So Monday night I made the mistake of putting a full large glass of water next to my mac book. The inevitable happened. I'm currently unable to draw digitally until I either get my computer fixed or buy a new one. This could take weeks or months if I have to save up for awhile.

I've already contacted all my commissioners who I still owe art to, but it will be awhile until I can take on any commissions. My guess is that it will be at the beginning of next year.

Just really bummed about the whole thing. I just have to play it by ear.

HELLO! Decided to post an update on stuff that's going on.

Moved!
We moved! Yep. The house is still coming together but we had to get rid of a lot of our storage from the last place so we have so many boxes full of our stuff still. Love the new place. So much less stress from shitty neighbors and front office people.

Medical Probs
On another note. I mentioned it before but it's been a little while and there are some updates. I'm having some very weird medical issues that my doctor can't seem to pinpoint where the problem is. A main thing I've been trying to deal with is the fatigue I'm having (not anemic). It's been brutal and I work a full time job on top of art. So I've been having trouble focusing.

I've done some blood work and certain things are showing up unusual. (Not Cancer to our knowledge) I don't have many details on it, but he's thinking it's something to do with my kidneys. I'm going in for an MRI this Saturday, and should have the results back soon. From there if he finds anything we'll discuss treatment options or possibly some surgeries I'll need.

For now I'm just kinda floating along. Doing my every day thing. But I have a serious anxiety attached to medical problems so I'm just trying to keep chill and not let it bother me.

Commissions
That being said I'm still working on commissions even with how I've been feeling. I don't want to stop since art is really such a huge escape for me. It's my passion and it really just keeps me sane. My problem is that my turn around is very slow. I had the move then the con right after I took this latest batch, but It's still looking like at least a month to get pieces out.

So I thank everyone who supports me and is patiently waiting for pieces. Everything you buy from me helps me not only finically but emotionally as well. Being able to draw for people really brings me so much joy and it's helping in these tough times to be able to sit down and just draw. Thanks so much.

I should have wrote this a little sooner, but I thought I'd be alright and keep up my pace.
March is sort of a big month for me. My birthday is Monday, but I have jury duty on that day.

Then we're finally attempting to move apartments for the first time in 3 years. It's been such a flippen pain cause of all the fees and just trying to find a move in date. We're using our whole tax return just on our move.

So all my free time is taken up with searching for a place to live.

I'm also dealing with a lot of emotions at the moment. 2016 was a hard year and it seems like things haven't gotten much better. I'm trying really hard to be optimistic but I'm just really exhausted. Just a ton of health issues and having to pay for them with money I don't have. Still mourning my Aunt and the wake she left behind has cause a ton of issues for my family. And most recently I've had a serious speed bump in a friendship that hurt me deeply. All of this has brought me to a place I never really thought I'd be back to. I haven't been this depressed in a very long time.

FWA was going to be kinda my little light at the end of the shitty tunnel but that is now looking sorta dim.

So all in all my turn around time is going to be very slow. I know some of you have been waiting for a little while on art. I'll try my hardest to get them done in a reasonable time. I wont be taking on any new commissions of course until I've finished this round.

Sorry for the rant. Sorry for the bummer journal. I just wanted to explain why I'll be quiet here next month until after FWA.

I had a huge thing written out, but it's just not worth it to explain everything. I've got a lot of health issues that popped up all of the sudden and it's been freaking exhausting. I do want to say that it's not 'life threatening' and totally not the end of the world. It's just been a lot to deal with.

So it's just another thing to add to me being sorta inactive, and slower on commissions. I've almost finished my queue so I plan to open again to try and help with the medical expenses.

I was able to book a flight thanks to some very generous offers. I can't begin to thank you guys. I'm so happy I can see my family in this time of need. Thank you thank you.

I just got word that my great grandmother passed away late last night. I'm having a hard time with losing my aunt, and now I've lost another great woman in my life. Two deaths in the same week... I just can't really deal with all this right now.

I really just want and need to be with my family right now. I've spoken with my job and they're willing to give me two days of bereavement pay. I'm trying to look at flights but they're all ridiculous because of the holidays, and how last minute this is.

I don't normally ask for help in these situations, but there is no way I can get there for their funerals with out help. Not after spending so much on medical bills for my dog last week. Flights are looking like $250-$400 right now. Since work is covered that's really all I would need help with. I wont know which flight I can take until my parents get back to me on times they could pick me up.

I'd like to take on commissions but I just don't know when I'll be able to get back to drawing after all of this. I have a few things still to finish on my queue as well so I just don't want to pack on to that list.

Update on price. Flights are all around $400 right now. Even with bereavement prices. So believe me when I say anything helps.

Also. This is a long shot, but I'm just wondering if anyone lives in central Texas near Austin or San Antonio. It might be easier on my parents if I could just get a ride from the air port, and possibly back to it when I leave. Please let me know if you might be able to pick me up. I know they can do it, but I'm trying to make it a little easier on them.


TL;DR: I've had two deaths in the family in the last 3 days. I'm asking for help to pay for my flight there, and possibly for a ride from the airport.

I lost my aunt today. Someone I was dearly close to. I love her so much. Im having a hard time coming to terms with this loss. Please be patient with me. I don't know when I'll be ready to work again.

The earlier this week I found out that my aunt on my mothers side fell into a coma due to liver failure. There is a lot more detail wise that I'm not able to discuss, but there isn't much we can do for it. It's a waiting game. I currently live in FL while all of my family is in TX. There is no possible way I can make up the funds to go see them.

Early on Thanksgiving morning we were in bed sleeping when our dog Zini started convulsing and had what turned out to be a seizure. She had another one 3 hours later, and we were at the emergency vet for half of the day. We brought her in to our vet to get appropriate testing the next day. We're now waiting on the results. She's on 24hr seizure watch. Good news though she hasn't had one since.

Needless to say the stress from my aunt and combined stress from my baby getting sick have completely wrecked me emotionally. I also made the decision to cancel my plans for MFF so that I could put my money towards the vet bills.

I am deeply heart broken by the pain my family is going through. All while I am emotionally shattered at the idea of not seeing my friends. while putting them out with having to find ways to accommodate the space I left.

All I ask is for everyone's patience. I'm not good with things like this. I have a hard time bringing myself back to reality. I'm so thankful for my friends who are already making my days easier. I'm trying to be strong, but I'm just not good at it.
