New story soon mayhaps?
Posted 10 years agoSo a few days back I got pissed off and had a bad day and felt like crap. I also felt like crap the next day and was like "Fluff it, I am bored i feel worthless I am just going to do something stupid" So I opened up a command prompt with win+r and typing CMD then ran the command "copy con write.txt" and typed out the following:
Bleh, what should i do, i don't really know, i don't really feel like doing anything, nor that i could even if i wanted to.
I honestly don't feel like myself right now. I want to do something but i have no idea what, maybe i will try just some random writing exercise, why not...
After which i did in fact start to write something. I got about 3 paragraphs in before i saved it and went back to touch it up some. The copy con thing meant i had to manually break my lines and also once i did i could not go back and fix them, so it was interesting to write like that. I then switched to using Notepad++ wanting to keep with this using geeky tools to write a sci-fi based story thing i had going on. I did nearly want to throw up when i though i lost the file when NP++ crashed and zeroed out the file but luckily it had a back-up save, (and again when it crashed with one new line added, which would have not been that bad a loss compared to about 2 additional paragraphs). Ironically I think the issue might be the autosave plugin, which is both hilarious and sad. Any who, the thing is 8 paragraphs, making it most likely one of the longest things i have done, Pretty sure that contest entry was like 5 at the most.
Well anyways, I am getting closer to finishing it, but kinda just working on it as i get ideas, it should eventually be posted sometime before 2016, but who knows, I am rather lazy and SOV5 is taking for freaking ever (just really really not felt inspired enough to finish the part i need to get SOV5 out and I dislike pushing junk out). Also my super top secret story projects are going okay, but those are dirty little experiments and likely going to take a while because i am not good with the dirty yet, also unlike this experiment the project stories have that old SOV "link is a lazy bum and following a template" feel to them. The experiment is more me free styling (Yo!) and attempting to avoid making about 100 writing mistakes, Not counting spelling, that would just be unfair to me.
But yes, apparently minor existential crises for rouses mean mildly pornographic fetish fuel stories for my lovely followers. So umm... yeah... I am still weird.
Also darn it, the "write.txt" name with file extension thing is making me think of that genre of creepypastas. Why do these things happen to me?

Birthday, Open Maw Cafe, and such
Posted 10 years agoWell okay, 24 now. After 7 months or so searching i finally got a job at Burger King making burgers and burning my hands, but hey, i get paid so that is awesome.
Now a days the rouse admins for a Skype vore group called Open Maw Cafe, were people eat people and i make sure that keeps on happening. It is interesting~
Got my first real IM flood on my 24th, that was cool. I hope you guys have not minded my year or so of silence, after failing to graduate college and looking for a job i really did not feel like posting much.

Tentative title: SOV Book 2 Style Story Experiment (B2SSE)
Premise: You guys ask me to write something SOV style and I do, I bit the ideas I like and make them into free of charge, low fluff, vore filled goodness. OCs and Copyrighted characters allowed as long as it would be covered under the scope of fanwork.
Tentative title: TFCDM and TFCDS (Tales for Consumers Digest mild/spicy)
Premise: I write the vore stories, I offer them up for approval. Ibribe Roco and Stank with things hope they get accepted. You buy the mag, you enjoy the mag. I get a bit of money and don't feel like I am overcharging for my stuff. And people not reading this learn who I am and I dunno, bitch at me to write more vores.
Tentatice title: Pay (almost) whatever, I don't care, I will write (maybe draw) you things (PWIDCIWWYT)

Posted 12 years agoJust wanted to let you know that since Fangcon is basically in my back yard this year I plan on attending, Heck by catching a ride with a good furry friend and then staying and eating on campus it will not be that expensive to go (just have to pay the friend for gas and might have to buy a cheap meal on campus depending on the time). If Knoxville, Tennessee is not to far of a drive and you don't mind a relatively new con you should swing on by. It should be fun. The theme is the big top (circus).

Oh yeah, I lied about having the conbadge when I posted that image. I was still waiting for it as it turned out it got into
blondevelvet's "AC Pickup" folder. That means that the badge has gone to AC before I have and also has the same number of cons under it's belt. I did get it in the mail a while back and it looks great in person. If you have the cash and want a picture of your characters big ol' maw to wear about get one from blondevelvet (or one of the other available commision types).

Anyways, been busy with school and being just a plain old lazy bum. BUT I am going to try and buckle down and finish SOV5 and you know what... Screw the original plan thing i made. I have just not be able to finish that darn 3rd part (anatomically correct Cow Vore is a pain in the rump) so i am going going to toss in some of a fan request from Writing.com. So yeah, the 3rd story of SOV5 was an request from a fan. Feel free to send those and if I like the idea I might make it happen. Also might look into saying Fluff it and try to allow people to commission their own SOVs and a decent price (I do mean decent... have you SEEN how frugal I am?).
Other then that... Well like most everyone with exposure to the Sillyium skunkubusious (the common
min) I have a strange attraction to his character Riasa despite the fact she is basically just him with tits (well female tits, that fatskunk can get some major moobs if ya feed him right). What do Min tittes have to do with anything you ask? Well i got off my lazy arse and did a neat little bust badge thing of her and was thinking again I would not mind doing those for a very decent price. If nothing else their will be more Riasa on FA and that is a good thing. There may be a framework of a fan story on my computer to but dunno
What is with all this decent price stuff? I wanna try my hand at doing art for cash.
On a more geeky side I am learning a bit more C++ and might be able to get some more of Muffin Quest and the Mingine running. Don't hold me to that though.
As for Openfur, Sorry it has been so dead but trying to balance it and school makes me a cranky rouse and cranky rouses are no fun. it is not DEAD per say. it is on Hiatus till I have patience to deal with it or someone else takes over the day to day stuff and I resume what I used to do.
Finally remember CreatureS? That was the furry linux thing

What am I getting at, CreatureS had a very early stage base linux (I am talking CLI with NO GUI or networking) made before the merger that formed Openfur. It is NOT NOT NOT in any way a distro you should wipe off your current OS to use, it is more just kind of a neat little piece of history. Anywho, I have been toying with trying to get it to work in a VM without chrooting into it and then plan to do some basic BLFS (the 6.7 version if possible to keep with the base) and with permission from 
theyain maybe release it for to geekier of you guy's to play around with. Really the only truely interesting thing about it is that I compiled it and when you do "uname -a" it says it is CreatureS. I sure it has some furry linux geek hipster value or something. *shrugs*
Oh and if you play on Salty's tekkit server, I plan to try and start getting on every once in a while. I fear my absence might have let
eyeofcalamity's science go without any magic to counter act it... or maybe not.

Oh yeah, New character: Demonlink. He is what happens when you take Rex's seductive personality, Link's fluffy other shell, and mutate them with a bit of demonic power siphoned from min (don't ask me how, it is not a pretty process. Also don't ask Min because I kinda did it while he was asleep and he doesn't exactly KNOW I did it) to give him some red eyes (standard demon issue), horn nubs (not a full demon yet... D'awww), and the ability to summon those back tentacles (For... umm... tentacle stuff). Keep away from him.

Oh yeah, New character: Demonlink. He is what happens when you take Rex's seductive personality, Link's fluffy other shell, and mutate them with a bit of demonic power siphoned from
min (don't ask me how, it is not a pretty process. Also don't ask Min because I kinda did it while he was asleep and he doesn't exactly KNOW I did it) to give him some red eyes (standard demon issue), horn nubs (not a full demon yet... D'awww), and the ability to summon those back tentacles (For... umm... tentacle stuff). Keep away from him.Achievement Get: Survived Link's long pointless journal!

Where is Stories of vore 5?
Posted 13 years agoIt is coming... I am having writer's block on the 3 part which is set to be more detailed than stuff with that pred type normally is (hint: i have to write for a 4 part stomach). Pile on chronic procrastination, Homework out the wazoo near daily, and the fact i have some gifts i owe that i also want to get done. But if i have some time i will try and get it out by the end of september or earlier.

Vore Castle: Likely cancelled due to being a pain in my butt to set up and i don't have the funds or sway to get you guys any good prizes anywho. Might team up with another artist in the future to bring it back. Besides, the story part of it relied on me being able to draw humans (which I just can't at this skill level) and find a way to balance it so there is actually a chance for someone to win against a big name or popular opponent.
Skit's art trade piece: Working on that right now

Silent's epic saga thing: Kinda working on that every now and then
Secret rule 34 project: not really working on that.

First i am thinking of trying to do holiday stories much like
jagkitty does. Simply let me know you want to be in one and i will enter your name into a random name picker i will attempt to code.
If anyone is interested i will have a 5 couples slots open for a valentines day story and one spot open if someone wants to be myDinner Date. So talk with your favorite prey (or pred if you are prey) and comment or note with both of your names. if only 5 couples or less enter they will all get in, if more enter i will run the random name picker. I will do the drawing and start working on the story on the 31th. Setting will be the linkux castle. Comment or note for more info too.
The second thing is i am thing about doing extremely cheap commissions... but as i tend to under value my work i want you guys to help me pick a base fee. My work should provide a decent example of what i can do, but some of it is a tad out of date. How much would you pay for your on Stories of Vore Volume or one of my headshots?
Let's see how much you value me as an artist, just doing this ATM to have money to spend to try and save other money up for going an extra half a semester to finish my degree in 2014. If any of you say $0.01 USD, i will eat you in a non descriptive one liner.
On that note all prices will be USD only, likely via paypal so i will slap on a paypal fee to, must enough so that if i charge $1.00 i will get $1.00. I can not offer an option where if i charge $1.00 USD it is also 1 Euro or 1 Yen and so on as that means some people will pay Less for my stuff and some people will pay more. So it is all in USD if that is like 0.79 Euros then great if that is 76.90 Yen then i am sorry but that is my price.
Also all stories will be in English as that is the keyboard i have and i only know very little Spanish.
I will ask your permission before posting and would like to use CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 licensing (see: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2643153/) if you don't mind, if you do i will use whatever license you recommend or just the default for FA. Please note that the CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 does not give people the right to your character, only the right to tweak the commissioned work as long as the commissioner and I get credit, money is not made off of it, and they are willing to use the same licenses so someone can't just steal it, change a word, and copyright it.

Art Licence switch
Posted 14 years agoI think am going to switch all my work and characters to CC-BY-NC-SA 3.0 both because I feel that this suits what i believe AND as part of an effort to raise adaptation of Creative Commons licencing in the fandom. CC or Copyleft is not waiving your legal rights, it is freeing others to spread and expand on your art as you see fit
CC is creative commons, an alternative licensing format.
BY mean give me credit when you copy, share, remix, or otherwise use anything I made.
NC means Non-commercial, if you want to make money off of this contact me, i will only ask for a royalty based on what percent of the original work is used.
SA means Share Alike, You must release your works under the same licences THOUGH if you would like to release it as just CC-BY-SA 3.0 or some other version just ask me.

Openfur needs your Help
Posted 14 years agoHello, my name is linkthegamer, the new figurehead of Openfur, the fusion of the Ufurmix (Ubuntu re-theme) project and the CreatureS (Linux distro build from scratch) project (i was assistant project manager there by the way.).
Well the merger has been finalized and i posted my first newgroup email as acting figurehead, but there is a problem we have yet to solve, and when need your help.
Our linux distro needs a name!
Since neither Ubuntu furry remix nor Creature System fit the project any more we need you, the humble furry fans of tux, to use the power of crowd sourcing.
A few things to note:
- Recommended: avoid OS in the name, this has been shown to ruffle some fathers
- Recommended: avoid Linux in the name, we all know it's linux, think ubuntu not ubuntu linux
- Required: Don't bitch about the gnu/linux argument in the comments... that is non-important right now
- Required: Keep it clean, no yiffyfurOS post.
Now on to some things about this system:
- Ubuntu based
- Focus on furries
- Gnome (2.X) DE (derivatives may follow later)
One very important last note, this is NOT a contest, if none of the names work well with a majority of the team we will not just "draw one out of a hat" we want the name to be the perfect fit, not something we just randomly choose.
That said please submit whatever you can think of, maybe you might think it is not likely to be considered but it turns out the whole team loves it.
Please help us note have to call the linux "The openfur linux project" for longer then we have to.
