Upcoming Game Update & BlueSky

Although I've been terrible about posting on socials, I've been active on Patreon and working hard on Changeling Tale all year polishing up just about every part of the game. We hope to release the game update next month along with some new bonus content as a reward for finding the game's Easter Eggs! I'll post more details soon, as well as the other art I've done over the last year. Stay tuned!
With all the renewed hype for BlueSky, here's a heads up that I have a handle there as well! I post the same things there as I do here, so feel free to follow on whichever platform you prefer!

Privacy Feature Now Accessible from the Steam Client
Posted a year agoJust wanted to give everyone a heads up that the Steam Privacy Feature is now on the public Steam client! Hiding games (like Changeling Tale!) that you don't want your friends to see is now easier than ever! In the client, simply go to the "Manage" submenu on the game itself and mark it as "private."
I posted an image that shows the menu here!
Hopefully that eases people's minds who are concerned about adding NSFW games like ours to their libraries :D
In other news, Changeling Tale v1.0.2 is now live! The patch includes game improvements and fixes as well as some freshly polished art. If you' haven't yet played the game, now's a great time to check it out!

🎉 CHANGELING TALE 18+ Visual Novel RELEASED! 🎉

Launch Day was a wild ride! Having pulled an all-nighter with watsup in true game dev fashion to get everything ready before going live, I was already exhausted when it came time to push the big green button on Steam. But watching all the fans in our Discord server counting down, and the explosion of hype after Changeling Tale went live made it all worth it!
To all you followers and supporters out there: you all ROCK! Big time! I can't thank you enough for making all this possible, and I'm so glad you're as excited as I am to see Changeling Tale released!
Knock on wood, save for an Android installation issue that we were able to solve pretty quickly, launch went off without a hitch. The game's being received well judging from reviews on Steam and feedback on Discord, and it's been an absolutely terrific way to close out 2023!
There's still lots of work to do to fix minor bugs and distribute keys to our Patreon supporters, but once we're on the other side of that, we're excited to start the next chapter in Changeling Tale's development! Keep an eye out for news in 2024! Malcolm will return ; )

OCTOBER 5th @ 8PM EDT - A Live Reading by Voice Actor Sean Chiplock
You may not recognize the name, but you may well have heard the voice! Sean Chiplock prolifically voices characters in the English versions of Japanese games and anime, including Revali in Zelda Breath of the Wild, Subaru Natsuki in Re:Zero, Diluc Ragnvindr in Genshin Impact, and many more ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Chiplock ). On Tuesday Sean will be reading select scenes from Changeling Tale! Be sure to stick around afterward for the Developer AMA!

Marion's Chapter 3 Beta Out & Changeling Tale @ ANE
Posted 6 years agoHey guys! Just a couple quick announcements today-- Marion's Chapter 3 was released earlier this month and is in beta, and we hope to have it released to all patrons next month. If that's too long, beta tester tier supporters can play it right now, here!
Alternatively, if you're in the New England area, you can also play the current Beta build at Anthro New England next week at our game booth! Woohoo!
Some of the Changeling Tale team will be there too, so come play the game and say hi! We'll be handing out bookmarks, flyers, and raffling off a really cool banner of a Changeling Tale themed piece done by
Fustang.We'll also be giving three(!) panels during the convention:
- Make Your Own Visual Novel
- Shapeshifters in Celtic Mythology
- How to Depict Transformation in Art

Changeling Tale: An 18+ TF Visual Novel
It's the inaugural game for my Transformation-Themed Games Patreon, and will also be the first TF-focused Visual Novel ever made (what an enormous gap that needs filling, right?)!

Well, the response has been overwhelming! In just one day, the campaign has already soared past 3 funding goals. It's been one of the most humbling days of my life, and I want to thank all of you following me here and supporting my creative endeavors. It's hard to believe that just a year ago I was twiddling my life away at a boring desk job. Getting to do this full time is a dream come true, and I hope that I can give back some of that happiness through the art and games I make!

If anybody is interested, a friend of mine is offering reasonable 3D commissions like this one to help pay for food and rent! It feels like 3D art is finally crossing into the realm of affordable and accessible for the furry genre. Can't wait to see it really take off!
Also has anybody checked out the new communities feature on Picarto? If you click "All Communities" you might recognize the banner :3 Apparently a developer visited watsup's stream and asked to use it. Pretty cool huh? :D
Wat and I are hard at work on Project Bread, our next collab project. Don't forget WIP sneak peeks get posted on Twitter or Tumblr now and then, so consider following me there if you're interested!

Looks like the Int'l Anthro Research Project has published their findings from the past few years of their research! There's some pretty interesting stuff in there, not just about the community as a whole but about subgroups like us artists too. Very enlightening, if you've an interest in such things ^^ Best of all, it's free and publicly available!

freelancemanga, put out a call for fanart for an artbook he was compiling, and it looks like it's finally coming together... if it gets funded!
