Sorry for not being able to talk to you all guys, but I didn't want to say anything until I sorted it myself.
I didn't want this to seem like a begging journal.

Late in January, I ended up with a massive problem. The water tank in my attic failed and I found water cascading down my walls. It was lucky I was in as I could switch the water off.

I managed to get it all sorted ok, but I've been having to do a lot of overtime to pay the additional charges, and I still am, so I want to apologise to those of you I haven't managed to talk to lately, as I've been nodding off at my computer far earlier than usual.

Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. I'm missing you all.

Hurray, I've finally managed to get some time off from work.

As quite a few of you know, I work full time on the CSD in a hypermarket (No its not a supermarket for hyper furs.) Its pretty stressful, especially around Christmas, and January cause everyone brings stuff back ¬_¬

Anyway, cause of all the stress, and a lot of previous years problems, January is pretty much my worst month. Especially as it has my birthday in it.

I'm told this a lot. Oh joy. Lets celebrate me being one year closer to being dead. *Rage.*

Look, for those of you who have read this, Let me tell you why I hate my birthdays. Just before my 16th birthday, my mum pretty much lost control of her mental functions. There is no describing the terror and hopelessness at seeing that happen to a member of your close family. I was forced to take over running the bills, managing the house and looking after both my mother and brother. (My father I've seen maybe twice since my 4th birthday, and I'd rather not see him ever again) So every time my birthday gets close, I panic and freak out about it because all it reminds me of is how useless and pathetic I can be.

This year is a big one. I'm going to be thirty (Urgh, I feel so old) on the 24th, so I'm stressing out a lot. I don't mean to take it out on anyone, and I apologise if I do.

Anyway, I'm sorry for venting guys.

My mother decided that she's coming to visit sunday.

No biggie I thought, same old same old.

Till she says that the cat I've been looking after for the past three years as my own is going to live with her from now on.

I can't refuse, it is her cat.

But I'm so freaking pissed right now.

I have no time to get another pet and look after it as it grows up. And I can't just go pick up a rescue animal without being able to provide for it.

So I guess I have no option but to let her take the cat and deal with it.

Wow, long time since I've done a journal. Time for a new one.

I was going to write a happy Christmas journel.

While I still wish you all a good holiday, My elderly cat passed away a few minutes ago.

We rescued him from a garbage tip when he was a kitten around seventeen years ago on my brothers birthday, and he chose another memorable day to leave this world.

I knew it was coming as he'd been getting steadily worse this week, but the fact he made it just into Christmas day has kinda gotten to me.


Anyway, sorry for the self pity guys.

So yeah, a journal.

Noone reads these anyway, So I guess I can talk here. Been feeling pretty crappy lately. The usual, Illness, Broken boiler, leaking radiators, Bills etc. I'm sure everyone has heard it all before.

I just feel like other than a few people I see, I'm avoiding talking to people. At work, I'm always the guy everyone comes to for advice and it happens a lot here, and while I like helping, it gets me down when I have someone pretty much crying when talking to me. I feel rather useless when I can't do anything.

Its not just one person, its a heck of a lot, and it hurts when it feels like all people see me as is just a walking doormat here to serve their needs and fix all their problems. I'm sorry, but I would like to talk to someone as a normal person/fur at least once every now and again. Stop using me.

The problem is If I can't help a friend, then what good am I? In fact, I feel like I'm barely a friend anymore. I let them down when they need me and my response is to avoid them? That's a pretty shitty thing to do.

The worst part of talking to people is the loss of trust I feel when the first thing to come out of their mouth is *omg I want to do XXX to you whilst you *£%$ my $^£%"& *. I didn't become a furry for insta sex. In fact, the very idea appals me, as I had a very bad situation IRL that has put me off.

Anyway, my wall of boring junk is over. I'm gonna go do... something.
