Further Confusion 2014~!
Posted 12 years agoSo! I leave in just about 3 days to fly from one coast to the other~ Going out to California from the 15th until the 21st~ My first real vacation in quite some time xD It will be my first fur convention, but from what I hear of the furs that my friend 
IsuzoOfTheDesert hangs out with, it should be a lot of fun X3
During this time, I don't expect to be online very much at all. I'll log in once in a while, but don't expect it to be for long periods of time, or to be able to reply to very much. I'll be out and about getting to know peoples, or drinking with roommates while watching movies~
Never the less, I hope everyone has a good one during this time~!

So, even though it seems that they changed nothing with my characters, I found that they did, actually, change Mogin a little bit. If you look at her original reference posted here on Deviant art, versus the version they posted, here, Mogin's shoe size was increased, her breasts were added as ticklish spots, and there was a mysterious added curse added to her past... What's the curse you ask? Well, according to someone that stepped forward and said "I didn't know at first, but I'm glad you posted that they were an impostor. This is what they said.", the 'curse' that she'd only talk to Ace about, is the fact that her breasts and feet can inflate in size, and become increasingly sensitive...
Now, the wait continues to see what FA can do about this, as anyone that actually knows me, would know from that alone that it wasn't actually me.

So! This morning it was brought to my attention that someone created an account on here, and made it completely in my likeness. At first I was a bit excited and flattered, as someone actually wanted to be me, for whatever reason. Pretty awesome, hua!? As excited as I was, thinking about it more only brought some fear. Why, out of all people, did they want to be me? I can't/don't draw, so they can't be trying to take my talent to try and scam some sales. From what I know, I'm not in any position of power, so it can't be that they're trying to take control of that in any way. They aren't really trying to take ownership of any art, as the things they've posted say they aren't drawn by themselves, and provide a name to who actually drew them ((They only don't link back to the originals, which is the only thing that really annoys me )). They also don't seem to be posting anything obscene or vulgar, so they don't seem to be trying to ruin my 'good name'...
They are, however, only seem to have been posting old art of two characters I've recently retired; Ace and Mogin. They didn't change their names, or edit the pieces in any way. They've only posted them, and copied my entire profile, pasting it on their own.
Now, I'm generally confused as to why, looking at all of this, would someone want to create an account based off of myself, post old art of characters that I've publicly stated are being retired indefinitely, but then don't seem to do anything... well... wrong... Before you ask, yes, I did submit a ticket to FA about the account, as it does scare me a little as to what could be going on. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me, so I'm also a bit confused as to what I'm supposed to do, or what else can be done about it. Any suggestions or incite that anyone wants to share with me about an instance like this?
..... Otherwise, Christmas and New Years went well, hope everyone had a great one and a great year ahead~!

What's been going on in the world of Lance~
Posted 12 years ago... So, last I wrote things were under a bit of chaos... That all finally seemed to pass, and everything worked out nicely. Found my glasses when I got home, phone is still working and charging like usual, and I'm still working every weekday. The first weekend of the month was pretty stressful, as I had to work the weekend, and then found out everything I did had to be undone, as nothing was working server side. That was quite fun, and we're still feeling the 'after shock's from people that are having problems due to being rolled back, or annoyed that the update didn't come out on time. Considering that this is the first time that this has happened in the last 5 years, I think we've been doing pretty well xD;;
But anywho... Besides work, I am still gaming~! Got wrongfully banned from Smite, and Hi-Rez's support is a huge joke, so I now highly recommend against any business with them. But Planetside 2 is a lot of fun that I've moved to, and I've occasionally played World of tanks. New games though, I just got and started playing "Starbound". If you've heard of or played Terraria, this is basically the same thing, but updated and IN SPACE! Need I say more!?! xD
Also, my step mother really surprised me this Hanuka on the 8th night. ((She's Jewish, so with my father being Christan, we do both sets of holidays, though most of the Jewish ones she does alone with her family. So don't ask me questions about that stuff, as I really don't know anything about them xD;;; )) She gave me a Nentendo 3DS o-o;; So sooner than later, I'll have Pokemon X or Y, and will make the obligatory "Friend codes~!" journal once I figure out how this darn thing works.... It's a lot more complex than my Gameboy Advance SP! D8
With that in mind, I did get/have a copy of Pokemon Pearl that I'm doing a Nuzlocke run with. So far, I'm only at the first city, with 5 pokemon all level 6-11... No badges, no nothing... Have yet to face my rival for the first time X//D;; *Is being a coward since pokemon don't come back, and are very limited* .... Updates maybe on this later, if people seem interested.
Besides all of that... That's about it... Hope you all are having a good one, had a happy holidays, and will have a fun time getting ready for this one coming up~! XD

PS: I got the finished ref page for my Lab/dragon OC that still needs a name and clothing... I'll post him up later, asking for advice on what to name him. I think he looks adorable~ X3

Sugar Honey Ice Tea... -Update-
Posted 12 years ago... So... my phone is working again. Either my wall chargers are junk, or my cables are junk... as my wall charger + cable that I keep at work, some how brought life back into my phone.
... I'm just going to claim that they're magical, and not question how two cables, two chargers, and my laptop couldn't do what they did.
... But I guess that's just swapping itself out, as with my phone no longer being broken, the new bad thing is "I couldn't find my glasses this morning". I'm still able to do work, but obviously I can't drive. Hope to find them when I get home tonight, as there's a dinner meet I want to go to, but obviously can't go if I can't drive T__T;
Besides that... nothing... much else to say.

So, this weekend was pretty fun. Got to hang out with an old friend that went to the same school as me when I was younger, and her son. Her son acted up from time to time, but nothing to upset me or anything, so that wasn't the problem. Sadly, at some point during my stay on Saturday, my phone offed itself. It's completely dead... proper dead. No response from charging cables, data cables, pressing any buttons or tapping on the touch screen. I would open it up myself to see if I could fix it, but if it has a warranty, I don't want to void it by doing so.
I'd get the process going asap to get it fixed or replaced, as I did use it a lot both in and out of work, but it's on my mothers family plan... and the best way for me to contact her is through the phone... that is now dead... I've contacted her in other ways, but as I still have to go to work and get other things done, it's been more of phone/skype message tag, as our timing is terrible.
So what does this mean? It means that if you send me emails, I won't be as fast to reply to them, as I can only read/write them when I'm at a PC now. Then if you normally talk to me on Skype, or gmail/google talk, I won't be online until I'm at home. Reason being, I can't install skype on my work computer, and I can't access my google account here, as I need to enter in a code that google texts me... and as I don't have my phone, I can't get the text... and if I tell them I can't do this, they lock the account for 3-5 days while they "recover" my account... Seeing as I can log into it at home, I'm hoping that I'll be able to disable the security feature that does this, but if I can't... then... I'm SOL when trying to use it elsewhere until further notice.
Along with all of that, even though I didn't play them much, that means I also can't access some games that I've also signed up for the security thingy that requires a key to be entered that's generated via my phone. Sooooo woho~! =__=;;
.... Besides the phone dying... not much else to say/report. Life is just going on as per usual xD; Hope everyone else is doing well~![/strike]

TMI Tuesday?
Posted 12 years agoI keep seeing journals about this, but I never really pay attention to them, as I'm one to ask things to someone as the questions pop into my head... But seeing as they seem to be quite popular, I guess not everyone is like that. So... anyone want to ask me something that they haven't in the past? I'll answer pretty much anything, within reason. If I can't answer, or won't answer, I'll let you know why.
.... if it's not obvious, I'm a bit bored xD; I am at work, and will be leaving soon ((as long as no servers crash or something)), but I'll answer everyone's questions as soon as I can~
... Other than that, still saving up money to go to Further Confusion this January, so commissioning has been at a very unfortunate low. I do have a few I still want/need to post... but I'll get around to it... eventually...
Oh! And also, my new OC/alt-fursona is still in production, as I got a new WIP today from the lovely
theowlette~ ... still no name for him though, so I'll be needing help with that once that bridge comes to cross xD;

Just... really haven't been wanting/having anything to post ^__^;; Do hope everyone is doing well though~!
Now, the main reason why I'm posting up this journal is to help get word out that a good friend of mine, IsuzoOfTheDesert, is looking for some business in both art, and some... I guess you'd call them "fur clothing items"?... aka, she's making Tails, hats, ears, and the what not. I've already pestered her for a few myself, and I love how they came out~ Can't wait to get them in the mail, Raziira~!

Reguardless, had an awesome time inviting a few of my old friends over for it, and then also telling a Skype group i'm appart of that's into table top gaming to come over if they wanted. Kinda wished I put my nerf guns somewhere else, but never the less, everyone seemed to have a blast x3 I do hope that we'll be able to table top get togethers once a month, but if it gets much bigger than it was this time around (counted 16 people, and that wasn't everyone that wanted to come)), we're going to have to find a bigger location than the detached garage that I had everyone xD
And sadly, even with me telling people last minute that it was also my birthday, in the hopes no one would have time to get me any gifts... Some people got me gifts xD;; I feel bad for accepting them, but I am very very thankful to those that did. They know who they are =3
Now, I'm watching a movie someone recommended to me as it's along the same type of comidy of "snatch", which I really loved... And I also have a very nice bottle of vodka waiting for me to dig into it a bit more than I already have... So I leave you all to make the buzz I have now into some kind of drunken state... Have fun~!

Posted 12 years agoSo I'm now back home from going down to brony con~ It was quite the adventure. Lots and lots of fun doing anything and everything. Even waiting in lines became fun, as everyone would just break out in song and jokes. Lots of awesome costumes, both pony and pony parodies. Lots of fun events that most of which I seemed to miss as I was at others or trying to get some food/drink into me xD I went with 
abysscrystal, but bumped into 
sheppymomma and 
logarthsheppy pretty much every single day and got to hang out with them. It was a lot of fun as many know already, sheppymomma made a full suit of Princess Luna. Lots of people, young and old, went and talked and hugged and posed with her for photo's. It was just an over all blast, and makes me want to get a suit of Lance even more for events <__<;
But otherwise, bought lots of pony related items for myself, my sister, and abysscrystal. Also took lots and lots of pictures, so hopefully I'll get around to posting them, as well as many an art that I've been neglecting to post x__x; We'll see how that works out.
Well, with that, come tomorrow I'll be back to my "normal" self, as I'll have to get back to work, and thursday I'll be paid and thus I'll probably start commissioning again slowly. So hopefully I'll start getting more arts of Lance, solo or with some of my friends~

Posted 12 years agoSo I'm at Brony Con now~! Damn was the line really really long to get your pre-registration done... Got in line at about 6pm, got my badge at about 9pm... Lots and lots of standing xD;;
But I'm in my hotel room now, lots of fun was had in the line as... well, it's a con and everyone there is there to have a good time~! Talked to a few people randomly, got a few names that I forgot about two minutes afterwards, but all is good... Soon I need to look for food though, as it's been about 10 hours since the last time I had something to eat <__<;; *Is fat for a reason*
And with that out of the way, I mentioned before that I was most likely going to "update" my fursona, Lance, with a new look... I've decided to do otherwise, and just make a new character. Not sure what he'll be named, what colors he'll have, or how much he'll be like "me"... I just really like the ideas that I've been getting and been given, so I want to see how it would look when it's fabricated into something more... physical~ Not sure who I'm going to work with to get it done, or even when it will happen... but it will happen at some point xD

Maybe possible changes? - & Borny con~
Posted 12 years agoSo... as my old journal was old, I figured I'd make a new one finally. Currently, not much going on... just playing Warframe, World of Tanks, Borderlands 2, and.... not much else.
With that out of the way, what are these changes I speak of? Well, thinking of altering Lance a little bit, but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing it... I want him to stay as adorable and huggy as possible, but... I kind of want to give him a few small dragon features. I've just been over thinking some things again about how my fursona reflects me, and noticed that there's really nothing about him that related to my unknown need to collect and hoard things... Like the fact that I've been collecting bottle caps thanks to both the Fallout game series, and a friend of mine doing the same... I've been collecting/hoarding gold dollar coins whenever I can, and I know I'm getting pretty close to having $80+ just sitting on my desk in dolor coins. Then not to mention I have my Lego Bionicle collection, my Pokemon card collection, and I tend to collect anything and everything in MMO videogames.... Yes, dogs will go and bury bones for later and keep doing so, no matter the number... but... I don't really hide this stuff, nor do I ever plan on using it for anything... I just like obtaining it all for no reason in particular. Just thought that was more of a stereotypical dragon trait. Am I over thinking this and going crazy, or is there some grounds to this?
...Well, either way I'm probably over thinking it, so disregard that XD So if I do decide to go with this in the end, which is very likely due to the people I've already asked about it said it sounded like a cool and fun idea, how do I keep Lance looking adorable and huggy, but still look like a dog/dragon hybrid? Any suggestions?
Other than that, believe it or not, I'll be going to bronycon this year xD Leaving Thursday morning to get to my hotel, spending the entire weekend, and then coming back some time on Monday... So anyone else going that wants to meet the Lance puppy or something? 8D

Little update on changes~ 7/31/13@ 00:02
Think I'll be adding/changing the following features on him:
the tail being a bit longer
put little nubs on the end of his tail
give him two little horns on his head
make him a bit more round (aka, put some weight onto him)
give him some scale effect on his muzzle and eyes

With that out of the way, what are these changes I speak of? Well, thinking of altering Lance a little bit, but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing it... I want him to stay as adorable and huggy as possible, but... I kind of want to give him a few small dragon features. I've just been over thinking some things again about how my fursona reflects me, and noticed that there's really nothing about him that related to my unknown need to collect and hoard things... Like the fact that I've been collecting bottle caps thanks to both the Fallout game series, and a friend of mine doing the same... I've been collecting/hoarding gold dollar coins whenever I can, and I know I'm getting pretty close to having $80+ just sitting on my desk in dolor coins. Then not to mention I have my Lego Bionicle collection, my Pokemon card collection, and I tend to collect anything and everything in MMO videogames.... Yes, dogs will go and bury bones for later and keep doing so, no matter the number... but... I don't really hide this stuff, nor do I ever plan on using it for anything... I just like obtaining it all for no reason in particular. Just thought that was more of a stereotypical dragon trait. Am I over thinking this and going crazy, or is there some grounds to this?
...Well, either way I'm probably over thinking it, so disregard that XD So if I do decide to go with this in the end, which is very likely due to the people I've already asked about it said it sounded like a cool and fun idea, how do I keep Lance looking adorable and huggy, but still look like a dog/dragon hybrid? Any suggestions?
Other than that, believe it or not, I'll be going to bronycon this year xD Leaving Thursday morning to get to my hotel, spending the entire weekend, and then coming back some time on Monday... So anyone else going that wants to meet the Lance puppy or something? 8D

put little nubs on the end of his tail
give him two little horns on his head
make him a bit more round (aka, put some weight onto him)

For those that don't know what it is; it's a website where companies or people with ideas for some kind of product or service can post what they have, what goals they still need to reach, and how the donations you give will help them and what you'll get in return for backing them.
There's one I started following recently, and just realized how close they were to actually completing their goal, and how close the drive is to ending... Out of $900,000 usd needed to fund their project, they only need about $75,000 usd more! They're soooo close, but there's only a little over 24 hours remaining in their drive!
So, what is Armikrog? It's going to be a point and click adventure game, made by the same people that made or had a part in: Neverwood, Earthworm Jim, and Monkybones, as well as many other titles. Posted 12 years agoI'll keep it short seeing how everyone else in the area is posting about it too... but for those that don't know, there was a bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon yesterday.
For those that know, or don't know, I work pretty close to Boston, but not actually in it. It's about 25 minutes southeast of me. So, I am safe, don't worry about me. Just keep the three that passed in your thoughts, and hope up that whoever did this, will be given what they truly deserve.

Of course, when I first heard of it, I assumed it was some drawing game that people did over their 3DS's or something... Then I saw a few "fan arts" of the game, and it was of their characters. So I looked into it some more, and found that LINE a messenger service for smart phones, and LINE play is just that but has incorporated an avatar play... thing... xD
It's actually pretty cute... I'm a little puppy like thing, as close as I could get to Lance XD I've prettied up my room a good deal... got him an outfit... annnnnnnd.... now I'm looking for peoples to give hearts to, as well as chat XD

Upon getting this card, I'll also be getting a bundle of codes for various free to play games. One of the games though, is World of Tanks, which I currently play. For it, they actually give me two codes to use, but one of them can only be used on a brand new account. seeing as my account has been around since beta, I can't redeem this one xD;
So, I have a code for 2,500 in game gold (a $10-ish value... if you're wondering) that I can give to anyone of my choosing... The only catch is, they HAVE to make a new account in order to redeem it on that account. Also, as it's kind of important-ish news... Stuff about my life below, copied from my Deviant art journal ^__^;;
So about the new year~!
... So far it's been pretty shitty for me xD;;
Now, I did have a good amount of fun with my friends the day of, and I thank them for it. We watched some awesome TV shows, some movies, had a few drinks, and just had a good time. It really was a great break and a good start to the new year~
Sadly though, it really wasn't to last. Monday was a regular day for me, so nothing really to report there. Then Tuesday happened... At about noon, my dad walked in and asked for a minute of my time. The last two times he did this, my Grandfathers had both passed away. As I somewhat expected, someone else passed away that morning... My grandmother, aka, his step mother. Needless to say, that wasn't a very happy lunch time for me... But what does one expect when the last news you heard about her was that she was living in a home with her beloved dog, Teddy, and then the next is hearing that she's passed away...
Also sadly... it really doesn't end there. Just a half an hour after lunch break ended, a few users reported that some of the networked drives looked funny, and had some very... interesting files in them. Two minutes later, we find out that we were hit with a worm virus. That day didn't end for me until about 6pm, and my boss and I are still working on cleaning it up. Needless to say, not only am I exhausted from running around both buildings, trying to shut down users who we think are infected, but I'm also really not doing to well as I really haven't had time to... well... accept what's happened.
Now, why am I posting this you ask? Because I want attention?... No. It's because what tends to happen to me when a chain of bad events seems to happen one right after another like this is one of two things... I spend lots of money that I don't have on anything and everything, or I withdraw from the internet in general as I hate depressing my friends... I know this will do just that, and I know I haven't been that active as of late, but I wanted to let people know that I was probably going to be less active over the next few weeks due to this, mainly the passing of my grandmother.
So I bid all of you a farewell for now, and I do hope that I will be able to return sooner than later.
... and to those that read this that I have standing commissions with... I'll be checking my mail/notes, so I can still send payments to where they need to be, if needed.
Sorry for this journal, and hope everyone has a good one regardless ^__^

So! Halo 4...

I'm sad to say that I honestly thought it'd be hard, so I played it on easy... well, after getting it home and online at about 1am, playing until about 5am, waking up at 10:30am to get ready for the day, vote, have foods, and go to class, I only got about an hours worth of time to play within all of that... then after class at about 9pm, I picked it up again... Then at 11:19pm according to my phone, the credits started rolling....
... Halo CE, the origional halo game, took me two months to complete on easy... Halo 4... less than a day... I has no life XD;; TT___TT;;;
.... WELP! Time for Legendary!
... and if you're like me and play/follow Halo for the story... it's a good addition and a nice new start for 343 studios. I don't agree with all of the story, or think it was mind blowingly amazing... but it was pretty good none the less.

Well, as most xbox 360 gamers would know, Halo 4 is coming out on the 6th of November. This is currently a little less than 3 weeks away. So my question is, is there anyone in the area that'd want to do some kind of multi-player type thing and go through all of the games? xD
What my plan was that on the 3rd to the 5th I'd be goofing through all of the Halo games in chronological order. Sadly, Halo Wars is only single player, so that I'd probably put on the easiest difficulty and get it over with as fast as possible... After that though, Halo Reach, Halo CE (Or the anniversary edition. Same thing, different visuals), Halo 2, Halo 3 ODST, and Halo 3 (in that order) are all multi-player up to two people on one console, four if you can system link or go online. So I'm not sure if anyone is up for it, but I maybe wanted to try and get a few people together to go through them. The more people that join me, the harder I'd probably put the difficulty on. I'm no expert, but I can do (or did, as I haven't played for quite some time) pretty well on Heroic solo, but legendary solo I tend to have nothing but problems with... With a partner or partners, I'd be willing to give a legendary run through of all of the games a good shot.
So, would anyone be willing to get together and try and do this over the weekend or those days? Than maybe afterwards go to the midnight release at the Gamestop at the Meadowbrook Crossing in Amherst? Think it could be a fun time if we can get a good group together xD

Well, as most xbox 360 gamers would know, Halo 4 is coming out on the 6th of November. This is currently a little less than 3 weeks away. So my question is, is there anyone in the area that'd want to do some kind of multi-player type thing and go through all of the games? xD
What my plan was that on the 3rd to the 5th I'd be goofing through all of the Halo games in chronological order. Sadly, Halo Wars is only single player, so that I'd probably put on the easiest difficulty and get it over with as fast as possible... So remember how I'm becoming an uncle?
Posted 13 years ago... I just found out that the due date is some time in Mid February, and it's going to be a girl~ X3
I'm both very excited about this, and a little... worried, I suppose you'd say. I'm very excited as... well... I've always wanted to be a father, and seeing how that doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon, I'm very happy to settle for Uncle. The reason why I'm worried... Well... My sister was always very high strung, independent, and very, VERY outgoing... So if her daughter is the same, there will be lots and lots of butting of heads... and I'm never to fond of arguments >__<;
So I'm afraid for that, but even so, I'm so very excited that I'll be an Uncle in 2013~ X3
.... And I blame a strong mixture of new Video games (Borderlands 2, Guild wars 2, and the 8.0 update on World of Tanks), depression, collage, and visiting my not so local friends, for my lack of being active on here... Just saying <__<;
