I feel like I do these types of journals more often than anything else but just popping in to say that I do still exist! I still offer commissions, I've just been more quiet about it since taking my full time job in May of last year. I do plan on being more vocal about commission openings and posting stuff this year. That was really the only New Year's Resolution that I set out to actually try to accomplish this year. I want to do more personal art as well.

I have a big batch of new Copic markers and refills coming so I can start doing more marker art again. When I first started doing commissions, I did more marker badges than anything else and I want to try and start offering those again. Not sure if anybody would actually be interested in them but we'll see how it goes. I continue to offer the same stuff I've always had although I do find that my character references tend to be the most popular and those aren't going anywhere.

Hi everyone! I'm still around, well you've probably already figured that out if you've seen that I've been uploading stuff. I have a few other things I still need to put up but that will happen soon. Hi all! It's been a good while since I've made a journal entry here! Sorry about that!

I thought I would do one to let anybody interested know that I have an Etsy store. It isn't under lennymutt but my real name since I started branching out more. Right now I have some art prints and some original Copic artwork. I wouldn't call it a furry store but most of the stuff I do end up putting up there is either animal characters or things furries most likely would be fans of. Right now I still have a ton of TMNT original art that I did for last Inktober on Instagram and I have a few other prints.

I just got some new equipment so there will be some more prints and stickers coming soon and more original art is made and posted on a regular basis.

You may have noticed that I've started posting a little bit more regularly again. With me not working right now due to isolating myself because I'm immune compromised, plus the fact of effective as of Monday I'm being laid off due to the store not having enough hours and I can't come in anyway because of isolating, I have plenty of time to work on artwork stuff. I'll be OK, I'm going to apply for unemployment in the meantime and I'm likely to be rehired by my job once they finally get the all clear to start bringing in workers again since they like me so much there. I was told that I was at the top of their list, for what that's worth.

Anyway, that brings me back to the present. For now I'm intending to pump out as much artwork as I can, including commissions if folks are interested and if they're not I understand that considering the current situation going on, and updated my website and I had to change the contact form so now I should be getting e-mails through it properly again.

I'm posting more artwork stuff on my Twitter account and look for future giveaways there! Hint, there just might be one for when I hit 500 followers ;)

I also opened a brand new TeePublic merch site for t-shirts, mugs, wall art, stickers, buttons, magnets, notebooks, etc. I have two designs currently and I'm planning to update that as much as I can depending on how quick I can come up with ideas and actually draw them out.

My job had been keeping me from really having a lot to post...and keeping me from taking as many commissions as I used to take on which ending up giving me less to have to post even if I had the time. Hi everyone! Sorry for the inactivity that I've been going through lately. It's been partially because I've been working a lot of hours at my job, I've been sick including with a joint swelling issue that's possibly Lupus so ugh more junk for me to deal with, and some depression because of stress and the combination of all the other stuff. I'm finally caught back up on commissions so I should be opening again sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Hello everyone! I apologize about not being as active here as I have been in the past. I DO still check my account at least once a day or every two days but I haven't had a lot to post where I've been super busy with my job at Petsmart and it's kept me from getting as much art done as I normally would have before. I think I'm finally adjusting to the work and being able to work with what free time I'm being given so I hope to start getting my artwork queue back on track. I've already finished a couple of outstanding commissions and I'm working on three more right now.

So for now, please hold off on sending me any new commissions requests. I desperately need to get caught up on these five or so things first. I'll do another post when I'm able to take new requests, I definitely appreciate the requests - You guys have been amazing! :)

If you were around for my last update, you'll know that I got a part time job with Petsmart almost a month ago. If you're waiting on art from me it might take a little bit of time as work has scheduled me for two weeks that aren't very far off from being 40 hours. The main reason this is happening is because another one of the Pet Care Associates at my store quit all of a sudden and didn't put in two weeks notice so the other four of us are scrambling to cover the hours he would have had. As for me, I'm stuck doing a lot of store closing because at least two of the others are in school and can't stay that late most nights. I'm hoping they'll hire another person to fill in the space the guy that quit left so it won't be as tough for all of us.

I'm going to get the things worked on ASAP and I apologize about the delay. I have an off day this coming Wednesday (the 21st) and on Sunday (the 25th) so I'm going to see how much stuff I can get done in those two days so you will all hear from me as soon as I'm able to get to your commission. Once I'm finally caught up and work schedule goes down a bit, I'll open for some more commissions at that time.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates or art posts lately, I started a part time job at Petsmart a few weeks ago because art commissions alone aren't enough to pay my medical expenses and other bills right now. If I didn't have to pay so much for insurance or medications, I could probably pull it off. *insert comment about how badly we need free healthcare for all in this country here*

I'm trying to readjust how I do my art scheduling to compensate plus getting used to the job and the stresses and learning from it itself so it's slowed me down more than I really wanted it to. I'm slowly getting more familiar with the routine so I should be able to start getting on the ball with all the outstanding commissions I already have. Once I get most of those out the door, I'll take on some more since I don't plan on halting artwork commissions.

I want to eventually do enough art stuff, furry commissions plus freelance art stuff outside of furry, to eventually call it a "job" and not need this part time job anymore. It's just not that time for me yet, all of the pieces haven't been able to fall into place for me. I'm just going to try and work on it as hard as I can, when I can, and see where it takes me. Maybe I'll do a comic in the future? Maybe just a bunch of assorted merchandise that's non specifically "furry" but still interesting to the furry community and others that like animals? The problem lately is just not having the time to commit to the commissions plus doing stuff on the side for myself/non-furry things but I'm going to have to work out how to make time for that. Plus a lot of the time it's hard to come up with ideas to draw so I need to work out how to fix that problem too.
