Posted 3 weeks agoI was finally able to attend a con after 2 years of health issues and it was like coming home. I just want to say a Huge thank you to everyone who came and said Hi to us and for all the love and support Star and I received from all of you. I can't tell you just how much we missed you all and to be accepted back after so long. The Con was amazing as always and the staff helpful and awesome. We got to see old friends and meet many new ones and it was an experience we wont forget any time soon.

I just got out of a very unexpected surgery yesterday afternoon and I'm still in a lot of pain. I have one more potential surgery within the next week here and I'm hoping recovery will be quick because the pain is terrible. I don't know when I'll be back at my art desk but please know I will be keeping you guys updated every week and i'll be reading your comments down below. I keep asking the doctors for a release date but even they don't know and my discharge date is still unknown.

Finally out of the Hospital
Posted 2 years agoSo I was finally let out of the hospital and have been home for a couple of weeks now recovering and it has truly been a struggle. Sadly you don't realize how good you have it until it's almost ripped away from you. Recovery is going to be a slow and hard process but I'm taking it day by day and trying to get back into some form of routine. I will be working on commissions again here shortly and want to thank everyone for their patience and to also say sorry for the delay, even though it was out of my hands I still want to voice it. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to message me in your preferred method. Take care and thanks again for all your love and support! You guys mean the world to me!
Still in hospital
Posted 2 years agoSo i'm still stuck in the hospital under observation and I don't know how long I'm gonna be in here for. It's looking like my recovery time is gonna be at least 6 months and that's if everything goes ssmoothly.So lots of Dr's appointments and follow ups to look forward to in the future YaY...(she cries sarcastically). At this time I'm still not able to work in commissions and I truly am sorry for the delay, but I will be working on them once I'm back home. For anyone who has any questions or concerns please feel free to message me.

Life Update
Posted 2 years agoUmmmmm.....so hey guys I'm in the hospital right now. I had to have emergency surgery last night as I had an Acute Pulmonary Embolism. There are still underlying issues which have to be investigated so I don't know how long I'll be in the hospital. So until further notice, commissions will be on hold. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience, however there is not much I can do from a hospital bed. Thank you for your time and hopefully understanding.

Update from the UK

Hope you're all doing well and that life is treating each of you well. As you all know I recently came to the UK to be a support to both my Grandma and My Mum. I'm pleased and relieved to say that my Grandma is doing ok for the most part, she is still grieving but I think being here has helped her a little. Unfortunately that is not the case with my Mum. She is due to have Brain Surgery Today and so I have delayed my flight to return for another 4 weeks. As she is so frail there is no telling how the surgery will affect her and as of yet I am unsure which procedure the Dr's have decided to follow through with. Either procedure is very high risk for my mum and there is just no telling on what the outcome may be and I am TERRIFIED. I hope that you all understand my decision to stay as I feel it is of utmost importance that I be here for something that could not only be life changing but possibly life threatening for someone I love.
In my previous journal I mentioned that I was unable to fully complete any commissions while here due to not being able to bring all my art supplies. I am pleased to say that all things considered, I have been able to make some progress with rough sketches off of my main commission queue. I still have a few to do but once I return I will be able to getting them inked and colored and I will have a good head start.
I appreciate you all taking the time to read this and for your patience and I hope you can forgive the delays in receiving your commission. From the bottom of my heart thank you all and again I am truly sorry for the delay and I hope you can forgive waiting extra for your commissions.
Stay Strong, Stay Safe, be kind to Your loved ones and those you care about and even to those you don't know. Life can be especially cruel and this year is no exception.

I would like to take a moment and Thank each and every one of you for all the love and support you have shown me throughout the years. Whether you have been with me since the beginning or if you have just recently stumbled across my page, I appreciate you taking the time to like and follow my artwork.
I personally don't like to post the comings and goings of the troubles I experience through life as I know that we all have to deal with our own trials and tribulations. Unfortunately, the events taking place currently in my life are so significant that I feel it is important to inform everyone, especially those who have commissioned me, to know what is going on.
So trying not to go into too much detail, my aunt recently passed away due to Cancer and I have not been dealing with her passing well. I recently got laid off from work in a really shitty way and have to deal with that. I then had to pack with Star and move house into our apartment in less than a week before I had to make an emergency trip to England to break the News to my grandma, who lives at home alone , that her daughter has passed away. As well as visiting my mum who's health has declined so rapidly that she is practically wasting away and is basically a shell, due to a tumor and cist that is in her head. I am terrified for her and I am at a loss as to how I can help and my grandma isn't doing well either, ontop of other things currently taking place. I will be in the UK towards the end of August and will return to the States.
I was unable to bring all of my art supplies due to flight restrictions, however I did bring some sketching supplies so that I can at least get rough sketches done while I'm here in the UK. If you have any questions please feel free to message me directly and I will answer whatever I can.
I can only hope that you all understand my situation and forgive me for the delay in your commissions, uploads and shipping. This was something that was unexpected on my part and unfortunately has really effected me mentally.
