I'm trying my best to keep things updated on all my sites. Last year I really sucked at doing so, so I was catching up. That's the reason for the big dump in submissions here. My Itaku has been updated as well. The only site I haven't uploaded anything on is Newgrounds cause I'm not quite sure how it works with fanmade projects if the creator of the og project isn't on the website itself. We'll see.

I'm also going to be uploading the Carol & Daniel fandubs I've been doing onto Youtube and Newgrounds (hopefully), since they're not pornographic and honestly, I've been very experimental with those and I don't want them to just be stuck on social media sites that not everyone uses. At least with my other fandubs, those can be accessed on E621 for the most part (outside of comic dubs, which aren't allowed on the site cause they're deemed "low efforts"...E6 mods, man -.-)

The final update on this...

Its finally over, we have an apartment! We got the keys this past Friday and we've been busy moving in since then. It was a very tedious process just getting the application to go through for this place but it worked out in the end. I can't overstate how grateful I am to all of you; friends, followers, clients, that have been so supportive and understanding during this difficult time. Its been incredibly difficult juggling jobs, my voicework, the apartment hunting, and moving in. And that's even before also having to take my mental health into account. A lot of the time I was quite or didn't answer dm's, I was at work or exhausted from work. Or just completely checked out. I'm trying my best to remedy that and keep in better contact, now that things are becoming more stable. There's a lot of opportunity in this new place to get back into the swing of things and get my life back on track.

I'm in the process of building a new sound booth as well as getting new equipment. Will be a while but I'll try recording whenever I can with the makeshift techniques I used at the hotel :p you'll definitely hear the difference in quality once the actual setup is complete.

The audio above explains the situation in depth, but tldl, My mom and I have been homeless for the past 4 months. While packing and storing everything went okay, apartment hunting hit a snag when an application turned us down before we had to leave our residence. We had to stay in a hotel until something came through. Nothing has, the job market in this state is terrible, and finances are running dry. We're still tirelessly looking for a place to live. We need help to cover our stay in this hotel as well as keeping our belongings so we don't end up in a shelter and losing everything we have. And of course comms are still open because despite this absolutely shitty situation, I still kept on with doing this because its a job I love and take pride in, and I want to keep doing this for as long as I possibly can. Hello! To those who only follow me here, uploads were stagnant for a while since I only really share my work here once there's a lot of projects finished to release in bulk. Though I may change that just so that this page isn't so empty most of the time. My most updated spaces are my Telegram Channel and Twitter. I started uploading my work to Bluesky as well, which I'm hoping will eventually negate my use for Twitter lol

As for how things have been in general? Honestly veru stressful. Long story short, my mom and I are dealing with a very stressful move and during the process there was a period of time where I couldn't take commissions for a whole month due to the uncertainty of my living situation. Currently its hit a bit of a snag which means I have some extra time to accept commissions again. Not only do I need the work for financial reasons but I also like to keep busy with doing what I enjoy. So if you have a project that needs voiceover or want a personal ASMR commission, I'm your lion for it!

Realizing it's now been a year since I've gotten serious about voice acting. I was practicing for a while prior but didn't think I had what it took to really commit. My good friend BustyPuppy rightly put my ass into gear and encouraged me to go for it. Sometimes you need a friend that will give you a good kick in the ass hehe.

I didn't like my voice, I was very much in my own head. Auditions barely turned up anything and I didn't feel like I was making any progress. Then I decided to work on a project with my first animation dub and the feeling I got from completing that really pushed me forward. The magic of hearing my voice mixed so professionally into an amazing animation like this was mindblowing. You do so many auditions that go nowhere. Your voice practically going into the ether. To finally see results this cool is just..wow.

I love doing this. I love adding a new layer to a piece of art or helping bring a character to life. Giving people pleasure or comfort through my voice. I always wanted to be a storyteller. Used to be a writer. This is my new way of telling stories, through audio. Maybe one day outside of commissions I can write my own scripts and base a project around that. Get animators on board, other VA's. That's a nice goal to have, heh~

I want to thank all of you, friends, creators, supporters who have helped me learn so much and build my confidence so I can keep doing this. I know its been a quiet summer from me but I do have more projects that I'm working on and look forward to showing you all soon.

If you're just starting out with this kind of work and its something you really love to do, just jump in. Do a fandub, make your own script and make an audio of that, collab with likeminded individuals. Just create and do your best. Don't worry about if you're good enough yet to do it. In time, you'll only get better <3

Another year gone by and definitely a big leap from last year. I wasn't even really doing much voice work until August of last year. And now I'm here! Met so many amazing artists doing this line of work and have made wonderful friends <3 Being supported by you all has really meant a lot to me. I'm so happy I've figured out what I want to do with my life at this age. Here's to more years of doing what I love!

To get right into it, E621 is kind of...irksome to upload to. They have very arbitrary, sometimes petty quality standards, to the point where its a guessing game as to whether or not something I post on there is gonna be considered acceptable within their 30 day verification system.

There's also the fact that the site refuses to give voice actors and sound designers, their own artists tags. Many of the arguments from the mods there, are that VA's can be credited in the description and that putting VA's as artists on the site would just confuse and clutter the artist tagging system (never mind the fact that "sound warning" is an artist tag). They also have said that VA's can just be credited in the description of the post.

My counter to that is 1. Not everyone will pay attention to the description and 2. VA's featured in animations, are a part of that piece as a whole and should be considered artists on that piece. It would make it easy for people to find other animations those VA's have worked on, instead of having to looking on another site to find out what other animations they've been in.

It just comes off very rude of that site to not give sound artists proper tags, when even the animators themselves have put VA's names in the artist tag section, thinking that it was already allowed in the first place. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth and its like, why am I even gonna post there if they can't even allow me to credit myself in the right spot. That way ya'll don't have to use my "Set" link just to find my work on E621. Its stupid, to be frank.

So I may or may not keep uploading on E621 at this point. In the meantime, my dubs will still be available through Drive Links, Twitter Posts, Itaku (which has video uploads. Seriously FA, get on that already!), and on my Telegram Channel

But yeah, just a little vent/update. Nothing serious, just annoying.

2022 was a very mixed year for me. I didn't really find my footing into what I wanted to do until August on Twitter and even after that, each month was increasingly trying on my mental health. But throughout it all, I've made so many connections with talented artists, voice actors, and sound engineers and all I can say is, I can't wait to go even harder for my voicework! I'm nervous, but I'm also eager to start the new year knowing that this is what I want to do. What I want to get better at. And I'm gonna keep delivering my best. And the support of you all is always appreciated and I wanna thank you all who have followed me and shared my work, either coming from Twitter or on FA or elsewhere.

I'm gonna go into this new year ready for whatever it throws >:3
