An angelic werebear demon who never knew his parents, Garr was an immortal with purple and yellow hair and red eyes who cried blood when he was too shy to the face world, hiding behind his wings. He was strong though and very muscular and super attractive. With his ability to mind read and shoot fireballs, he didnt need a staff to shoot lightning but he had one anyways but his true power is yet to be discovered. But he is also a healer from a line of rich angel demon hybrids. When he watched his cruel parents die, he was abused by them and only became emo when he started to declare his morals around other people. His emotional and mental disorders made it hard for him to stay sane even as he looked for a relationship. Him and his multiple personalities were intelligent but the hallucinations he had would sometimes summon spirits that guided him as he ran away from home. His ring finger glowed and was connected to the element of "Blood". He only kind of looked like a demon from Devil May Cry but not really because he was different and dark and the smell of criticism gives him nervous breakdowns when they live in the different country from which he was born. He is mysterious and dark but happy but sometimes he changes his mood as well. He is patient with his friends and since he is also the perfect assassin, he is quick to dispatch his enemies. The chain necklace he wears he can't remember why he has on but keeps it because the necklace cursed him to forget but that was always written in the prophesy. He was the chosen one and sometimes he couldn't sleep.

Paypal changed the look of how you will fill out information and send money. Thus, you need to be super careful. Don’t go all willy nilly through and be like “Yeah yeah yeah send” you need to stop when you see this screen right away.

Before you proceed, you will first notice one major thing: your address is showing. What you need to do if you are ordering a DIGITAL WORK (aka, it is being sent to you via the interwebz) is you need to click on your address and there around be a drop down menu of 3 (or more) options:

+ Add a new shipping address
Be sure to select “No address needed”, it is very important that you do. If you leave your address in there, Paypal will assume that you are to receive a physical package. A physical package which needs proof that exists physically. Paypal will want the artist to provide shipping labels and tracking info on said package. This is bad, very, very bad. Artists can get in trouble if they cannot provide these things.

Please, if an artist asks to send you back your money so that you can send it again correctly, do not be offended. You are paying them to do your commission, how can they do your commission with no money?

 stigmata It was a shame you didn't get to go but I definitely felt like I got to know you a little based on the reactions I got when I talked to people about the commission I got from you. So.. Yeah.. Heh..
Lot of things have been said about the chlorine incident.
I won't add too much to that topic, suffice it to say, me and my roommates were ok.
I do think this wasn't an accident and I think it was meant to disrupt, not to seriously harm. There are better ways.
I am looking forward to finding out more about it as it develops.
Hopefully there will be some fingerprints on that jar. (I think they said it was a jar... right?)

The con was an overwhelmingly positive experience.
As a newbie, I didn't know what to expect but I met a lot of friendly people who made me feel welcome.
I often felt like it was less of a furry con and more of a hug con.
I think the reasons people join the community are varied and if you ask 10 people you'll get 10 different answers.
But being around so many artists, talented writers, suiters and comics was an absolute blast.
If you were ever feeling like you were on the fence about going I recommend it.
Open yourself up to meeting new people and just go and do it.
You won't regret it.

Don't really know what to expect since its my first time but I'm pretty excited.

So.. I should probably begin this journal by saying that I've wanted to do a "Meet the OC" meme thing for a while now. I knew my character wouldn't just sit down and tolerate the casual interview meme that had been circling around. Garr probably wouldn't have even stopped to listen to the first question so my idea was to create a little story where he'd been captured and interrogated. It was supposed to be a short little thing but somewhere along the way it became the 6 page monster it is now... I don't know how many people will read this but I'm tired of trying to keep it a well balanced story as well as an interview / interrogation.

Theoretically I'm going to expand the interview below into a bigger story (mostly because people I showed it to wanted to know more when I didn't have anything planned) and I'll probably be roping in one of  nikogor's characters into it as well, whose idea the interrogation was in the first place. At that stage, the fleshed out story will be about Garr and Kong getting imprisoned in sort sort of prison. It'll answer a lot of questions I didn't have time for in this journal, such as who the captors are, how Garr got captured and what they'll do once they do escape.

I've tried to give you, the readers, a strong sense of what Garr is like, even if he changes from setting to setting a bit, and many of the "Meet The OC" questions are actually answered within, even if the question isn't asked.

The other thing I wanted to mention before letting you go is that the last bit of the interview is intended to rope in the AMA sections of "Meet The OC" memes by letting you, the reader, be the captors behind the camera and ask questions to the currently contained bear. In the future, I'll probably post this as a submission and continue the AMA if people are interested.

"I've changed my mind. I'm not going through with this."

"Mr. Keaton, please understand, we have sent you into that room to get a job done. Is that job done, Mr. Keaton?" crackled the speaker in the corner of the damp room. A single camera whirred on an electric motor, turning to focus onto the wolf pacing in the cell.

"You can't do this to me! This is illegal! I don't have to do shit!"

A figure underneath a single dangling lightbulb sits tied to a steel reinforced chair in the far side of the damp, dank room. Black furred arms are bolted with steel cuffs to the armrests and its head is slumped forward, wrapped in a burlap sack. Bloodstains mar the sack's appearance and a broad black chest slowly heaves with breath.

"Mr. Keaton. The longer you spend arguing with us, the longer it'll take for you to be done with that interview... The longer it takes for you to complete the interview, the longer it will be before you will be allowed to leave. Those sedatives will not hold up forever."

"This is fuckin horseshit. You guys have a speaker and a camera. Why do I have to be in here?", groused the wolf as he glared into the unsympathetic eye of the camera which whirred as it tracked the wolf pacing around the room.

"Everything will be explained when you open the envelope.", the speaker said, its voice's owner dripping with strained patience. "Now, if you're quite done dragging your feet, we recommend you open that envelope. When he wakes up..."

A low rumbling chuckle utters forth from the hooded figure. "...Yes. What'll happen when I wake up?"

The space inside the room begins to feel claustrophobic, as if its suddenly harder to breathe as the wolf's suddenly bloodshot eyes slowly turn towards the hooded figure. A small table with a manila envelope separates the wolf from the incapacitated cellmate.

"He seems to be awake Mr. Keaton. I suggest you open that envelope and complete your task. Remember what is at stake. Full amnesty from your crimes. Freedom. Your family."

The wolf stares at the envelope for a very long time, sweat beading up on his forehead. Mouth suddenly dry, he takes a step towards the table. As he does so, he hears the figure snarl and he involuntarily lets out a startled yelp. His pulse quickening, he closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and then walks up to the envelope and opens it.

Inside he finds a simple sheet of paper and a syringe. A small post-it note wrapped around the syringe reads "Truth Serum". In smaller letters at the bottom of the post-it note, it reads: "Good Luck."

'Okay... I can do this...' The wolf thinks to himself. As he gets ready to ask the first question on the premade interview, he hears the crackle of the speaker and darts a glance at the camera.

"Mr. Keaton..."

"Y-..Yes?"

"Remove the subject's hood for the camera."

All the wolf can do is stare at the prisoner's chest heaving up and down, an unignorable reminder that the subject is still very much alive. Tensely, the wolf steps towards the hooded figure even as the growls grow louder, unable to ignore how rusted some of the restraints now look upon closer inspection.. the way that the legs of the chair seem to have been dented and scratched. With a quick movement, he tries to yank off the sack but its been tied at the prisoner's neck.

The figure jerks in his chair, the steel groaning as the unmistakable depth of a bear's roar erupts from the captive. The prisoner grips the armrests and blood begins to seep around his wrists from where the steel has bit into his forearms.

The wolf jumps back and starts to break out into a fresh sweat. The hairs on the back of his neck stand up and his blood runs cold in his veins from the bestial roar. "NO. FUCK NO. OH GODS NO.... NO NO NO". His eyes dart around the room and his voice cracks as the beginnings of panic seep into his voice.

"Mr. Keaton. The hood. Now. We will not repeat ourselves again.", crackles the speaker.

The wolf breathes heavily, trying to get his heart to quit feeling like its trying to jump out of his chest. His breath seems to echo loudly in the room compared to the earsplitting roar from earlier.

After a few moments, the wolf wipes his forehead of its sweat and grips his hands reflexively, trying to build up his nerve. He pads softly towards the hooded bear and with his hands shaking, proceeds to undo the knot. It seems to take an eternity but eventually, the blood encrusted strings dangle loosely from the sack's edge and he lifts the hood away.

It's a gruesome sight, but the first thing the wolf notices is the sudden coppery smell of blood in the air as the hood comes off. . The black bear's face is badly beaten and his fur is matted with blood. His left eye has been swollen shut and his right eye blinks at the sudden intrusion of light. Grimacing, he shifts his arms before settling his dark brown eye upon the wolf, watching the wolf's every move. The wolf can't help but notice how stocky the bear is, his arms and legs looking like treetrunks. There isn't much definition, but the wolf had no doubts as to the power that lurked within. Grey fur stands out against his dark features where it hasn't been stained red with blood.

The wolf trembles as he walks away, doing his damndest to not look at the bear. The glimpses he saw while he pulled the hood off were unsettling and turned his stomach. Trying to steel his shattered nerves, he sits down at the lone chair by the table and holds the single sheet in front of him.

"Question One.."

"Hey. What's your name?" The bear's deep baritone voice is unnervingly calm as he interrupts the wolf.

"Shut the fuck up. Ques-", the wolf snapped, eager to get the damn thing over with.

"Your name." the bear growls suddenly, his eye pinning the wolf down with his stare.

"...Paul." the wolf found himself saying, finally looking up to meet the bear's penetrating gaze.

"They tell you what happened to the last guy they brought to me, Paul?", the bear grins maliciously.

The wolf stares back at the bear and for a fraction of a second his ears lay back.

The bear chuckles darkly. "...I see they have. Just making sure..." The bear leans aside and spits on the ground before leaning back into his chair, a crooked smile on his muzzle. "Well then. Get on with it... Paul."

"What's your name?"

"Garr."

"Do you know why you were given that name?"

Garr shrugs. "I was young and I thought it sounded tough."

"What is your species?"

The bear stares at Paul. "...Bear."

"What is your gender?"

Garr frowns for a moment, as if he's not sure if the wolf is kidding or not. "Male."

"Do you have any family?"

Garr leans his head back and stretches his neck. "No."

"How old are you?"

"Twen-Ty Nine.." he drawls, drawing out each syllable.

"Were you educated?"

"Yeah. Learned a lot on the streets." Garr looks through Paul as though remembering something he hasn't thought of in a while. "Learned even more in the wilds." Garr seems to refocus on Paul. "Got a degree in philosophy too." He smirks, seemingly pleased with his assinine remark.

"Have you ever killed anything?"

The bear chuckles softly. "Believe it or not, meat don't grow on trees in nice little plastic packages."

"Have you ever killed anyone?"

Garr smiles wryly. "We both know the answer to that question. Yes."

"Do you like to hurt people?"

Garr starts to laugh, his voice echoing in the room. "Seriously?" He grins a toothy smile. "How about you undo these restraints." Garr stretches out his fingers before gripping the armrests again. "We can find out."

The wolf begins to growl as he fingers the syringe inside the envelope. "I'm sick of your smug attitude..." The bear didn't look so tough. He was beaten five different shades of hell and he had to have been weakened by the lack of sleep he undoubtably got last night. Slowly, Paul's attitude started to shift as he eyed the bloody restraints on the bear's arms. "How about...", the wolf mused, his voice gaining confidence, "...we find out some real answers? See how you like a little truth serum shedding light into your dark corners..."

For the first time, Garr starts to look a little unsettled. His face then turns serious, forcing his swollen eye open. "...If you stick me with that needle, you won't need truth serum to believe me when I say I will tear you and everyone in this fucking building to pieces."

The wolf starts to grin as he holds up the syringe. "Oh.. The big bad bear wants to make threats." Gaining even more confidence, he starts to walk towards Garr. Garr begins to struggle in his restraints as the wolf arrives. "Now... Try not to faint, I need you awake for this interview." Paul smirked as he jammed the syringe into Garr's arm and depressed the plunger.

Garr snarled and gritted his teeth but he could feel the formula searing the blood in his shoulder. "...I'm going to especially enjoy ripping you apart, mutt." Garr spat out even as his mind started to fog over. "I'm going to savor your screams for a long fucking time."

Paul smugly walked back over to his chair. "I don't know why I didn't think to do this sooner... Just a few more questions and I'm walking out of here while they leave you to rot... or worse..."

Garr began to growl but the strange woozy, floating feeling started to sweep through him and his head bobbed as he struggled to hold it upright. What came out instead was an unsteady groan.

Paul sits down and smiles darkly at Garr. "What to ask first...."

"What does the big bad bear like to fuck?"

Garr grips the armrests so hard that the chair begins to groan, gathering every fiber of his being together in trying to fight against the effects of the serum. The slow burn spreads through his chest with each passing second and he feels himself losing his inhibitions. Feeling like a caged animal in his mind, he shuts his eyes and grimaces. Was there more sedative in the serum as well..? He was definitely feeling weaker..

"I fuck dudes that can handle a pounding... Show em everything they aren't before leaving them moaning in quivering pile of fuck." Garr's mind races as he finds himself talking despite himself.

"Interesting.." The wolf smirks. "Why are you such a fucking asshole?"

Garr's head sways, trying to will himself to shut up. "I've had to be. Nobody ever gave me anything for free. You either take what you want or you get stepped on by those with power."

"Poetic.." the wolf sneered. "So the big bad bear had to face off against the world alone...Boo fuckin hoo."

Garr feels a huge ache in his chest as his mouth continues to run itself. "...No.. not alone..."

The wolf's ears perked up. "...No...?"

Garr thrashes against his seat as he tries to fight the serum but it's no use. "...I... Have... a.... Brother....named... Fen"

The wolf arched an eyebrow. "I thought you said you didn't have any family.."

Garr snarls viciously, hating himself for giving his brother up, the sting of betrayal cutting him deeper than the restraints ever could. "Surprise... I fucking lie when I'm being tortured and interrogated."

The wolf seems very pleased with himself, thinking this is exactly the kind of leverage the men in suits would like to hear.
"How interesting. Tell me more about him... Where is he? Is he dangerous?"

Garr continued to struggle and pull against his bonds, the chair continuing to groan and creak from the strain. "...I don't fucking know. Haven't kept in touch. He can take care of himself..."

The bear hocked another wad of bloodflecked spit on the ground to the side of him. "Fen was always the brains of the operation while I was the brawn. That probably made him more dangerous than I ever was."

The wolf raised an eyebrow but moved on to the next question on the sheet.

"Are you married? Do you have kids?"

"...No and no..." Garr tried to keep his face calm as he realized the sedative in the truth serum was starting to wear off and his hands gripped his armrests.

"Do you have any powers?"

Garr starts to laugh as he feels his strength returning, the fogginess in his mind starting to clear up. "I don't need anything other than my bare hands..."

The wolf frowned as he reached the bottom of his sheet. He was out of questions. "Alright.." he said to the camera. "That's the last of it. Fuck you Garr... I'm out of here." He walked over to the door and started to jiggle the handle, the bear still chuckling in the background.

"Why is the door still locked? C'mon.. The... Oh fuck... Fuck you guys.... YOU FUCKIN..." The only reply he recieved was the cold mechanical whirr of the camera in the corner turning away from the wolf and towards the direction of the bear.

The wolf froze as he heard a particularly loud growl from behind him and the scream of metal being wrenched apart. Tears start to distort the edge of his vision as the clang of metal hitting the ground echoes throughout the room along with the sound of heavy footsteps. The wolf sagged agaisnt the door. He'd been set up. He'd always known... but he had snapped at the glimmer of hope the wardens had dangled in front of him like a fool.

The room suddenly went dark as the sound of the lightbulb's glass tinkled against the ground. The wolf turned around in the absolute darkness and began to growl, trying to place the bear but the room was silent now.

The camera clicked and whirred as it turned on its nightvision, the wolf whipping his head around from side to side in the dark, trying to sense the bear. It zoomed as the bear slammed a fist into the wolf's chest, pinning the lupine against the wall. It took photos of the wolf's snapped spine as the bear whipped the canine into a devastating backbreaker. It recorded the howls of agony as the bear stomped Paul's chest into the ground. It whirred as it watched the bear finally snap the whimpering wolf's neck, the bear breathing heavily as he turned his attention to the camera.

Dropping the wolf's lifeless carcass to the ground, Garr slowly walked up to the camera and grinned sadistically into its lens. "...Any more questions...?"
