Well, that's twice Regal Cinemas has surprised me. I've gone in both times expecting the foulest, least appetizing, most horrendous monstrosity known to man and in both cases it turned out suitably palatable. The first was their "Pepsi Drips" boba drinks, and this time was Tron Ares.

Was the movie good enough that I think my friends should see it? No.
Am I glad I saw it? Yes in the mildest form.
The aesthetics were on point despite the redness, though I had mostly expected that to be the case.

What surprised me was... every character was compelling? They all had perfect character dynamics?!
This was the first role Jared Leto ever played that I didn't feel repelled from.
It might have helped that he was a computer program and not a human...

The lore building was very satisfactory on a me level.

The critical flaw? The thing keeping it from being ascendant in my pantheon? It was that Daft Punk broke up in 2021 and Nine Inch Nails just.... isn't the same. That could have elevated it to an eight or nine.

Still, it was nice to get out of the house 🙂

What a success! So many stories in 2023. There were more stand alone stories and fewer series entries, meaning a wider variety of species and tf triggers. Hey all! Sorry about how quiet it got. Real life can be rough! But it's spring, and with springing comes time to tidy things. I've caught up on posting Lykos Chapters for everyone to read! I hope you all enjoy the adventures!

They say time moves faster as you get older, and we all know how time flew through the pandemic. It's hard to believe it's December again! But, one shining light during that time is being able to release a year's worth of Patreon transformation stories so everyone has something warm and cozy to read. Each day I'll be releasing a story until I run out. I think one of my favorite things about this birthday/Christmas tradition is how diverse and varied the stories are. So many different species and scenarios. It should be quite a buffet of opportunity.

Looking back at last year's wrap up journal, it's hard not to echo the same sentiments. It's been another year of challenges, surprises, pressures and distractions. Despite all that, though, I'm extremely thankful on many levels for what this community has shared with me and helped me to accomplish. I've just released twenty six stories to the public that wouldn't exist without my amazing patrons on top of the ongoing series and other entries that came out earlier in the year. I've gotten to enjoy them twice, first with my patrons and now here. Seeing people excited as milestones are hit in the Ghostbusters series or when rare species are exposed has been a delight. Thank you all for letting me enjoy the adventures vicariously through your enjoyment.

Efforts to edit "Lykos: Second Skin" are in progress, I know people are eagerly waiting for the paperback version of that book when it comes out. I'm also considering doing an anthology! Just thought I'd share the news.

Clearly most of you know I love Ghostbusters, but I seem to come at it from angles people don't generally expect. I like Ghostbusters II more than the first movie for some reason, and if you're reading my Ghostbusters TF stories, the DNA is much more heavily influenced by Extreme Ghostbusters than it is any of the other source material. Extreme Ghostbusters had transformations, it aged better than RGB for an adult audience, it has a pierced guy with facial hair and colorful clothes... For many reasons it strikes all the right chords.

For a long time, it wasn't available anywhere. About two years ago it went onto Hulu, but not everyone has hulu. Just a few days ago they started putting it onto youtube officially one week at a time. I still recommend Hulu if you can (higher quality video, ad free versions available) but for those that want it for free on youtube, it is there now as well! Here are the links.

I think we can all say this year has been insane... crazy... unpredictable... and downright hard. We've all faced challenges, changes, obstacles and the weight of the world pressing down on us. For all of those reasons, it is a huge relief and extremely gratifying to look at my year's worth of work and to be able to share that with everyone.

These stories only exist because of my amazing patrons, and thanks to their unanimous vote I was able to share them with everyone else to round out 2020. Twenty three unique stories on top of the ongoing series like Lykos and Terramagica (plus a few ones I felt were so special I had to share them early anyway, lol). It's really nice to see them all gathered together, and even more rewarding to see people enjoying them enough to comment on them.

With just about a week left in this year, my work begins for 2021. FA and SF will continue to see updates from my ongoing series as well as special event stories and commissions when I am able to do them. The rest of my work will be shaped and guided and supported by my amazing patrons. With all luck, they'll vote again to share 2021's stories like this next year.

To say that 2020 has been a difficult year would be the understatement of the century, making it even more important to have something to look forward to or enjoy or share. I am delighted and heart warmed that my patrons voted unanimously to share all of the 2020 patreon exclusive stories this year. Hello one and all!

I know I don't post many journals, and I certainly don't plug a lot of things, but I want to make a rare exception. People have enjoyed my stories for many years (to varying degrees, of course) but I haven't been able to share a lot of what inspired me, the creative DNA that made me who I am. Sure, most people have seen Star Trek and Star Wars, but there are more exotic, seldom seen shows that inspired the unique way I approach things.

One of those shows was SeaQuest D.S.V. It ran from 1993-1996 on NBC. It's no masterpiece, there are some moments that are laughably bad and each season feels very different… But the world it created is enchanting and is still with me all these years later. For the first time in all that time, it is finally at a place that can be shared for free, legally.

This world is one that I've loved my entire life, and I really would love to be able to share it with people. I even wrote a sort of secret in universe TF story a while back. Hey all! It's been a while since I've shared a journal, but it's a very special occasion across the Lykos-verse!

There's a lot to dig through, a lot of reading, but many may ask what comes next? Well, as book 2 wrapped up, I consulted my Patreon think tank and formalized many ideas for book 3. I expect the first few chapters to roll out steadily and then a bit of a break after that.

There will also come a time when I edit book 2, get it cleaned up, add on a prologue and some added content to get it published just like book one... but that day is not today. Hey all. I wanted to apologize for my output fluctuating more than usual. I've been having ongoing health issues related to Apnea, but hopefully I'll have that on the mend in the next few weeks. So far I've kept my Patreon output steady, but I haven't had success in doing many commissions or other stories that would wind up on FA or SF. It's been a while since FA has integrated a new feature! In case you didn't read the FA update from the 23rd, FA has now integrated a tipping system into the website itself! You can enable it through the account settings page. This is pretty neat!
