Liger Watch. May the Fouth Be with You.
Posted 10 years agoToday is a wonderful day in which we all gather to celebrate something we all love. The Fact that Han Shot First and that JarJar was the cause of all evil in the galaxy for the next two decades! XD The Gungan people are still recovering from that idiot representative and I for one wish them luck. Today let us all remember the many, many, MANY, Jedi who died during and after the Clone Wars for the people. So we take this day to reflect upon the force and if you see one of those new Jedi going about their business buy them a drink and let them know the galaxy appreciates what their doing and that they should totally continue to allow the romance thing to happen with their members. Because not allowing that is what helped fuck things over the last time.
So I say again boys and girls. Cubs of all ages. May the Fourth Be with you. ^^

Liger Watch. Avengers and Siteadvisor
Posted 10 years agoAlrighty I thought I'd make a new journal both to sum up my feelings on the Avengers Age of Ultron in a spoiler free manner and just to remind people about the issue with McAfee's Siteadvisor.
First the Avengers.
OMG! This was awesome! I mean wow! Marvel continues to deliver. We get neat pieces of character development all around here, some comedy, and a good deal of thought provoking stuff and plenty of nods here and there to other Marvel stuff. Ultron himself was pretty damn awesome as a character and as a villain. He's got a bit of interesting depth to him and avoids the bad guy cliches well enough. All and all it's a good movie that you should see if you've liked Marvel stuff thus far.
Second SiteAdvisor.
Yeah there still seems to be an issue with McAfee's site advisor flagging individual FA art pages as dangerous. The staff already knows and are working on things but being the weekend hearing back from McAfee is taking a while. From what everyone can tell it's a false positive. McAfee's SiteAdvisor works off of a data base that periodically scans sites I guess and takes advice from it's users. So if you guys wanna help these pages get the green rating again and perhaps speed McAfee's response just go to https://www.siteadvisor.com/analysis/ and scroll down to the search box and put in a submission page's link. Right now any submission will come up flagged as Dangerous. When the report says that just click Request a Review and fill out the lil thing there. No email or such is needed. ^^ Hopefully with enough review request it'll speed up their response time to FA.

Liger Watch. FA and McAfee SiteAdvisor.
Posted 10 years agoOk just thought I'd post this as the issue cropped up a lil while ago. Anyone else notice that individual submission pages on FA are being flagged as dangerous by McAfee SiteAdvisor? The rest of the site is coming up green but stuff like art in anybody's gallery isn't. Someone should probably bring this to the attention of FA staff.
Liger Watch. RIP Leonard Nimoy. *sniffles*
Posted 10 years agoTo a great man who brought joy to so many and made us take a moment to think about things we might not have in ways we might not have. To a man who stood helped sculpt science fiction as it is today in front of the camera and behind it. To a man who lent his voice to many other characters. To Lenard Nimoy. You lived long though not long enough for some. And you most certainly prospered. We'll miss you. Rest in Peace while your image and voice Trek the stars.
Liger Watch. Legend of Korra. Zaheer.
Posted 11 years agoWell I'm just about all caught up with Legend of Korra now and having seen Zaheer's actions in Book 3 Change I just can't help but make a vent journal cuz damn. So I'm gonna just lay out how I feel abut Zaheer and his girlfriend a bit. Ok I'll start off with her.
I know this is a kid's show and you can't show gore but god damn! That was not satisfying at all. Explosion Bitch felt like a cheat the hole frickin time and when she finally dies we don't even get to HEAR it let along see it. Here's what I wanted and it wouldn't be gory in the least. Don't cut away after her head is encased. Instead let us hear the explosion see the armor on her head glow white hot and a puff of smoke steam out of it. She remains standing for a second and then just collapses to the ground with the metal head coffin hitting with a sort of hollow sounding clank. There we go no gore. That does bring up one other thing though. Tenzen got the shit beat out of him. He should be bloody! To quote 2TheRanting Gryphon. "Hit someone hard enough with a stale cheesy poof and they'll bleed!"
Ok now onto Zaheer. I don't care that he helps Korra a bit later. I really don't. I've heard some people call him an Anti-hero and utter his name in the same vain as Magneto's. Frankly I think their wrong. First off I felt the whole Anarchist thing was just so god damned stupid. I also find it funny that in order to get his world of chaos it involved clever and well thought out planning. You know Order. The Opposite of Anarchy. I feel people don't understand the full underpinning of what Zaheer wanted. I don't even think Zaheer was smart enough to really grasp what the consequences would be if he'd gotten is way and how it would really turn out even if he succeeded. What Zaheer wanted to do was essentially to tear down human civilization. The consequence of which would be countless deaths and suffering. Suffering that would continue. In his world you would have the strong dominating the weak. And you couldn't go without leaders of some sort. Others would rise to fill the vacated positions. Despots would rise and siez power and in a world where the strong dominate the weak it would most likely have been the most skilled benders dominating everyone else. You'd think Zaheer as a former non bender would have known that. I just can't get over that what he was doing was an attack on the very foundation of what has allowed humanity to survive. His plans for Korra herself merely add to that. That this is a man who would destroy living history and would see that all history is lost.
In short. Zaheer should have died. Someone should have killed him in that fight with Korra or once authorities had him they should have executed him. I can't comprehend why they wouldn't. Zaheer is to everyone in that world a terrorist and was responsible for murdering the queen of one of the four nations. There is no way he would be allowed to live. Put this way if he'd done what he did in our world at any point in history he'd have been killed.
This brings up one other thing though. I don't get how the entirety of the Earth Kingdom or maybe just the capital falls into chaos simply because the queen is killed. I mean she's not the only person of authority in the kingdom much less in the capitol for goodness sake. There should have been someone there who was the next in line who would have assumed power upon her death and kept order. Which just further goes to show how stupid his long term plans were. Kill all the heads of state. Well that doesn't work considering they tend to have lines of succession.
Well anyway those are my thoughts on all this and I feel better having gotten that all out of my system. Phew. Well what do you guys think? Anyone agree with me or have I angered members of Zaheer's fan club? XD

Liger Watc. Happy New Year!
Posted 11 years agoWell Happy New Year everybody! Well we're now in a new year. It's that time we celebrate the fact that the Earth made one more successful orbit of the sun. Yay! A time to look back at the year and judge it. Hehehehe. It was a decent year for movies and such but it had it's ups and downs for all of us. So here's hoping 2015 will be a better year. And here's wishing everyone good luck with their New Years Resolutions. Me I've got two of em. One I resolve to try and increase my art output and Two. I resolve to Bake more. I did a lil baking this year for christmas with the Christmas cookies and it occurred to me that I don't do it often enough. So this year will have more tasty fresh baked treats from me. Hehe. ^^ So what are your New Years resolutions?
Liger Watch. Happy Winter Celebration Thingy!
Posted 11 years agoOr Merry Christmas or whatever. Hehe. Hope everyone's had a nice holiday this year and here's hoping everyone got what they wanted from Santa. ^^ I think I had a pretty good Christmas this year. Well relatively good. Oh do I miss those days when I really excitedly looked forward to it. Hard to get excited when you for the most part know what your getting and what you don't know is typically nothing special. "Yippy ANOTHER box of body wash." XD One of the gifts got me laughing this year. A relative apparently remembered I liked StarTrek. So they bought me a Trek movie. That Trek movie was Star Trek into Darkness which some of you may recall that I well....despised it. And I'm not hopeful for the next sequel or the next StarWars film. On the bright side the Into Darkness blu-ray makes an excellent coaster. XD
Liger Watch. Happy Holidays and Dragons!
Posted 11 years agoWell first of all it's the holiday season and Christmas is getting ever closer. Hope everyone's enjoying the season and here's hoping Santa brings all of us all the toys we asked for. hehe. ^^ Figured I should make a Journal for the season and talk about something that's been Occupying my time recently. Dragon Age Inquisition. Now I haven't finished the game so I'll say this right now. NO SPOILERS. I don't want any and I won't be giving out any. But I figured I'd give my impression of the game thus far. So with that lets get started.
Dragon Age Inquisition.
First thing to pop to mind about this game that I feel can't be understated is it's size. Now this isn't one continuous world like Skyrim but these are still huge open maps. Put all of them together and it is at LEAST as big as Skyrim. Possibly even bigger. And this isn't just empty space either. You'll find quite a lot of side quest to do along the way. Run into lots of people. The ambient dialogue is pretty interesting most of the time and they generally feel like people.
Second is that the Characters in Inquisition feel like actual bloody people. Some you'll love. Some you'll hate. Some may even come to hate YOU if your not careful. But everyone has their own unique character and backstory that informs their actions and your interactions with them feel more realistic. They'll either approve of the stuff you do or they won't and well aside from gauging how they interact with you like real people there's no real way for you to know exactly how much they like or dislike you. There's no visible approval bar.
Now the combat is pretty fast paced and tactical as well. You have 8 Slots to assign your abilities too and that's it. This means you'll have to think tactically about what abilities to assign or if you even want to get some of them. But it is rewarding when you've come up with a mode of combat that works for you. Tip though. If you are a mage hang back away from the fray. Because as a Mage your not quite as durable. Especially with the new Health and Mana/Stamina system. Health in Inqusition doesn't regen on it's own. You have to take a potion to get it back and you can only carry so many of those at a time. But so long as your armored well and careful it shouldn't be a problem going into back to back fights especially as every time you enter one of your Camps your health will regen and your potions will restock.
Anyway all and all I just can't put into exact words how much I'm loving this game right now. This is exactly what Bioware needed to do after the Mass Effect 3 ending screw up. If this is any indication of things to come than their may be hope yet to Bioware to pull Mass Effect from the ashes. Here's hoping. But at any rate if any of you have been playing Inquisition what do you guys think of it? Also What species did you choose? Picked a Qunari Mage. ^^

Liger Watch. Happy Halloween!!!
Posted 11 years agoWell cubs it's Halloween. You all know what that means! Dressing up and going door to door demanding candy from strangers or you'll pull some sort of trick! It's the perfect racket! Muahahahahaah!!!! XD Ok it means costumes, candy, fun, and all thing spoooooooooky! It also means marathons of horror movies. See it's times like this being a crinkly cub comes in handy. No need to stop trick or treating for bathroom breaks and the couch isn't ruined when the monster jumps out in the movie. ^^
Anyway Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween as spooky as they want it to be. ^^ I know I am. Lets see. Candy? Check. Horror movies? Triple check. ^^ Luna Eclipsed episode of MLP? .....*blushes* Check. Lastly but also important. Diapee? *wiggles in place* Check. ^^ Don't forget you Halloween check list cubs. And if you have any spooky stories or Halloween tales to tell go right on ahead.

Liger Watch. OMG! OMG! Good StarTrek!
Posted 11 years agoWell it seems the age of good StarTrek isn't dead. Thanks to a friend of mine I came across this short film "Prelude to Axanar." A Crowd sourced film with a damn good look to it. It's currently raising money to continue with this into a feature length film and it just looks and sounds awesome. Done in the style of an in universe Documentary it feels like your in the Trek universe watching it and all the actors in it are bringing their A Game and the effects are pretty darn good for this. Definitely superior to a lot of stuff that makes it on TV like all those SyFy channel movies. So here's a link to the it for anyone who's interested. If you've got the money to spare and happen to be a trek fan than by all means donate some to their kickstarter. ^^ Hope you guys Enjoy this.

chinook_orcaHappy Zombie Christ Day!
Posted 11 years agoBoys and girls. Today is the day we celebrate the revival to Zombie status of Christ and how the Easter bunny's timely arrival and quick thinking prevented the Zombie Christ from devouring anybody's brains thanks to distracted him with tasty chocolate eggs and those lil marshmallow chicks that are everywhere. ^^
Hehe. Sorry if that's offensive to anyone but come on. In any other story a man rising from the dead has a hankering for human flesh. Hmmmm. Maybe that explains the whole communion thing with eating and drinking parts of Christ. Hehe.
Anyway I hope everyone's had a nice Easter. Try not to eat too much candy though otherwise tummy aches all around.

Happy New Year!
Posted 12 years agoYup that's right cubs its a shiny new year and here's hoping it'll be a good one. Fingers crossed. Time to bid farewell to the old and say Hello to the new. And with the hopeful in mind and not having any ideas for a New Years resolution I thought I'd share a few movies coming out this year that I'd like to see.
Her. Not sure how many people have seen the trailers to this but it looks neat. Idea being for this one a man gets an AI for his Operating system and the two appear to fall in love. Now this is one of those cases where you have a good concept that doesn't require a lot in the effects budget and from the commercials seems pretty well character driven. It's something I'd like to see though odds are I'll probably not see it until it hits DVD.
Godzilla. Yes finally another Godzilla movie is coming out state side and we know very little about it. I've seen the trailer and from what I can tell it seems it might be set in Japan with a lot of US military on site as our view point guys. Hard to tell. The foggy image of Godzilla though does look good showing a classic if updated version of the icon himself with his trademark roar. Look forward to it.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Well you guys may know I'm a big fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise. Got all the movies. So of course I'm excited about the new one coming out. Should be really cool getting to see what sort of Society Caesar's set up for the Apes and I'm curious to see how much verbal talking we'll see in this one. Do hope Caesar gets some more lines so Andy Circus can show a bit more of his talents. The man's done great work in his roles. ^^
Well those are a few of the movies I'm looking forward to in the coming year. What are you guys looking forward too?

Liger Watch. Scary Things!
Posted 12 years agoWell it's that time of year and Halloween is drawing very close so I thought that it was time to enjoy some of the spooky season's spookyness. So with that in mind I pose the question.
What Scares you?
It can be anything. Movies, animals, stories, nightmares, whatever. Just share with us what tends to scare your. I'll start with a few well rooted fears of my own starting with a very simple one.
Heights. Yes I'm very much afraid of them in a number of situations. For example the sidewalks on a bridge are one thing which scares me. When walking across one I typically have to remain close to the lil concrete wall separating the sidewalk from road. The worst of all though was an old bridge that has since been replaced. It was an old steel bridge. The entire thing made of that. The bottom being a heavily enforced metal grate and the thing about that one was that you could look down and see the water below you. Ug I hated that one. That's the only one that I even felt nervous while we drove over it. Any other bridge I'm fine with driving over.
Alien Abduction. Yes I know laugh it up. It's not that I believe that it's really real. I'm too Skeptical to say that it is. But just the whole concept of it and the fact that there is a very remote chance of it being real can get my brain going late at night so if I've just watched an alien show before bed I'll be uneasy and my imagination runs wild. Even if all these things are at most is a waking dream it's one I'd rather not have. I mean damn is that a horrible dream.
Whale Enclosures. No I've never actually seen one in real life but I occasionally have dreams that I'm at a place like seaworld or something and I'm just oh so scared that all that's separating me and metric tons of water and whale is this pane of glass and then there's the knowledge of how strong the animal is. One wrong move from it even on accident and I'm dead. And of course there's also the fact I can't swim.
Childhood Nightmares. Alright last one here. There are two nightmares I used to have as a little kid that really freaked me out. Both of them involving death and I think influenced a bit by being raised in a religious environment. In the First dream I'm in what appears to be a Morgue I think. Sometimes there's just the lil doors on the walls and sometimes there's this big casket like thing in the middle. But no matter what I as any little kid gets a bit curious and of course bored. So I go ahead and open one. As soon as I do I see what I can only call ghost flying out towards me. I don't know why but I always thought that I was letting the devil out so I'd slam it back shut but I could never get it to latch so there I'd be scared to death and trying to hold it shut as something is obviously trying to get out. Generally it's not long after that when I woke up. The Second dream is much more simple. I'm at school in my kindergarten classroom. It's dark in the room and very cloudy and dark outside. Everyone is laying down for nap time but I could never actually sleep during it. So I lay there awake and something draws me to the classroom door. I walk up to it and open it and standing there outside it are ghostly versions of my parents and grandparents. Not much more beyond that. I think there was a bit more too it but that was always the part that stuck with me and I don't think the dream lasted much beyond that.
Well there's some things that either have or still do scare me. So how about it guys? What scares you?

Liger Watch. PS2 Woes
Posted 12 years agoWell I've been trying to figure this out on my own for a while and so far no luck. So I'm gonna come out and ask for some help. I've got an old PS2 Slim and I'm having an odd issue it it.
It plays PS1 games, and CDs and DVDs just fine but it won't play a single PS2 game I put in it. I know it's spinning the disc and trying to read it but it's not. It just sits there trying and returns with "The Disc could not be Read." message and I have no idea what's wrong with it. If someone could help that would be nice.

Liger Watch. The FA Meme!
Posted 12 years agoWell I saw
Zee-Zee doing this and well I thought what the heck I'd do the same.
1. Why did you join FurAffinity?
Well I guess he reason I joined was I saw a
Tavimunk on here and well looking at his art on here and had lead me to looking around at all the other babyfur art. Being an aspiring artist just starting things out I figured I'd go ahead and join as well. Around the time I joined a number of people from FTT did.
2. What does your username have to do with you?
Well there's really not much of a story behind it. Lig. Liger. You can see where I got it. I think I also remembered it as the nickname of the main Zoid Liger in the original Zoids cartoon I remember watching. Since then I've occasionally lengthened the name for formal stuff to Ligose.
3. What is your current avatar of?
Current one is a pic that was done quite a long ways back by a fur named Lexus. I really do love it and I now Lexus has a n account here but I haven't seen much from him in quite some time.
4. How many watchers do you have, and how many do you watch?
I have 773 Watchers! Wows a pretty big number. And I have about 81 watched. There's also probably a number of artist whom I might not have on my watch list but do check in on from time to time .
5. Do you have more than one account?
Nope thought I'd imagine I could have one just for all my weird aliens. XD
6. Name 3 of your favorite artists on FA.
Oh now lets see, there's way more than three but well first off I gotta mention
zee-zee I love his stuff there's always a cute lil scenario or scene and he just so perfectly captures that lil kid mentality. I also have to mention
fjf here as his adorable babyfur art is partly what got me into the whole babyfur scene and had a hand in influencing my second ever character Balt the folf. There's also
lilchu as well. He just does such a great job of capturing these emotions with his characters and I just have a fondness for his art style
7. What artist do you admire because of their personality?
Ah quite a few. ZeeZee again of course as he's always so kind and such to others trying to always be fair. I also have to say
chinook_orca as we're both very logical and kinda nerdy people and I do have to admit I admire that fire he gets in him on some issues even if on some of them I might not completely agree. Also gotta admire
emeritus_terciel for a lot of creativity with his art and well the fact that despite difficulties he's been at it so long refining it all the time. Can't forget
Raikan either as he's always nice to hang around with and lets face it is one of the best caretakers around and I just hope he gets some cub time to himself though. ^^
8. Do you comment, fave, or both?
I primarily comment as I love recieving them most myself. It's always nice hearing what someone thinks. A fav is nice but a comment always makes me smile. And generally speaking onthe rare occasion I fav something I make a point to comment on it. I also try and comment on a broader scope of things that the artist I watch do. Even the non babyfur stuff as hey it's important to the artist too and I know the feeling of posting that stuff and never getting a comment on it.
9. What do you typically post on FA?
Mostly pics though I tend to like to write a short story to go along with them. I like coming up with the background for the character as much as actually drawing it. I also write though I tend not to post that many stories as I don't sit down to write a full story all that often and sometimes when I do I never sees completion as it peters out part way through.
10.What's your favorite submission in your gallery?
Ah that's a hard one. I like all my pics obviously and there are a few I'm proud of but I think my two faves would have to be. Bedtime Nuzzles http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6647501/ and Getting Ready for Bed http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7138560/ I really do think Akio turned out quite adorable in that pic and I really do need to get around and draw him again it's just a matter of locking in exactly what I want his backstory to be and also maybe sitting down and writing it for a story.
11. What are the things you wish you could draw better?
Poses and Backgrounds. I tend not to be able to see really cool poses or activity idea for characters in my head and while I might come up with something neat I'm often unsure what to do with it creatively. And a lot of my backgrounds are made easier by just using various brushes but I do wish I could sit down and actually draw out these good detailed backgrounds I see so many able to do.
12. How many hours a day do you spend on FA?
Oh quite a few. Not sure of the number though I frequently browse around looking at this or that. Sometimes it gets my gears going and gives me an idea for a character or a species or something.
13. Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
Ah if I had to say I'd say probably medium. Not too fast or too slow it just depends on my mood or how much energy I have at a given time.
14. What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Ah I don't really get asked anything too annoying. Maybe once in a while I'll get a request and have to tell them that I generally don't do them but even that's not really annoying.
15. What is the most annoying/offending comment you've received?
Ah again I don't get many or any of those but if I had to pick I'd say probably a few times when I've gotten comments from die hard Mass Effect fans on some of my diaper Mass Effect stuff. I understand though that their defending something they love but it is a little hurtful that some of them feel that strongly about it. I mean I've seen plenty of people do all kinds of fetishy things with Mass Effect stuff mixing it with something else they love so why can't I?
16. What/who inspires you?
A lot of the people around here who draw and write and do all this amazing stuff and who are generally really good people. Gives me a lil hope for the species and gives me something to keep me moving forward with my own art and stories.
17. Everyone has considered leaving FA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Ah I can't say I've ever actually considered leaving as well I like the place a whole lot. ^^
Well hope you guys liked this and well feel free to do one of these yourself. ^^

Liger Watch. Story Time!
Posted 12 years agoOk ZeeZee's been doing this for a while so I thought I'd go ahead and write a lil short story in the Journal for everyone. ^^
"Alright guys into the car." Warren said holding open the back door of is scout parked in Zed and Zena's driveway.
"Come on ZeeZee! This is gonna be so cool! We get to see a shuttle take off!" Lig grinned grabbing ZeeZee's hand and lead the way to the car. Today's trip saw him dressed in a Nasa t-shirt and a pair of shorts which really didn't do much to conceal what was under them.
"Uh Huh! When I grow up I'm gonna be an astronaut and a super Hero. I'm already really close to getting there cuz I'm I'm a big boy and super clever." ZeeZee Boasted as they got into the car.
"Yeah but you know Astronauts where diapers cuz there's no potty breaks on a space walk. So I got ya beat there." Lig grinned proving yet another way diapers were better as Warren buckled them into the child seats in back.
"Well not me! I won't need any diapers. I'll be a super big boy Astronaut and just hold it like a big boy." ZeeZee pointed out not wanting to let the Liger win. Obviously the potty was better.
"I'm sure someday you'll both make great lil Astronauts now who wants me to turn on the radio?" Warren asked as they pulled out of the driveway.
"Me!" They both said in unison and then giggled.
So the two sat back listening quitely to the music as the car drove tot he launch center ZeeZee of course after a while started to fidget in his seat. He had to go but he was a big boy and he could hold it until they got there or to a rest stop. He was a big boy and certainly wouldn't be having any accidents today. ZeeZee Looked over to Lig seeing him leaning back a bit farther in his seat with his eyes closed and smirked. See he really was a big boy. He didn't feel the least bit sleepy. But a few moments later after a little squirming in his seat Lig let out a sigh and grinned as he looked out the window. ZeeZee wondered what Lig was grinning about at first and then the smell hit him.
"Eawww! Warren! Lig did a poopy in his diaper!" ZeeZee called out from the back seat covering his nose theatrically.
"Well I'll pull over at the next rest stop and change him then." Warren taid waiving his hand in front of his nose for a moment. He thought about cracking the windows but it was a hot day and he didn't wanna let the cool air from the AC out.
"A Liger's gotta do what a Liger's gotta doodoo." Lig giggled at his lil joke squirming around in his seat a moment.
"See this is why the potty's better Lig. When you can use the potty you don't have to go in your pants and stinky up the car." ZeeZee said fidgeting more in his seat hands switching from covering his nose to trying to help him hold it.
"But then you gotta hold it a long time and be uncomfy. But with a diapee you just go and it's Ok and so what if it's a lil stinky sometimes." Lig retorted noticing ZeeZee's squirms.
Warren sighed listening to them and from the look of the rear view mirror wondered if he'd have two cubs to change by the time they made to the rest stop.
The End?
Well hope you guys liked the lil story. ^^

LigerWatch. Not Dead XD
Posted 12 years agoAlright I haven' been all that productive with my art lately since my last scifi pic and well I thought I'd make a journal to explain a bit and just talk a lil at random. ^^
Well reason for no new art in the past few days has been a simple one. I haven't drawn anything in that time frame. I haven't drawn anything cuz I've been a busy lil Liger working on a new story. ^^ I recently got back into the Teen Titans series, both the older one and the new one and well that's inspired a fanfic centering around my Green Martian character Ben joining the Titans and sparks starting to fly with him and Beast Boy. At this particular moment I'm up to page 34 on the story and hopefully it won't be too long until it's done and posted. Can't say for sure. I'm taking my time, fleshing things out, and trying not to sell any of the characters short. Might try taking a break to get something up before long though it'll probably be related to the story.
Beyond that I've also been just generally getting into the DC universe and watching some related animated movies while I write. Also been listening to some sappy sad songs during parts of this story cuz hey neither my character or BeastBoy have the brightest of past.
Now then a question to the watchers. What Justice League Hero is your favorite? Yes Young Justice or Teen Titan characters are acceptable as well. ^^ My I'd have to say I really do like the Martian Manhunter. Both his comic and animated series origins are pretty tragic but the way he conducts himself is pretty cool not to mention a very nice array of powers. Of course Beyond him I also like the John Stewart Green Lantern. Just never have liked Hal Jordan. The man just doesn't strike me as anything special and there's a world of difference between an Ex Test Pilot and an Ex Soldier. I'd much rather see the later leading the League into action in Superman's absence than the former. ^^

Liger Watch. Happy 4th of July! Also Spore!!
Posted 12 years agoIt's that time of year again when America celebrates another birthday. It's a another year older and Great Sagan's Ghost I hope wiser. XD I hope everyone's having some fun and not roasting to death in the sun. Also hope everyone's being safe cuz well fireworks while pretty are dangerous. ^^
Anyway beyond all that stuff I've been having some fun today as the lil Liger finally lad paws on a copy of Spore! So far I've been playing it and I have to say it's pretty fun. That said certain stuff could show up a lil faster like the particular kind of legs I wanted for my first player alien didn't show up until just after the critter was able to proceed to the tribal stage. That said the creature creator's pretty fun and I've quite enjoyed messing about with it. This is probably gonna inspire new aliens from me and odds are I'll be doing stuff with my original aliens in Spore. ^^

Liger Watch. StarTrek Into Darkness SPOILERS.
Posted 12 years agoOk I saw the new StarTrek into Darkness movie a few nights ago and well after seeing all the praise it's been getting I felt the need to put down my review for it. Because really I think everyone is highly over rating it in a more extreme manner than they did for Iron Man 3 which I thought was alright but had a number of problems with.
Well lets start off at the beginning. We have Kirk and company on a planet attempting to covertly save a pre-warp civilization. And by pre-warp I mean these guys are wearing loincloths and holding spears. Something goes wrong and Spock is stuck in the Volcano. He's already set the device to save the planet but wants to be left behind because there's no way to save him without the natives seeing the ship. Of course Kirk like anyone with more than two brain cells saves him anyway and they fly off. Spock writes up a report about it telling the whole truth and Kirk looses the ship back to Pike. Who then later makes Kirk his first officer, who is then later killed at a meeting discussing Khan's attack on a facility, which means once again Kirk is captain of the Enterprise. All this takes place in the span of I think about 15 minutes. I just think it's stupid that he lost his command over something so trivial and even dumber that it didn't last all that long.
Now I know I'm gonna have to talk about Cumberbatch. I frankly didn't like him as Khan. I'll say this I am completely unfamiliar with anything else the actor has done so please don't tell me how good he is in something else. He seems like he is a good actor but I don't think he filled this role well. The original Khan had a presence to him that exuded experience and determination to see his goal achieved. This Khan didn't carry the same weight.
Besides that Khan isn't our main villain for much of the time. Robocop Admiral is, I can't remember the charactr's or actor's name but he played robocop. The Admiral here is your typical war monger type who somehow managed to have a Federation Dreadnaught bigger than anything else they have built in secret at Earth's door Step which makes no sense. Even less sense is made as this ship engages the Enterprise in combat so close to Earth that the Enterprise gets pulled in by it's gravity when the power goes out. You'd think there'd be at least a half dozen ships converging on that situation especially considering they had what amounted to a terror attack happen but a day or two earlier.
As to the ending. It tries to be clever by doing the scene from Wrath of Khan where Spock exposes himself to radiation to save the ship only this time the roles are reversed and we have Kirk dieing on the other side of the glass and then Spock yelling "Khaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!" This to me felt more like a rip off than paying homage to it. Like someone scooped out a cool scene and decided to use it without understanding what made it work. We just don't have as great a connection with these two characters yet to care enough despite the stellar acting going on in the scene. Besides that it lacks any kind of punch because we know Kirk won't be dead long. Anyone paying attention will know in advance that they'll use Khan's Blood to resurrect Kirk, why they didn't try using the blood of any of the other 72 augments they had in cryo on board I have no idea. So Yeah the movie ends with the Enterprise's rechristening with everyone alive and going off to do their 5 year mission.
Now the one last thing I'll add here is the lack of any familiar Star Trek species. We see Only two Vulcans which are both Spock, a bunch of Klingons who are almost all masked, and an Orion girl. All of which are familiar species fairly cheap on the Make up. But we instead get all kinds of strange new alien species all over the place with extensive make up. All because JJ thought they looked cool and ignored all the Trek species that could have been used. Considering this is a Young Federation I'd expect to see more Andorians and Tellerites around considering they were among the four first founders of the Federation.
Well that's my review for the latest Star Trek movie? What do you guys think?

Liger Watch. Artistic Issues
Posted 12 years agoWell I thought I'd get around and make a new Journal and address something which has bugged me for a while. I dunno what it is but a lot of the pics that I post that I'm most proud of seem to garner little in the way of attention. The thing that bothers me is that these pics are usually not centered around diapers. Most of the time I do include diapers, maybe subtly under clothes and mention of them in the description or sometimes their not included at all, but it just bugs me that it seems some of the work I'm most proud of seems to garner no attention simply because it's not as heavily diaper themed as my other works.
Now I know I might be over thinking this or what not but I'd like to hear what some of you guys think cuz this is something which has been bugging me for a while.

Liger Watch. Mass Effect and Late new year.
Posted 13 years agoWow first journal of the new Year. Man I've been slacking off with Journals. XD Well so far the New Year's been Ok though i still need to work on my resolution to draw more. But yeah. Of course what motivates a nerdy nerdy crinkle pants Liger to write a journal? Why the latest tease of an upcoming Mass Effect 3 dlc. The tease are two pics released via twitter and I plan on talking a bit about both.
First off from Casey Hudson we have this pick:

And secondly we have this one from Mike Gamble:

The first one makes me wonder a bit. I think this may be a strip on the Citadel likely down in the Wards but I'm not sure given some of the vertical scale we seen farther back in the image. However if it is the Citadel this could be related to the Citadel map files found within the Leviathan dlc. Who knows. No matter what though I wonder what sort of significance this has on the plot of the dlc. My hopes are down a bit as it seems unlikely to be ending related but hard to tell from one pic here. But this pic does have one very interesting thing which regardless makes me smile. That Krogan standing in front of the Casino looks like Wrex to me and the person next to him could either be Shepard or Kaiden. So who knows. At any rate I welcome the chance to see Wrex again.
Now as for the second I really think this is a new Krogan class for multiplayer though I suppose it could be a new Krogan squadmate which would be nice but I have my doubts. Also kinda like and dislike this guy. For one hey gravity hammers are cool. But on the other hand it just makes me go "Really? Your lifting something from Halo?" As for the background of the picture I wanna say he's on an Asari world but too little visible to be sure. Though if that's Illium than those dual towers in the background could be the finished Dantius Towers which would be a neat touch.
At any rate this tease has got me thinking though I'm a little less hopeful now that this dlc could be that great. This could be a romance dlc giving you the option to do more with your love interest. Hard to say. Still know so little. So what do you guys think?
