Best Suiting Adventure
Posted 10 years agoSo I ended up in suit very spontaneously today and I am so so glad I did. I can't believe I almost didn't even bring my suit!!
So a ice skating event was planned earlier today and it was kind of a mess but we all just wanted to hang with friends. We ended up going to a park to skate on their rink/river/ice/whatever you want to call it. When we got there, skating wasn't being that exciting. SO, we grabbed our suits and made it an adventure. The weather was fantastic, the park was beautiful, so why not??
First, rebelpup and I went to ask the front desk if it was okay, just to be safe. They were ALL for it, and when we changed and walked back in they came running, literally running, from the back to get pictures. As we made our way back to the park we got swarmed with kids, and it didn't stop!! It was so great to play with so many people. Everyone really enjoyed it and the other people visiting the park really enjoyed us being there.
We walked around, climbed some trees, conquered some rocks, and enjoyed the views from the tops of hills. Some cat may have fallen in the snow, only to be later pelted by her fellow furries >.> but for once I didn't care that I was getting wet and muddy. I was exhausted and having a blast!! The weather really was perfect and seeing everyone laugh and smile just makes you happy.
These are the moments you suit for. This is what suiting is about.
Both Rebel and I agreed we'd totally go back to that park, climb around when it isn't so muddy (not that that really stopped us). Now I'm all refreshed and ready for the work week. Thanks friends for making this day possible!!

I counted all the photos I have...
Posted 10 years agoI've had Lai for just over a year now! Last week was the 1 year anniversary of my first public fursuit outing (the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade!) so I thought, as I update photos, why not count to see how many I amassed this year!
That total came to 371!! (roughly, can you really count on a cat to count??)
I'm sure I'd be at 500 if I had gotten the photos from all the random strangers/furs that have ever taken photos of me that I never see!
Pretty good for one year :D Looking forward to year 2 with many more pictures to come so I hope you'll enjoy it as well!

Posted 11 years agoI don't even know where to begin, but this was my first MFF so it was the beginning of a lot of things.
First off, there were so many people!~ I had such a fun time running around meeting people and catching up with those that I knew! Got to meet some of my besties from FA and all around the place!
How I spent my MFF: Usually I was with wavey. He and I were con buddies and did a lot together. However, I was a part of the Dance Comp Showcase so whenever I had practice I was off doing that and Wavey was doing something else. We had lots of heart to hearts and I think he learned a lot more about me than he was expecting XD I was in suit for the majority of the con. Given that I was usually in bed by the time the dance started my days were kinda short, but I still spent over 25 hours in suit (with or without my head being on). I was sore everyday and super exhausted but it was worth it!!
Who I spent MFF with: As mentioned above, Wavey was my con buddy but I also spent a good amount of time with sikeredwolf (our other roommate), madshy (and all dem croutons!), nagamifumi (fantastic panda derg and crouton partner in crime), most the mnfurs (rose, ringer, auron, piro, nauta, gamble, shiroi, etc.), and a fair amount of the furs from WI (takiumi, keero, ixidorr, hazard, etc).
Dancing at MFF:So I caused some drama cause I'm a stick in the mud when it comes to respect. This made me feel like I didn't deserve to be on stage with the rest of the fantastic performers that were there. All the unworthiness that was this cat. I am going to work extra hard to get even better in the future so I don't have to feel that way again! Working with, and being a part of, the dancer fur community was fantastic! I can't wait until I can do more of this! I did pretty okay for as many people as I was up in front of XD I'm glad I had the support of piroshki and apollus13. We practiced many hours and really had a good time bonding and working and dancing! It was so invigorating! I'm so happy that Apollus placed 3rd! He's such a fantastic guy and his performance was spectacular.
Other thoughts: CHRISTMAS CAPE! CHRISTMAS CAPE! No but really, everyone I met was great and it was so fantastic to meet friends again. I'm so so happy! The Komickrazi photoshoot went over pretty well. It was so cool to meet other Temperance suiters :) Now I don't feel so alone!! XD
I can't say enough thanks to all those that helped make my first MFF a success! There's many more stories and memories I've taken from this but you can only put so much into writing.

Hugs are okay when I'm in suit! :D Snuggles are a no-no.

I try to be polite and kind and patient to everyone I meet, so yes? :D Though I get mean when I'm hyper, which only happens if I'm still being social past my bedtime, so watch out!

No. I am not a party person what so ever.

I signed up to be a part of the group dance opener for the dance comp :) So supposedly I will be but I have yet to hear anything about it so we'll see what happens.

Call out my name. Any pronunciation usually works (thanks a lot friends :P) but it's actually said: lie-luh-dee. You also can say Lai, or Kitty. I can be really oblivious in suit so it may be a challenge to get my attention, haha.
Where will you be most of the time during the day/s?
Wandering around in suit and catching up with friends. I don't think I'll be attending any panels (maybe 1 or 2) so likely just walking around being cute and adorable, or something like that.
What/where will you be eating?
No idea. I know I owe Pocket a dinner so I'm sure I'll be eating out once but I'm sure I'll be getting some sandwich stuff for food to eat in my room because I don't eat a lot and it's a MUCH cheaper option than eating out every day.

Depends on who I'm going with but I'm guessing unless I know you that you won't know about it.

Komickrazi meet up and photoshoot at MFF
Posted 11 years agoSo this will be my first time at a major con, and because of that I'm assuming that I won't be the only komickrazi suiter there. So I wanna meet ya'll! :D I'm so excited!
I will have a photographer for the event so we can photograph the occasion so we just have to gather.
The times I figured would work best are either Friday evening, or Saturday after the parade and large group photoshoot. (Though if we did it then we would break for a little before taking our picture so those who are tired from that can have a quick break.) I've never been to MFF so if anyone knows a better idea they'd like to propose then feel free to comment below. I don't believe there are going to be too many of us so it should be easy to coordinate a different time!

FM staff, you guys did amazing! I can't thank you enough for putting that on.
For my first furry con I couldn't be happier! It was so great to see all my friends this weekend and then run around in suit. I felt like myself again for the first time since I've moved and that's not something I can easily be given.
This is what my weekend looked like:

-Very much a sober half suit lai who managed to convince everyone else that the water had been spiked. (ps, if you missed my late night energy spike, then you missed out XD)

I've come away with some fantastic memories and new friends. (Oh Sir Tengu! who's name I don't actually know! and frank and rvca! and all the toasts!) I miss everyone already and am doing me best to readjust to being back on the lake by my lonesome.

Come do the Interlude Dance at FM

Furry Migration!!
Posted 11 years agoIs only 2 months away! :D I'm so excited! It'll be my first furry con!
I officially got the days off work. I'm driving down Thursday so I'll be there Thursday Night to Sunday :D I'm so excited! I can't wait to see all my friends and go suiting and it's going to be fantastic!
I'm registering and booking my room next week when my paycheck comes through.
HOORAY!
(On a side note, I also got the weekend of MWFF off as well so I'll be there too! ^^)

MNFurs Spring Picnic
Posted 11 years agoWas absolutely fantastic! :) Well done to everyone that organized that :D I had a blast as I know many others did as well.
I've been hunting down pictures to share with you all like the plague but so far I'm coming up fairly dry XD Mostly cause I'm impatient <.< As soon as I get them I will mob my page with all the pictures! (as I have for events in the past :) I'm also still waiting on some more romp pictures so hopefully I'll get those soon as well)
Having said that, if any of you took picnic pictures or have found any let me know :) Even if they aren't of me I love reliving the shenanigans.

Fursuit Romp!

Parade!!
Posted 11 years agoI stole this from my main account so those of you who watch both, you've already seen this
I was in the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade thanks to mnfurs! It was so much fun and I'm really glad I got to go! I was feeling pretty exhausted (emotionally and physically) in the morning so I almost didn't go but I'm really glad I did. :) Despite my nerves from it being my first real outing in Lai I still was able to enjoy myself!
Some Fun Memories:
-sikeredwolf made my paws and tail all fluffy :D :D They were soo poofy and cute and I just wanted to hug myself XD
-We had to teach wharst how to put on a suit XD That was an adventure and a half! He and I were parade buddies, along with nauta, but by the end of the parade I lost track of them XD Just so much stuff and not enough range of vision to see it all, haha!
-The wind was cold while we waiting in line for the parade to start! Even in suit D: However, once we started moving I warmed up so it was totally okay <3
-I got called out by some person on the sideline cause her daughter wanted a picture with me :)
-ALL THE HIGH FIVES!! Though I almost walked into one kid, thankfully auron_the_wolf stopped me :D Thanks friend!
Best Parts:
- That one chick yelling: "Here kitty kitty kitty!" At the end of the parade, haha! Silly human.
-On our way to our shuttle to hitch a ride back to the starting point/changing place, a mom came up with her two little girls. She asked for a hug, which of course I said yes. The little girl ran into my arms all smiles and giggles :D She then hugged the person next to me as her sister (presumably) hugged me too. However, mom said they could only have the couple hugs and that it was time to go. That wasn't good enough for the second little girl. She proceeded to run through our group givings all the furs hugs as her mom is yelling at her to stop and come back XD In the meantime, the first girl got impatient and came to give me another hug. It was such a wonderful experience and made everything all worth it!
Now my suit is clean (YAY no more slushy paws :D :D) and randomly hanging around my room which smells just as fresh as all the fluff.

I was in the St. Paul Winter Carnival Parade thanks to mnfurs! It was so much fun and I'm really glad I got to go! I was feeling pretty exhausted (emotionally and physically) in the morning so I almost didn't go but I'm really glad I did. :) Despite my nerves from it being my first real outing in Lai I still was able to enjoy myself!

Posted 12 years agoNow that I've officially caught my breath after running around the dorm, numerous giggle fits, rolling on the ground, jumping, and telling all my friends.
I figured I ought to tell you too :D
Now just to wait until it arrives ^^
I'm so happy right now! Temperance did an amazing job on it and I can't wait to post pictures to show you all just how true that is!
