So I retired my fursuit. I enjoyed wearing it but at the same time I hated it. The head wasn't fitted, my actual neck showed whenever I tilted my head, the tails were coming apart, the fur was too long (but I couldn't shave it because the seams would show horribly), and the arm sleeves were made wrong.

I made it all myself, save sewing the hand paws, which Rioichi did for me. So, to help my cosplay fabrication business, I dismantled my 5 tails and used the fur to help a friend make San's cloak from Princess Mononoke.

So this is the first one I have ever done.

A friend of mine said they are thinking of buying my car. Its a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and it's a good car, the only problems are the AC doesn't work (If charged with the coolant stuff it works, but only for a day or two) and the fuel pump went out. They would be buying it for $300 paid $100 each month. With that I could start working on my fabrications... I really hope they decide to do it... I really, really do...

Honestly... I'm feeling like my "friends" are faking it. Like, the don't actually want to be friends with me, but I try hard to make more and keep the ones I have, so they just act like my friend but really don't want to spend time with me or talk to me... Maybe that's why when I notice that I'm no longer friends with someone on Facebook, I ask them about it, I'd rather know you don't want to be my friend than waste my energy on a fake, and they just tell me it was an accident or Facebook removed you and I don't know why...

Sometimes I feel like just giving up on keeping a social life...

I know I keep a strong face and act like it doesn't matter... But it really does... I'm actually quite insecure when it comes to friends...

So I got a lot done on my suit, just need to attach a button to the paws so the arm sleeves stop riding up my arm and revealing my wrists so much.

Ok. So some mishaps happened with my suit... The eyes kept falling out because, like an idiot, I forgot to set them in place. My tails were good, until somehow the stitching came undone near the tip of one tail so the black and white fur were hanging by a few threads (DJ repaired it for me during the meet, that was really nice of him), the arm sleeves kept sliding up and revealing my wrists (Not major, but breaks the illusion so it is important to me), somehow the inside of the head is bigger, or my head shrank, so it was floppy and sliding all over my face, and lastly... I had 3 of my 5 tails attached to some suspenders to help with those 3 being longer than the other 2. Well the suspenders broke... What sucks about that is they are Deadpool suspenders and I got them as a valentines gift... So yeah...

OH! Before the meet and debut, the elastic bands were coming off the tails. I got some help and reinforced it, but not too well. By the end of the meet, almost all of the straps were coming off. I found a better way to do the straps, but I'm gonna wait to fix them until I can find a way to put some wire inside the tails to pose them. Got an idea of stuffing some pantyhose then wrapping wire around then, then wrapping the entire thing with a bit of roll foam then slip the tail on like a sock. Not sure if I'm gonna do that yet or not. Still planning.

My next step is to get some badges, whether I draw them up or buy them, doesn't matter. I know I NEED one that says I'm a kitsune... Or maybe had a short description of a Kitsune on the back of my name badge (working on that).

So I am going to be making my very first fursuit soon... Like I'm gonna start in the next few days. It probably won't come out looking like a professional did it, *cough*Rori*Cough*, but it will have been done by me with some help from my dad. I will be posting pictures of the progress as soon as it starts. I may do it as a job, as well as make cosplay props if I actually get off my ass and start practicing.
