With things as they are, I've considered selling my most precious ocs eventually (probably soon)...I just don't use them, and to be honest I'm in the situation where everything else means more to me than my attachment to my ocs.

Trying to juggle my new 5am to 1pm job has proven hard to do because my boyfriend works a 1pm to 9pm.
So either I sleep or I don't haha.
Lately I've been not really getting any rest while I tend to do the hard labor at my job because no one wants to do it.
Without proper rest I've been kind of a mess and there are a lot of people at the house...I can't work or sleep.
We move tomorrow so I'm gonna use that time to just keep to myself a little, currently I'm covering for someone in the 5 to 1 because they are having surgery.
It'll go back to normal after next week and then I can FINALLY get back to rhythm.

I'm going to be posting more adopts after then because it will be used to get groceries. Inflation is high where I am and we have to budget so hard...
I'm sure a few of you can relate.

Anyway, sorry for the pause in progress. I will make up for it. ;-;

Parents gifted me a new tablet (bless my temperamental 8 year old tablet) so I'm excited to try it out
Ready to finish comms and get back to making a little more adopts... That time of year corporate is taking hours from dpts.
I'm losing 10 hrs next week so I'll be pumping out designs, we're very close to moving out on the 31st of march and we really could use the money

An allergen appt has been set up, only my insurance won't cover it so it's gonna be like $600. I honestly want to cry.
It entails if worse comes to worse I'll have to find another job because what is in the place I'm in might be affecting me and giving me fever and hives, based on a gluten suspicion of mine and I work literally in the bakery with people in deli.
I don't know how to feel right now after just replacing a part of my car that was literally 1k worth and moving into the new apt on the 31st of march. So all that I saved up is gonna be gone now and hopefully not screw me over with my job which has already been up my ass about not being able to work some days because the hives were causing me to overheat. I'm scared and annoyed at the same time. And it doesn't help a customer at work literally didn't want my help because she was like "You shouldn't be serving customers when you look like you have a disease." Literally what the fuck. So I have thurs and fri I plan on finishing ychs and comms with and maybe if I'm lucky I can slap an adopt here and there, all I know is I'm seriously panicking and want this allergy bs to be done with so I know how to avoid it. It's been hard to sleep the last two weeks, the flareups hurt so much they keep me up or wake me during the night. We've done everything we can to help, but it's definitely a food allergy after I reacted woth my lips swelling and asthma issues one night, not to mention heart palpitations for 3 hours in which I debated calling 911 but I don't have that kind of money.
Not sure what to do, just venting rn I guess.

Anyone out there like to rp? Currently in my spare time I'm doing art/comms, but in between that I would like to start rping again.
What kinds of rp I'm into: Medieval, RPG, Cyberpunk
I prefer there to be an involved plot, and if possible along the way I am 100% okay with relationships/mutual friendships!
I'm a big romantic at heart (ofc I'm fine with nsfw ((or a perverted sense of humor/character)) or eventually to that point in the timeline), but I do love a good story. Nothing quite beats the imagination. It really helps motivate me to draw, too!

I typically roleplay very blunty (I'm not a stranger to horror or anything more harsh in the world, because I like to have somewhat of relatability to real life experiences or situations, so if you're squeamish or you are sensitive, I would rather save you from heartbreak/scary situations because I care about your well being). I will also ask beforehand what you are okay with/not okay with of course! (e.g. if you don't like the idea of a hardcore rp that might include starvation or the possibility of characters getting hurt, I would want to know!) Roleplay is all about enjoying the moment. No need to do things people will find traumatic. (I however, am pretty open to most things, bittersweet moments I'm a sucker for, but also I realize things in life aren't always a fortunate experience and can be quite gruesome.)

I currently roleplay as female(mostly) and male characters(sometimes, but I'm still fleshing out my newer ones), I like to have multiple in rps, but not too many, but I like to connect backgrounds with them.
The species I currently rp with: Humanoids/Anthros.
If I ever have ferals, typically they have humanoid forms, as I prefer to play as those, along with my anthros, some have human forms as well.
If we connect, I would love to show you the characters I have available for the rps!

So for now my shifts are taking my night time away at work, I'm not a really big morning person, so I only have a few hours from when I wake up to the time I need to leave.
I'll be off Saturday and Sunday, so things will pop up more with progress then (i.e. customs), and a few more adopts will be coming out as well.

So I've not been as active as I was the last few years, however the rules of courtesy still apply just like it would for anyone else.

When it comes to designs made by me, there is a certain period in which payment is due; however if communicated to me you need more time, this is no problem. I would rather know than be given a run around in hopes that the money will be there.

This is, understandably also partially my responsibility. If payment is not received in a certain amount of time, I should then in the meanwhile make more designs. But the point still stands that I do think it's somewhat a necessary "evil" to have a blacklist to go by.

This is also a way other artists can reference and beware of things that they may encounter themselves and if they want to deal with it or not.

For now, my blacklist will return and hold the names of the users who not only didn't pay, but chose not to communicate for a period of time.

I will admit I'm not perfect myself, as is no one else and in my experience as both a customer and a commission artist, I have also made mistakes.

Typically I give people more than one chance and a one time warning- but if the situation proves otherwise, then that may change.


Commissions like customs and regular works do not fall under this category because I do not work without payment first. Communication is still appreciated though, because I want to deliver a result you are happy with. : )
