it occurred to me some time ago that my collection of unfinished sketches, rough drafts, and works in progress was amassing quite heavily. many of these projects I sadly don't know if I'll ever pick back up again, due to lack of time/energy/motivation/etc.
so, since a lot of them have never been shared, I've decided to clean out some old folders by posting a bunch of WIPs this week!
things are still. pretty miserable on my end. and this week is going to be rough and tiring. so it'll be nice to have this to focus on.
I'll be posting them to my main gallery for now, and will likely be moved to scraps in the future.
also, if anyone ends up really liking any of these and would be willing to sponsor me to finish lining/coloring it, please reach out! I would be willing to take on a few, it might be a while until I have time to get to it because I am always working on five dozens projects at once, but the option is definitely There.

So... it's been a while.
2022 has been incredibly awful for me.
I don't want to get too into the depressing details. I know why folks visit this page, and it's not to hear the sob story of my life. Needless to say, I've lost a lot. I lost my home, being forced to move back with my parents, my horrid parents who have always mistreated me. I lost most of my friends, many of them purposely cutting me out of their life, because I'm a shitty person who's depressing to be around. I lost my pet ferret, my angel, my sweet, beloved, best friend, and I have missed her every single day. I've lost so many other cherished pets.
Things are very bad for me. They continue to be very bad. This past week had me spiraling into a pretty dark place. I cannot foresee things improving on my end; my lot in life is, apparently, abject misery interspersed with brief periods of occasional contentment until the day when I finally blessedly end myself. It is what it is.
One of the only good things throughout this is that I cut social media almost completely out of my life, and the positive results from that have been pretty much all I've had to live for. I really, really want to emphasize this: if my words resonate at all with you, please consider a social media cleanse. It is blissful to not worry about views and clicks and likes, to remain ignorant of online discourse, to spend time reading, creating, exploring, instead of scrolling through trash opinions and unfunny posts and incessant capitalistic advertisements. Social media is brain poison. It really is. And I don't think as many people realize how dangerous an addiction it is.
If you can use it healthily... good for you. There are healthy ways to engage with this platform, for sure. The majority of people, in my humble opinion, do not.
I hope to return to a phase of posting art again soon. My ire with the internet aside, I do enjoy sharing my art, because, unfortunately, nothing will stop me from making it, and by god if I have to live with my creations I sure as hell will make them everyone else's problem, too.
That being said, I doubt I will engage with the more insipid and perfunctory aspects of social media. Regular replies, checking activity, and browsing idly will likely not happen for a long time, if ever again.
For that matter, I'm sad to say that I will no longer be accepting any commissions.
All outstanding commission inquiries will be resolved when it's possible for me to do so. For those who have been waiting, I'm deeply sorry about the delay, I hope it won't be much longer.
Even though I really do enjoy commissioned work, I have too many of my own original ideas I want to focus on instead, not enough time, and the payout simply wasn't worth it. Most artists undercharge their work; I need to emphasize that I really, really undercharge mine. I end up charging $40 for a piece that took 18 hours to make. My style of work is incredibly intensive, detail-heavy and anatomically-focused, it takes lots of time and editing.
I would love to take more commissions again, eventually, but for now it's just not happening. Once my queue items are complete then I'm done.
If you would like to support me, please please please subscribe on my fanbox! SO MUCH of my recent work that hasn't been posted publicly yet is on there. Subscribers will legitimately be getting a crapton of art, months and months in advance, as well as a bunch of WIPs and updates.
If you can't subscribe, please consider tipping on ko-fi if I post anything that gets you off! Like, I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I don't know how many orgasms out there my hands have been indirectly responsible before but god damnit I'm not getting reimbursed for nearly enough of them. Take every piece of art I've made that you've nutted to and multiply that by 10 and send me that dollar amount and it would be a start.
If neither of those work for you please comment if there's another venue that would work better, like if you choose to only use patreon or substar or whatever, I probably would tolerate posting to yet another platform if there's enough feedback. I know that paying nsfw is absolutely fucking awful these days and I'm so broke I'm desperate over here man. I'll take Western Union or cash in the mail, I'll do anything.
And the final order of business... considering recent events, twitter kinda sucks now, huh. I personally have not been on it in months, but watching it crash and burn from the outside is a big oof. Even though in past years twitter has been a burning pile of sewage I do recall when it was a fun website so it's sad to see this happen. Depending on how things shake out, I may still repost on there, but I doubt I will consider it my primary feed from now on.
I'm still trying to decide where I would like to move to for my new primary posting platform. Plain and simple... there aren't a lot of good options. Internet sucks these days, it's all gone to shit. Some considerations include:
--> tentatively, might be testing out tumblr again? "But Fuzz!" you cry, "isn't porn still banned there?" and the answer is... yes, kind of. Tumblr still forbids "visual depictions of sexual acts" BUT they've been getting a LOT more accommodating. I've always really liked tumblr, I've used it for over a decade just for fandom and personal stuff, so I don't mind jumping through a few extra hoops. So, if you use it, please give me a follow! It's a bit sparse right now but I will keep working at it when I have time.
--> I'm also going to be more active on pillowfort. confession: I don't really like pillowfort! I find it impossible to find other artists and they way they have it set up right now only benefits artists who already have a big following. But, so I've heard, they are making improvements. So, if you use it, please give me a follow!
--> I'm trying out itaku! So far not impressed (they took down a bunch of my art earlier today... sigh) but still open-minded. The gallery function is quite Good. Once again, if you use it, please give me a follow!
--> AND, finally, I think baraag may be my new Spot. mastodoon in general seems to be the big place to be, and baraag is famously-infamous for its... freedom. If baraag is too intense for you, understandable, but for those who use it, please give me a follow! (I may end up checking out other mastodon instances as well? we'll see)
All of this is so say I won't be leaving FA, but it's far from my ideal stomping ground, so updates will be more frequent elsewhere.

Thanks to everyone who's stuck through my hiatus, everyone who's ever supported me in general. I say this all the time but I can't express how much it means. i'll be posting art backlog from the past couple months, i know i have folks to get in touch with so i shall do so when the attention span permits... i apologize for messages i've left unanswered please understand i am super busy and have like 6000 accounts and am not always logged in on here lol
just an fyi i'll be changing up how i process my art workload, i've had my art underpriced for a while but didn't realize how bad it was until a couple months back when i realized i'm charging, effectively, ~$2/hr for my work ahahaaa.
so commissions are on hold until i've finished projects i still owe, and figured out how to handle em moving forward. if any other artists have suggestions... please let me know!!! i am very clueless and prone to taking on more work than i can handle rip

This isn't trying to pity-monger or act like a victim. I've been online for decades, I know I can't expect every interaction to be pleasant, and that a thick skin is necessary if you're going to post content.
I just want to draw some attention to how defeatist it can be when you're starting out as an artist, especially one of the NSFW sort. I don't have a big following, and oftentimes, these are the only sort of feedback I'll receive on a piece, and you can imagine how disheartening that is.
Please don't only leave comments for only the big famous artists with 40k followers. They will be fine, I promise. Online culture is shifting towards consuming media silently and dispassionately, and if it keeps in that direction, no one will want to make things anymore.

Posted 8 years agoI had to take a break from online things for a bit as I had a lot to deal with irl. I ended up losing my job due to illness and my financial situation hasn't been great and in between a lot of physical & mental issues it's been difficult to keep up with basic life things, let alone online feeds...
Things aren't entirely better and I still need to work on treatments and finding a new job but it's a bit more stable so I'm hoping I can hop back on furaffinity more! I always have yiffy garbage I need to share with the world, it's the only thing I am good for I guess
Anyways my activity still might be a bit sporadic depending on how things turn out, but I'll try to be on and reply to any messages that might have accumulated. I wanna get into the furry fandom so badly I'm just so shy at interacting and being brave enough to post my stuff x3;;;
