Good morning, everyone. Hope you’ve all been keeping well.

It’s been a while since my last journal. There’s been some big changes. Made a road trip to Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi (only stopped briefly in Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Louisiana). I always wanted to make a road trip solo and decided since I’m getting older, I’d better do it now. Visit all the family and friends across America while there’s still time. Guys like  stitchfan ,  amyindigo,  jaynitigerpaw ,  katalina . Wish I could have stayed longer. But I got lots of cool photos too upload. I’ll try to get to those soon.

Had a couple of paying acting gigs: cop in a short film and a corporate guy in a training video in Dallas. Here’s hoping and fighting for more.

And I turn 41 today. Between the numerous near death experiences and my natural bumpkin wackiness, I’m surprised that I’m still alive. Thank you all for reading this and following my little page. Wishing and praying all the best for you all.

As for me, well, I turned 38 last week on the 24th. Kind of an uneventful birthday, but it was fine. Just a chill time with the family. I'm too old for Chuck E. Cheese. lol

I'm still working on the feature film I want to make. And acting too. I've done 7 projects so far (6 shorts, 1 commercial) and I'm scheduled for a feature later next month.

Hello, everybody. Just dropping in to say merry Christmas. I hope your holiday was a happy one. Mine was pretty good. Strange not being able to celebrate with all of the family, thanks to covid. And with grandpa no longer being with us. But, with those we could be with, it was nice.



I am going back to my hiatus. I need to. Between my responsibilities at work piling up and my desire to say "yes" so I can make everyone happy, I feel like I'm on the verge of a full blown nervous breakdown. But lately, the PTSD attacks and the occasional flashbacks are getting more frequent. My decades, yes decades, of bottling things and hiding them is catching up with me. My stomach and head can't take it anymore. I wish to God I had treated this when I was younger.

Seriously, if there is some mental strain hampering your life, some past trauma or whatever, don't be afraid to get help. You can't suppress this shit. It will catch up to you. Strange that I use the word suppress when that is something my brain was doing and it took #metoo to bring it out.

As for me, I'm still going to be on hiatus. Life has gotten crazier and more hectic. I'm putting in 50+ hours a week, so I really don't have much time for fun (or sleep), but counseling has got to be paid for. The stress puts me in some dark places, but I'm continuing on. And there's talk of layoffs. Great. So, I'm getting the overtime in while I can. I'm at work 6 days a week. I think I'm there more than I am with my own family.

Hey there, everyone. I think I'm going to be going away for a little while. Just a little break. I got some issues that are taking up a lot of head space and leaving me in some unpleasant places. Money is becoming an issue, overtime at work is great but leaving me drained, other little things here and there, etc.

Here's the deal: I'm in counseling. For what specifically, I'm not ready to say out loud just yet (my counselor says I for sure have all the signs of PTSD and survivor's guilt). But it is for something I can't really keep down any more. That's been a real problem of mine, bottling things up inside.

So, I need a break. Got to put my mind towards doing some long overdue self-care.
