Internet Delay
Posted a week agoI am actually getting through my commissions very quickly! Much to my own surprise. YAY!
Unfortunately there is a minor delay. We finally left the Airbnb we’ve been at and are officially in my new apartment.
Our things don’t arrive until the 7th. Thanks to those filling the commissions slots we were able to buy groceries, a few necessary household items to get by like a pot and pan and TP as well as food for our pets!
Our internet service will be turned on Sept 10th so I’ll probably be uploading everything in one day that’s finished (I update the commission journal daily if there are any changes).

Again we are on the road and will be sharing a computer to draw with. I moved from Oregon to South Dakota and the journey has eaten our funds to near nothing. I don’t get paid until August 31st so I’m trying to raise money just to get by until then. If you can’t pay right away please don’t take a slot as I need this quickly.
It’s strictly being used for food and lodging as well as a small bag of kibble for my dog. That’s why I only need 6 slots filled.

Moving!
Posted a month agoHey everyone,
I'm typing this from a borrowed computer. A few updates. I know I know my page has been boring and quiet.
1.) My computer fried. That's why I haven't posted art. I plan to have a new one in September
2.) I am moving 4 states over from where I am now, August 20th. Because of this I am putting money into the move for now.
3.) What's coming up next? I have two owed art pieces and other than that I'm going to be drawing whatever I feel like and generally just make a generic commission and art trade TOS. After it's made I'll accept trades and commissions on an interest basis. Yes, meaning if the prompt sounds like something I want to draw I'll draw it and if it doesn't I won't. This is because I mostly want to do art for me but sometimes I think drawing other peoples ideas or characters is fun and if I'm in the mood for it I will.
4.) Has anyone ever moved with felines in the car? Any advice? My roommate and I are moving with 1 dog and 2 cats. We have a few things planned but I feel like it's gonna be rough.
5.) Comment what kind of vore, gore, or other theme pokemon related art has been your favorite here on my page if you viewed this journal!

A Fix
Posted 2 months agoSince I can't figure otu a fix for my recently completed blurry Items I am taking time today to trace over them with new lines to recolor and try again. Super frustrated as these pieces took me forever to finish T_T but thats my goal of the day. So Ears and Neptune, thank you for your patience. I am so freaking sorry
Drawing Continues
Posted 2 months agoI will be drawing over the next four days as my replacement cord my cats chewed finally arrived. Thank you all for our patience while I had to wait to finished owed work. It will ALL be done before Monday. Anything owed is going to be full caught up on. Phew Im just happy to be able to draw again T_T

Posted 3 months agoEither my 10 month old or 2.5 year old Sphynx chewed up my 3in1 tablet cord and I had to order another from XP Pen last night. I'll get it sometime next week but due to the halt in ability to draw for now I am offering a refund for any owed art. Too Many Notes part 2
Posted 3 months agoDue to an increase of back to back notes and replies I am having trouble sifting through final drafts/decisions on comms. If you have a comm waiting that has already been paid please resubmit your commission request in one singular note. I am working on comms all day today and tomorrow as well as throughout my work week to get them done. All comms will be completed before the end of june. Thank oyu.

You can claim a limit of X2 slots for a 1 v 1 Pokemon in the Wild piece. This means Pokemon hunting Pokemon or battling in the wild as they would be expected to be doing.
Examples:
-A Serviper vs a Zangoose fighting
-Ekans swallowing the eggs of Pigeotto or Spearow
-Mandibuzz hunting a cubone
Things like that and including a single Pokemon move that would make sense helps. These are simple single focus pictures. I will not be layering various injuries. (So if there are cut type wounds I won’t also add bruises, and broken bones, AND shredded fur, AND decapitation, AND brain splatter etc etc.
If it seems like something that is plausible for pokemon in the wild I’d love to hear your idea. Something not plausible might be Furret hunting Yveltal or Bulbasaur taking down Xerneas (???). But prey fighting back or getting an upper hand is feasible.

As such I will be running a Special all day that can ONLY be claimed that day. There will only be 10 slots for this (2 multi-claim limit until 5 pm PST. If all slots aren't taken you can take more).
It will be going back to Pokemon in the Wild. Pokemon vs Pokemon. It can be a Pokemon hunting prey, prey taking down a predator, Pokemon battle (using a pokemon move of your choice), or this time a Pokemon falling into a trap.
Each picture can have 1 or 2 Pokemon in it.
These will cost JUST $11 a piece for the B-day special.
I will put up a more cohesive Journal day of where you can claim. No claims can be made now. But feel free to ask any questions below and thanks!

Posted 5 months agoHey everyone! I wanted to give a quick update for what is to come. I will be closed for most commissions outside of predetermined themes listed below because it's currently all I can spare time for...see my previous journal for details.
Butcher The Bird Slots for the remaining birds will open again around April 10th
Break the Bug The newest series similar to Butcher the Bird and Finish the Fox will be added given we are now in Spring where bugs are waking up again. It will be introduced with all new extermination tools and methods for you to choose from. A few of the bugs featured will be: Scolipede, Wimpod, Durant and 9 more!
You can pay an extra $15 fee toward any Bug marked with a STAR to get an alternative version that can only show up on my alt account. IYKYK.
Adopts
Finally I am hoping to put up some adopts of hybrids, I've been practicing trying to get better at making them so we will see. I will say it's hybrids for Leafeon or Lopunny. All adopters will be put into a drawing for a free picture for their adopt in an Eat or Be Eaten (winners choice) scenario.
Holds will/can begin upon submission of Event Artwork posting. Stay tuned!

Overworked
Posted 5 months agoI now have 2 jobs. One is at an arts and crafts store going out of business and I work there 20-25 hours in the middle of the day. The other is an overnight merchandising job from 8pm - 6 am 4 days a week.
That is why you all haven't seen me do updates. I am sorry about that. In addition to exhaustion I learned my dog "might" have cancer and I took these two jobs to gain money faster to remove the mass responsible while it's small (and hopefully isolated). The accounts not dead I'm just not out of the woods yet. Things will relax once the first job I have goes out of business and I can focus on just the other and my dog gets the surgery which isn't scheduled until may.
I hope everyone else is doing well. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

I am seeking to do some study on getting better and drawing these things so I can stylize them and become more consistent with how I draw them. For that reason commission requests much feature, highlight, or display focus on one of these items.

I will be finishing my remaining commissions this month. Once February hits the January commissions will be closed so if you want one of the two remaining slots be sure to let me know. Commissions WILL NOT be open in February as I am going to be practicing backgrounds, comic strips, and lighting techniques in February and thus posting some experimental things.
Comics
I am experimenting with attempting comics because I think they will better illustrate the "Pokemon in the Wild" themes I have always actually wanted my page to be about. I also hope to open comics up for commissions in the future as well. But this is contingent on their reception and whether or not I get engagement in the comments. It won't impact whether or not I make comics for myself, but it will influence whether or not I offer them because without that kind of feedback I don't know what you, my watchers and clients, want.
Pets
NOEL: My Service Dog will be 7 in March. This means I will be getting a new one soon to start training. It takes about 2 years to train making her 9 when the next dog is fully trained. She'll likely be retired by 8 but it's really up to her. The candidates of breed are : Doberman, Giant Schnauzer, or a Sight Hound (researching breeds).
MADAM MIM: The new kitten is thriving and very very assertive about food. Even ours, always begging for more.She can be super sweet and super obnoxious but is a happy and healthy baby.
JAFAR: I feel like he is a little depressed or bored at times. I'm trying to come up with new forms of entertainment outside regular cat toys, trees, and puzzles. Anyone have anying DIY enrichment ideas? It's too cold to walk him or put him in the pet stroller.

I am working on coming up with a permanent price sheet. Up until now it's fluctuated based on a few factors.
Number of characters, complexity of characters, complexity of image wanted, props, background, level of gore/macabre, flat vs color, time it takes to create... etc. I am rather new to all this only a year in now and trying to establish myself. I'm trying to improve my art and that takes a lot of experimentation. But I think this year I will finally be at a place that I can make a permanent price sheet.What kinds of things would you hope to see offered on it?

Taking a Break
Posted 8 months agoI won't be posting any other Commissions this week or next week.
Gonna take a bit of a break from Comms to work on some of my projects and then resume.
I only have two left but I've got to be in the head space to do them and I still will fall under the promised time frame. I just want to break it up a bit because lately my Gallery is mostly Commissions and nothing of my own.
February will have no commissions. It will be REQUESTS only in a journal. (Do not post ideas on this journal right now please) So this is an early heads up to start thinking about ideas because if I like yours I will be drawing it. For free and yes it will be yours to keep and you will get the original file(s).

Reason for Price increase:
1.) The state I live in within the US we have a 14% allowance for landlords that they are allowed to increase rental prices by. Our rent is $1618 for 2b 1bth. (water, garbage, sewage elec, parking, internet seperate) A 14% increase means they can increase it this year by $224. Gross right?
2.) I am job hunting and as such will need to limit the amount of commissions I'm willing to take each month
3.) I am attempting to move out of this overpriced State to a more affordable one
4.) It's what I feel my art is currently worth
5.) I still also have my own projects I want to work on <3

I will be doing a collaboration with another artist to make a few Christmas themed Pokémon like I did last year. If you'd like to adopt any keep an eye out.
There is also a surprise coming up but I can't talk about it of course. Other than that I will be drawing any commission requests due for January as well as practicing the new additions to my Gallery MLP and Hollow Knight that I will begin submitting regularly alongside Pokémon next year.
