QUESTION TO ALL OF MY WATCHERS- 1/19/14

SO! No one is required to answer this question, and I hope I'm not coming off as rude by asking it, but I am in a place where I've just decided to ask others about this, so HERE IT IS:
Are any of you gay/lesbian/trans/bi/etc., and which of you have come out to family members, especially your parents/aunts/uncles/anyone older than you?
In case you didn't know and you care, I am a lesbian and I'm pretty open about it; in fact several of my friends know. However, the only person in my actual family who knows is my cousin.
My parents, of course, are hardcore Christians, and the rest of my family is pretty old-fashioned, so I have not come out to them yet. Even so, my parents seem to really care for me and I don't think they would do anything worse than disown me for a while... But you never know.
I would wait until I'm no longer financially dependent on them, but I'm getting really sick and stressed out with keeping secrets from them, plus it's getting harder and harder to pretend I don't like girls.
What do you people think? At what age did you come out to your parents (if you are LGBT of course), and how did they react? Was it what you expected? Comment below, it would be much appreciated!
And again, I hope I didn't come off as rude or anything like that- I really do just want to hear from you all.

Posted 12 years agoSooooo so so so so so sorry for neglecting you people; my watchers especially, I really do appreciate you guys, and all the feedback I get.
I've been at DeviantArt for the past month, but some incidents occurred and I will probably not post my original work on there anymore.
It's been kind of a rough month; school really brings me down sometimes. Ugh.
Also, I've been pretty sick ever since ten last night, so I'm sorry my thoughts are so unorganized. This wasn;t much of an "update" was it? Gawd I suck at these things.

I've been at DeviantArt for the past month, but some incidents occurred and I will probably not post my original work on there anymore.
It's been kind of a rough month; school really brings me down sometimes. Ugh.

IT'S SNOWING!!! -11/26/13

Which means, since our school district flinches at every little flurry, I will probably get the day off. Probably.
WHICH MEANS MORE ART!!
Hopefully.
If I don't, there's of course the rest of the week for Thanksgiving. But it would be nice.
Sorry I haven't posted more journals... Like I said in the last one, nothing's really happening. I'll try though.
Saturday night I got sent to urgent care for appendicitis, but ended up being allergic to hamburger meat. (WTF??)
And Sunday afternoon we went to Golden Corral as a family, and after the first two hours the kids got bored so they started doing weird things like covering peppers with chocolate and sticking pickles in their ice cream.
So yeah, that's my life right now. IMAGINARY FANS AND FOLLOWERS,
Don't die.

Posted 12 years agoSchool has swamped me with work, I'm hoping to catch up on all my work soon and start posting more artwork on here, and maybe some writing as well.
I'm used to posting more journals and longer journals but other than school, nothing is going on... hm.

School starts next Wednesday, unfortunately, which means I will have less time to work on my furry art and fursuits and all of that.
I guess I should say a bit more about myself. I am female and a young aspiring artist, I am gay, and I love to try new things. I am a huge dork, and I love Adventure Time, anime, reading, drawing.... Yeah. ANYWAY ^^
