't know I worked on some illustrations for a social app for phones. I made some tiny fantasy houses and the user interface. The app is planned to release in March, so I will keep you updated on that :)

On the other hand, my mental health is fine. Clearly not as bad as last year, but a new form of my anxiety appeared in form of hypocondira and fear of death.
Which sometimes, unfortuantely, denied me to concentrate myself on things I want to do or enjoy.

But no worries, I'm working on that, and already got back to my psychiastrist for this. So it should be all good soon again :)

Now, Art :
I think the year was kind of productive. Maybe not in the fandoms, but in addition with the job I got, I think I maybe never drew that much since a while. Which is clearly positive.

However, I kinda regret I wasn't able to draw more for myself, and also especially finishing some personnal projects and the raffles prizes.
No worry, I will be working on them, and will finish them hopefully soon, as my job is now done!

I need to be able to redrew for myself tho', as it seems I can't make the difference between job and pleasure for now. And it's been really hard to draw for myself while the job was here (see the descriptions of some of my art, it's usually things like "trying to draw relaxed etc)

BUT! Big positive point. I'm beginning to feel like, I'm strating to find my style. I can feel there are some things I do that I really like. It's a little hard to tell what exactly, but I can see the difference between previous years for sure!

For 2019, I really hope to be able to do that, and most importantly, sharing it with all of you, via stream or commissions. I really want to open them again, I kinda miss that and at the same time I'm kinda scared of it too ^^;
I put too much pressure of myself haha.

To finish. I want to thank all of you for supporting me, whatever it's for my art, my health, during difficulties and all of that. I clearly couldn't do it without you and for that I thank you again.

I wish you all a Happy New Year, and see you in 2019 :D

Yes, I'm late, but there is a reason for that... well, if you follow my twitter you would know that I attended to do a little comic to explain what happened to 2017 and what I'm waiting from 2018.
Unfortunately I didn't had the time to finish it in time. :c
Anyway, to be brief, it was a "meh" year and I just hope 2018 will be the year I finally get through all the blocks and fears I still have from my anxiety and panic attacks period.

Hello!

It's been 10 months since I wrote my last journal, which was for the new year... so I think some news are needed!
I'm so bad at keeping in touch on that part haha :D I clearly more active on my twitter (@lackedragon) and still share WIPs there.

ANYWAY!

Last months were pretty busy in a.. mental way.
For those who follow me on twitter, it's not a surprise I am artblocked since months now. Mostly due to the anxiety, depression, and panick attack I developped during this period due to too much pressure about my work, family and other social pressures.

Seeing I couldn't go through that myself, even with will, I decided to see some psychiatrist. It's been 4 months now, and I think it helped. I clearly have less stress on myself, less fear on my panic attacks etc.. Still it's up to me to go through the problems I created myself. It's slow, but surely working.
So if you were wondering why my commissions were closed, why my art is slow to come here and there, now you know why ^^;

Please be patient and I thank you for staying here with me! :D

PS : I will try to make a raffle when we will reach the 500 watchers on DA/FA/Twitter. We already passed that on DA and less than 30 needed on the others :D

Hello everyone!
As you can see, I just finished this wave of commissions. Which means, I'm FREE! Yay! \o/!
I want to thank all my commissionners and their patience since the start of this year and for their support during the obstacles I encountered in my life recently (depression/anxiety etc...). I'm better now, but still needs a job ^^;

Anyway, the end of those commishes means that I will have more time for myself and to work on personnal project and my portfolio.

About the future commissions!

1. There was clearly a problem with the price of the comics. The fact that a full comic page cost less than a full illustration was a mistake. So, I will put those prices a little higher, but it would reflect, better, the work that I put into the comics. I underestimated the work they needed back then. The time I take for a comic for myself is clearly different from one commissionned, and a BIG one (5x to 10x longer);
Which is why the price will change.

2.I'm gonna reduce the slots available for each wave. Certainly cut in half, which means 3 slots for DA/FA, and not on each one like previously. I want to make more waves and make people less wait between those waves. It was really frustrating to me to say no to a lot of people during these last months. I hope this would fix the issue.

3. I'm going to do "varied" slots. Let's be honest, on this wave, I ONLY made comics except for one. Which is a total of 8 comic pages for 1 illustration.
That's why I will certainly not do that again and will ask people to wait the next wave for their comic, if, for example, I have already one comic planned.
The best "varied" work I can have being : Illustration/Sequence/Comic.
In other words, I will not accept a commission wave full of Comics. Illustrations however, aren't concerned.

4. Less Pokémons. I'm certainly making some people sad about that, but, let's be honest, after this wave I've kinda saturated x) I would like to draw other things.
That's why I will give you a big discount if you give me something to draw which is not a Pokémon.

5. New type of commissions. Again, for variety, I will open more commission type like "Sequence" and "Experimental".

Experimental will be cheap commishes to make me train new styles : [Doodle] The first Wednesday

6. More streaming. I think I don't do it enough while it is really a good thing for me in productivity and sharing with my followers.
I also think I will open little commissions there and some raffles, etc..

Comme vous pouvez le voir, je viens de finir la dernière commission de cette vague. Ce qui en soi, sous entends, que je suis enfin libre! Wouhou \o/!
J'aimerais remerciez tous mes commissionneurs qui ont fait preuve du patience à toute épreuve depuis le début de l'année et me soutenant aussi dans mes propres épreuves qu'étaient ma dépression et anxiété. Je vais largement mieux désormais, même si le boulot n'est toujours pas à la clé malheureusement ^^;

Dans tous les cas, la fin de ces commissions signifie que je vais avoir un peu plus de temps pour moi et je vais donc en profiter pour faire quelques projets persos et qui me tiennent à coeur ainsi qu'à refaire mon portfolio en espérant que ce dernier me permettra d'avoir un job cette fois!

Concernant les futures commissions :

1. Il est clair et net qu'i y avait un problème au niveau du prix des BDs. Le fait qu'un page de BD complète coûte moins qu'un illustration complète est une erreur qui sera rectifiée. Attendez donc vous à une montée des prix à ce niveau là du coup, j'en ai peur. Cependant, cela reflétera mieux la quantité travail fournie pour ce genre de boulot. Charge de travail que j'avais sous-estimée à l'époque. Le temps que je prends à faire une BD pour moi-même comparé à une BD commissionée est ENORME! (de 5x à 10x plus de temps). C'est pour cela que les prix vont changer.

2. Je vais réduire le nombre de places disponible à chaque vague. Certainement de moitié, soit 3 places sur DA/FA compris et non 3 places de chaque comme dernièrement. Je veux essayer de proposer moins de places pour pouvoir permettre de faire plus de vagues de commissions et pour ne pas laisser traîner une liste qui ne bouge pas pendant trop longtemps. Ce qui, je l'espère permettra à des personnes qui n'ont pas l'occasion de travailler avec moi, de ne pas attendre des mois avant de pouvoir le faire.

3. Je vais certainement faire des slots dit "variés". Soyons franc, cette dernière vague, je n'ai fait QUE des BDs à l'exception d'une seule commission. Ce qui fait un total de 8 pages de BDs pour UNE illustration.
C'est donc pour cela que prochainement, je vais sûrement restreindre les genres de commissions que j'accepte suivant la dose de travail et si possible, le plus varié possible. La plus haute "variété" de travail étant, sur 3 slots : Illustration/Sequence/BD
En d'autre termes, je n'accepterais plus des vagues de commissions "Full BD". Ceci dit, des vagues "Full illustrations" sont possibles.

4. Moins de Pokémons. Cela va peut être en attrister certains, mais, soyons francs. Après ces commissions, j'ai un peu saturé x) J'aimerai dessiner un petit peu autre chose. C'est pourquoi, à la prochaine vague, j'offrirai une bonne réduction à ceux qui me demanderont autre choses que du Pokémon.

5. Je vais ouvrir de nouveaux type de commissions. Toujours dans le thème de la variété, je vais ouvrir des commissions de type "Séquence" et de type "Expérimentale"
Le premier est tout simplement une suite d'image comme ceci : [Meowstic TFTG] Scratching an ear
Le deuxième sera des commissions à petit prix afin de m’entraîner sur u nouveau style, du genre ça par exemple : [Doodle] The first Wednesday

HELLO!
First, I want to thank you all for the 300 watchers I reached yesterday :D
Funny thing is that.. I actually reached it on DA AND FA at the same time, haha.
I never did a raffle for that kind of thing, but this time, we will do it!

However, before that, just some news about me and what happened recently.
It will be most likely my last health status as it got finally identified, and be reassured, I have nothing.
Well, excepted a small depression. It seems like my up and down in health is only due to my morale etc... as my blood test is good.
It's a little weird for me, as it's the first I "feel" like this, but most importantly, I was scared that I have something serious because I couldn't tell what it was.
I didn't felt sick or sad. I was just feeling bad, really bad.
As you know, it stayed for a long time, nearly 2 monthes, telling myself I was imagining things, before I suddenly burst into tears one evening. Like if the depression was actually hiding for me.
*Sigh* Anyway, I'm kinda happy anyway to know I have nothing. That it is just me. BUt at the same time, I feel guilty for it. Guilty to have been imagining things, making me feel bad, and so, making people wait, especially on commissions. I already told it but I hate to make people wait, even if I know I'm still a "slow" artist, who prefer to take his time to have the perfect drawing more than doing a lot of it. Still I feel guilty.
I just want to thank my commissionners to be patient with me. It was hard, but the fact that they weren't asking me to speed up or things like these, that I sometimes see with my friends's commissioners, really helped me I think. Thank you for that.
I also want to thank the people who were here to support and continue to, when the hardest time was here.

Well, I was wrong! ... I got another sickness and if it wasn't enough I got anxiety problems that literrally denied me to sleep and I was unable to force myself to draw as I was feeling too tired.

I apologize for that again... As I said I don't like to make people wait and I don't want to become one of these artists that take commissions and suddenly get health problems etc, and never finish the commishes. No, I don't want to. So, no worries, I will work on them now that I'm back, and confirmed this time as you may have seen I posted a drawing recently. Felt good to get back to it too... finally...

I really didn't expected my last submission to have so many favs and I'm afraid I can't thank you all individually as usual.
Which is one of the reason I'm making this journal.
I didn't expected this Renamon TF to skyrocket to be my most faved picture on FA and for that, well, thank you again!

I want to apologize for making you wait like that. I hate that! But these past days I was away and, like it wasn't enough, I got sick when I came back.

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween!
I hope everyone is okay and didn't get to much transformed today.
I had a project for Halloween, but one timeagain, I aimed to high and well... it's far from being done, that's sad xD
I will maybe finish later though, who knows. But far from Halloween it may be not be in the theme anymore haha.

Anyway, on the others news,
I finally finished my studies and I'm officialy an 3D Graphic Designer, diploma in hands!
Now... time to find a job o.O
Scary! x)

I will also try to get back to streaming now I have my good PC and connection.

A little journal today to tell you that, we realeased the first video of the BIG MMO project we're working on :

After 6 monthes, Ithink we can call this journal a big update, haha xD
So, first, myschool year is done et I just got my results :
I passed! Gonna go in 3rd year of 3D animation! :D
I have to admit I was really afraid to not pass, thinking I had a year not that good, but, at the end it wasn't that bad, when I saw the marks!
The only bad thing was my Duel : Contre-Sort actually.
So, now, I can have REAL vacations haha xD

After that, about DA/FA and blablabla. I'm gonna finish the two remaining requests after my traineeship.
Then, I think I will no longer open requests in the future, because, let's be clear, I just make people wait, and I don't really progress. Moreover, it takes so much time that I always want to make it later when I will have real time to do them because I don't like to disapoint people with low quality.
Though, I will certainly organize raffles or something like this instead. Also, commission will still be open for sure.

Finally, I will be at JAPAN EXPO, the staurday at Paris for the ones who are nearby. To find me, it's easy, just search for a red Scout from TF2 and his "team" of friends.

Hi hi, and yeah, I'm sorry to only posting that right now.. but at least I'm in time for the Chinese year haha :D

First, I want towish you all a happy year 2014 full of success.
Secondly, I apologise for the requests I haven't done yet. I think Iwill stop to say I will finish them at a specific date because, let's be clear, each time I say that, something else fall on me. Here, it was last minute gifts (drawings) for family and friends, so my time went in there :/
But I'm trying to have done with them! Just trying to find the time to do that... and you know it's kinda hard to find time with 3D studies, well, in my school since we do 3 years but it's supposed to be 7 years if it was at "normal speed".

Also, after I have done with requests, I will certainly change again mycommission price, and this time, for a lot cheaper. Because, let's be honest, I'm not really good at drawing yet lol
