Gallery and Page Overhaul!

Heya hiya! Those of you following me are probably aware that my gallery is neither up to date nor particularly well managed. I have some time with all the things going on, so I'm using it to update my page, upload commissions, and sort out my gallery! Final Fantasy, Anyone?

Hey everybody! I've been playing Final Fantasy 14 for a bit now, just over about a couple months, and I've fallen in love with the game! If anyone here plays or would like to play, feel free to hit me up! I play a Scholar (which is a healer for those of you unfamiliar) and a Summoner (which is a closely tied DPS class to Scholar). I'm on the Aether data center on the world Adamantoise~

Now, for those of you who don't play and may like to, try iiiiiiiit! It's free to start and will let you play up to your first level 30 character (You can go up to level 80 in the game currently) AND they don't lock you in any one class, so you can level that first class, maybe decide, "eh, I'm not sold on it" and try out a totally different class before you've bought anything. If/when you finally decide you like it, buy the game and you can pick up where it cut you off.

I will warn ya, if you're looking to get into it and aren't sure, there's three big things you oughta know. It's a HUGE time soak, first off. It takes a long time to progress through story content (cause there's a BUTTLOAD of it), and skipping the Main Story Quests isn't an option unless you pay for it (not that I would recommend that anyway, you'd be missing out). Secondly, the game is almost ENTIRELY story-oriented. Many of the dungeons and the like you can blitz if you just wanna murder stuff, but all the main and a lot of the side quests are very dialogue heavy. If you like reading books or enjoy a good story, this is the game for you~ It gets more bearable for those who don't like reading after the base game, the cutscenes become voice acted and things heat up a bit, there's less fluff. Lastly, it is a subscription game. You play for free up to level 30, and when you buy the game they give you free play days (I've played almost two months free) but after that you have to cough up money every month or two to keep playing. Personally, I love the game and think it's worth it, but some people may not want to pay for their game every couple months, which is understandable.

TL;DR I play Final Fantasy 14 now, if you play, join me! If you don't look into it! It's fun!

Merging accounts/Update <3

Hiya! I've been dropping behind lately with the upkeep of my account, so I wanted to bring by an update for everyone ^^

Firstly, I have decided to re-merge my "after dark" account with my main account. At first I figured it was a nice idea to separate them, but seeing as I don't have heaps of artwork really cluttering anything yet, and also that the largest point of separating the accounts (to get NSFW artwork off my main account on the offhand chance my current or future employers went looking) is pretty much moot since FA blocks NSFW artwork to guests anyway, as well as because I can't be bothered to sequester every commission I want to favorite onto my NSFW profile. So, if there's not really a valid reason to keep things separate, then I'd much rather have everything together anyway. X3

Secondly, I have a ton of new artwork I need to catch up on posting! Life has been crazy! The military does a great job of keeping me busy a lot of the time, but commissions have still been coming!
In fact, on that note, I have awesome news! I got my first piece from Zambuka

Zambuka ! Zambuka went through a bit of a revamp recently, starting a Patreon, drawing artwork more often again, and even planning out some awesome projects I'm very much looking forward to~

Random ad aside, it was actually Zambuka's artwork that introduced me to the furry fandom, and gosh did I love it~
I recently managed to get into Zambuka's commission queue, and I got the piece back! A piece of artwork from the artist who got me into this whole mess XD
Needless to say, I've been super thrilled with it, especially since her artwork is so darned good! <3

So, that's had me super happy recently~ I've also recently received back the first of a series of reference sheets I plan on getting for characters I created a while back.

Serialdad was kind enough to take a commission for a furred dragon of mine named Syrix, and I'm really excited to start getting artwork for her. A few other things are still coming up, and I even pan on starting up some story-writing (for realsies this time? :o).

Now, for the last bit of this impromptu update! Life! In case you weren't aware, I am a member of the United States Military. For safety concerns, I regret that I am not able to give any more specific information, but suffice it to say that Training for the military is intense, and definitely something to be reckoned with. That being said, I am nearing a time where I will be free enough to begin to writing and even drawing in my off-time, and I have a schedule in place to begin practice when that time arrives. ^^
It's been my dream for a while now to be a content producer in this wonderful fandom of ours, and with some time and effort, I believe that I can get there! I just need to start taking those first few steps. X3
So, here in roughly two or three months, expect to begin seeing the beginnings of content from me! Yay!!!! XD

FIRST CONVENTION EVER!!! XD

Oh my goodness, it’s finally happening!!!!!!
I’ve officially signed up for my first convention! I will be attending PawCon in California this November! 💛💛💛

I have transportation arranged, my registration completed, and the weekend open for the convention! All I need now is to get a room~

Speaking of! If anyone, by some crazy random chance, happens to be going and in need of a roommate, please send me a note! I’m willing to split the cost of the room to stay that Friday and Saturday night. ^^

Anyway! I’m SO EXCITED! This will be my first chance to attend any convention, let alone a furry convention, and I’m just giddy with excitement! I’ve only seen a Fursuit once before (it was a beautiful suit of what I believe was a Peregrine Falcon), and this will be an incredibly opportunity to see more suits as well as grab all the furry merch I can handle~ 😹💛

CREATING AN ALTERNATE ACCOUNT

So, I felt it necessary to create an alternate account for all of my NSFW artwork. I plan to be commissioning plenty of artwork in the future, plus I'm in an environment that requires me to be a tad more careful with what I have on public profiles. I'm moving any NSFW artwork to the new account and placing new artwork between the two accounts accordingly. ^^
