Posted 5 years agoSeriously, it's 2020 and FA still hasn't figured out how to let people change names. I haven't gone by this name in over 5 years, and I'd really prefer not to have to create a third account just to reflect that. Yet another thing making me hesitant to start posting here again.

I still hate this site for its UI, poor upload system, laughable lack of space for tagging with no database of tags, absolute lack of any sort of blacklist for undesirable content, and the fact that it's broken to hell and frequently goes down.
It's just hard to find a place for an actual gallery anymore since pretty much every single one sucks, and Twitter just isn't a gallery.

Posted 8 years agoI'm wanting to get some scene illustrations and a cover page done up for the story I'm writing, but I'm finding it difficult to find an artist that draws Zootopia characters, draws them in the correct style, is quick, and has the style/quality I'm looking for. Basically, I need some suggestions on artists I can throw money at for the project.

Posted 11 years agoJust a final notice that I'm not going to be posting anymore commissions/gifts I receive or any future stories I write on FA. I honestly can't stand this site anymore, and I only use it at this point to see, save, and favorite art by artists that aren't on Inkbunny. If you want to see anything I commission or produce in the future, you'll have to watch me on Inkbunny or maybe Tumblr. I hate and don't use Weasyl at all, and I quit using SoFurry a very long time ago, so IB and Tumblr are your only options from here on out.

Posted 11 years agoI know a lot of people out there are perfectly happy using the hacked version of Easy Paint Tool SAI, but if you ever wanted to get a legitimate program marketed to the English-speaking users, Clip Studio Paint Pro (the digital form of Manga Studio 5) is on sale for the next five days. The normal price is $50, but right now you can get it for just $15.
You can also upgrade it from Pro to EX (which is perfect for those that wish to create comics) for just $87 instead of $219. This is the program I use on my HP TC4400 tablet PC because SAI lags when I stream, but CSP does not. There are also no memory limits that I can tell, as my decade-old TC4400 was able to create a massive 30,000x30,000 pixel canvas (just to see if I could), compared to SAI's measly 3208x3208 limit. They also have a demo version you can download to test it out, you just can't save anything created in the demo version.

Posted 12 years agoOkay, so... It's now JUNE, and because of work turning me into a lifeless zombie, I STILL don't have the schedule set up for Fur Racing... Yay for failure and such. Anyway, I took a look at my list of tracks and... I have too many. Way too many. Like, an actual Cup season is around 36 races, using fewer tracks than that. For authentic NASCAR tracks, I have 23, which means I need 13 or so more to make it one race per track (I want variety). For non-NASCAR and fantasy tracks, I have... 45. I need 36 or so tracks, and I have 68 in total. x_x;;
SO... What I'm thinking I'm going to do is to let YOU GUYS decide some of it. You don't even have to have a driver involved to participate in this, either. Basically, I'm going to list out all the non-sanctioned tracks (yes, all 45 of them) by category, and you pick the ONE from EACH category you'd like to see included. Since I need 13, I'll pick the top FIVE road courses, the top THREE super speedways, the top THREE speedways, and the top TWO short tracks (this is to try to balance out the types used by NASCAR). I may even include more and go beyond the standard 36 count, but we'll have to wait and see.
