So the world might say I'm 24 today, but there's always that young part of me that's never gonna grow up. Life is more fun that way, don't you think?

You all need to stop and take a deep breath. The sky isn't falling, the world isn't ending, and the LGBT community is not going to be hunted. Remember, the right-wing had full control over the country 10 years ago, and do you know what happened?

The LGBT community first started GAINING marriage rights during Bush's first term. And even when the Republicans had full control over Congress and the Presidency as they do now, more states gave gays the right to marry. and remember, this was still the religious right we've come to know today.

On top of all of that, the states in many cases can make their own laws, even if Trump bans gay marriage and rolls back other gains, nothing says that the states have to go along with it.

Besides, support for gay marriage and LGBT rights in general is at an all-time high. I read an article earlier that I'll post at the end that really helped soothe my own fears over the results.

In the end, we always have each other. If Trump and the Republicans really try to turn back the clock, we aren't going to just lie there and take it.

Okay...so as one of my past journals said, I've spent time in a mental ward for depression. Since then, I've found that one off my major issues is my confidence in myself to live as an adult. No matter what I do, the most mundane and normal things can easily make me feel overwhelmed. Any advice?

Been feeling completely overwhelmed with anxiety and depression for the last few weeks, to the point of quitting my job. My roommate/mommy convinced me to go in, and it's really helped. I'll post more tomorrow when I'm not so tired.

Nervous as all hell about it though, since I've never gone through one before. Does anyone have any advice on what to expect or what to do?

It's not quite Tuesday here yet, but I wanted to put this up while I still had it on my mind. Anyway, ask me anything and I'll answer to the best of my ability :)

So...I just parted relatively amicably with my girlfriend of 6 months. We're still friends, but it still hurts...We realized that we just weren't right for each other, and we'd been arguing so much over the past month. We both knew it already, but neither of us wanted to admit it. She was my first relationship too...sorry, everyone.

So...I used to think I was pretty good at math, as I usually got decent grades in it. After a year off after high school, I started college and either I forgot everything I knew or I just never knew it in the first place, since I'm almost failing my math class :/ It's not even a college-level class and I don't understand anything we're covering. Sorry for the rant, I'm just mad at myself about it -_-
