I've actually been here for a month now, but I think we're finally settled in enough to let people know! :>

I'm hoping to get to know the furs who live around this area if possible. I don't wanna be home-bound all the time like I was when I lived in Ohio x3 I quite miss the group I was in when I was in VA and I hope to find one just as welcoming and lovely as they were!!

So yeah, brief update on my life! Been going between states a lot. Moved out of Ohio in May and was in Florida for a few months, then New Jersey, and now here. Life has been pretty hectic since then, but it's finally, mostly, slowed down!!! Got a nice 9-5 job, and I'm living with and !!!! I'm a very lucky puppu uwu

I hope to get back into drawing sometime soon ;w; I know I haven't been drawing a lot lately, but now that we're pretty much settled, I can hopefully try and tap back into that groove.

I had a great time and met up with some good friends and had a blast! Saturday night I had a little TOO much fun when it came to drinking some homebrewed beer, but that's okay haha.

I spent a lot of time playing lupus in tabula at night, and it was really fun. :3 Though, it was also one of my biggest disappointments at the con because Alkali didn't host any of the games and that was what I was looking forward to the most when it came to playing :( oh well, it was still really fun!

I wish I spent more time around some people, but overall it was fun and I can't wait to do it again next year. At least, I hope I'm there next year! I'm sure I will somehow make it happen :3 Next year I think I will focus more time with hanging out with friends and stuff. Tbh, con stuff doesn't interest me as much as I thought it did at MFF. I just mostly really wanna see my friends and be around them.

It really sucks, because I've been suffering from an art block on and off. Hopefully, I can try an conquer it. I want to try and be more active on FA, and maybe that will kickstart my drive to draw if I see other peoples art more often???

So...... I went with just getting my car fixed. With how long it took them to do it and with another new problem arising, I regret not just buying another car :l

Anyways, they told me that my o2 sensors on the front of my car were out. I'm not entirely sure how important they are when it comes to being able to drive my car and not have iit die on me, but from my google searches they seem pretty important.

I can't seem to find anything to tell me how to replace my o2 sensors. I have a 1999 chrsyler concorde. I don't want to pay the extra $300 to replace it. It just.... doesn't seem worth it when I have no money.

Also... the check engine light was not on when I gave them my car. They checked "everything they could" to see if it wasn't their fault. I am really really skeptical, but I'm not car savvy at all. Can a blown head gasket cause them to fail? What could they have done to cause it? I'm not paying $300 because of something they possibly did.

Note: car is still in shop. I just don't have a way to get to it yet.

I'm only taking a few to be done in time for MFF. I know I shouldn't be going to a convention when I'm in the middle of dishing out almost 2K for my car, but this is a really important convention for me and I'd like to make some extra cash to help pay for it :) (And any remaining cash would certainly go to helping me pay for my car/bills!)

I have way too many things happening within the next two months haaah.
Work is only adding onto all of that. :S The dress-code for my particular position is changing to a "business casual contemporary" stlye rather than the black on black we usually wear.This means I have a lot of clothing options.

I am finished with all paid commissions! I feel so good about myself :D I can finally take up new work and get PAID, and this time I won't take up so much work in so little time. I also won't do so much FREE work again for a long while. What mostly killed me is that most of the commissions I did were not paid to me. It was all given to someone else (though, I wanted to! Those people needed it more than me at the time.) My motivation was a little killed haaah and I had so little free time.

But now things will be different.
I won't take up any new commissions quite yet. I actually have one in the works that I can finally focus on and do my best for. After that I hope to open up one or two slots at a time. Though... I may work on some personal before then too. I really need to do something for myself for once (:

However, I do not understand why this show garners so much hate. It's a show about FRIENDSHIP and it brings people together. It is a wholesome show and people are being hated on for loving the show.

The fact that some people are going so far as to say that those that watch the show should "grow the fuck up" disappoints me. Yes, it's a show geared toward little girls. What is so wrong with an adult person enjoying a cartoon show? The people raging about the banner and the show should really check themselves and realize how they're behaving.

Just my two cents. I just wish we'd all get along! I don't like some things, but I'm not going to hate on you for liking what I don't! Ah well~
