Meet new people and see my online friends again as well as those who I have met before. Spend my time and show my boyfriend a good time at his first convention. See Kyell Gold and buy LOTS of books and get them signed by him and Blotch. Get lots of hugs and take lots of pictures of all the wonderful people and suiters :)

Ok, so allow me to explain my situation really quick. My boyfriend is coming to Ohio from Texas for 6 days so we can visit and go to AC together and it is our first time meeting. Anyways I was planning on us driving from Ohio to Pittsburgh since it is only a little over an hour drive. So I asked my brother who lives right down the road from me if he could stay in his unused extra bed room and he simply said "no" and gave no explanation as to why he couldn't stay so i'm assuming he is a homophobic asshole or something.



Then my other friend who said he could stay said that he was allowed but I am not allowed to spend the night with him or anything else. So basically he will be there alone and we are not allowed to do anything. Hello everyone, I would like to pose a question to you regarding an idea I have had. Essentially it is an idea for a panel that could perhaps be part of a convention. The general idea of it is to discuss online relationships. The topic and discussions can range from anything like dating to just normal online friendships. I think it would be a good idea for someone who is experienced in subjects like these to lead the panel and discuss the dos and do not’s of dating and making friends as well as keeping them. I think someone who has had experience in these subjects would be best suited to lead the panel. Perhaps there could even be a Q&A after the general discussion of it. Seeing as a lot of furries start online relationships online and I’m sure quite a few like myself even get to the point of dating. My question to you is do you think this is a good idea for a panel? Would you attend it? And who do you think would be best suited to lead the discussion?

Just watched the Dr. Phill episode on furries. I actually have to say, I think he did a good job with the people he was given. I agree with him that if it is taking up your whole life to the point that you can not support yourself to where you are not working or have an education or are spending your entire time with your life on the obsession you have or the fandom that you are part of then you are taking it to far. In this world you need education or a job to support yourself and live life. There is no problem with being a furry, or acting out like a dog or having to many rabbits, but when it comes to the point that it takes up your entire life then you are clearly doing it wrong. There is nothing wrong with owning a suit or even living with you parents (I do that even) but attempt to get a job and an education. Don't just spend your life in the twilight zone of the obsession or the fandom that you are part of. Live your life people, if that means dressing up in a suit that is fine, but don't do it to the point of where you are going to be 48 and have no job, no love life and no education. That really isnt living There are plenty of people in the fandom that maintain a real life and being a furry at the same time. It can be done. Just my thoughts on the episode

So today kinda was a major fuck up on my part and my bosses part. Allow me to explain...

She had fucked up my work schedule once already, she used my class schedule from last semester for this smesester (note, i work at my university and take classes there) I pointed out to her the date of the old email she had that had stated it was from october of last year 2013. So she said she would make a new one. Well last night she told me it would be sent out that night and that my Friday times didnt change. So I glance at it and take note of my new times with the exception of Friday since she had told me there was no change.

This morning I wake up to a text from her asking where I was. Before in the old time schedule I was scheduled to work from 12pm-7pm. Well she says that im late and that im being written up for a no show and not to come in today since she filled my position with another co-worker. Well I take a look at my old schedule and it reads 12-7 then I take a look at the new one again, which read 9:30am-7pm. And i'm like WTF there was a change and I wasnt informed about it. So now she is telling me if I fuck up and do another no show no call I will be fired.

So i'm thinking of emailing her boss and requesting that he look into the write up and explaining that she told me there was to be no change on Friday when clearly she made one. I still have the excell sheets from the old and new schedule showing the differences in time. I'm scared to do this because I dont want her to treat me poorly while working there. She can kinda be a bitch when she wants to be. So I need some advice on what to do. Some people that I have talked to already are saying to bring it up to her boss or if I do get fired to like sue and apply for unemployment and all that jazz. I really dont know what to do and im scared to confront her in person and have her find out that I confronted her boss about this.
