Lot of stuff happened this past year. Started trying out watercolors (and I love them), actually got a day job. Got onto medication for my various mental health issues and, generally speaking, my day-to-day life has been pretty mellow.

But, y'know, people change. More specifically, I feel as if this name doesn't really fit me much anymore. I'm still very much a follower of the god Loki, but it's not all there is to my identity.

Things would be easier if I could just change my name on here, but that isn't exactly an option here. So, I've been considering making a new account. I'd leave this one up so that everybody would still have access to my gallery, but I'd only be updating the new account.

Does that sound fair to you guys?

There is a lady I watch on Youtube named Angela Fehr who does the most beautiful of watercolor florals. She is currently doing a giveaway that includes a pallet loaded with watercolor paint (seriously, it's all artist grade paint), an expensive brush, as well as access to 8 watercolor classes.

Now for new commission possibilities! I recently became obsessed with the idea of using real mediums again, watercolors and color pencils. They have been so much fun to use, and I got a set of Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, as well as a pretty large set of prismacolor pencils.

I'm not entirely certain how people feel about real media commissions though, so I'm asking you, my watchers, what exactly you'd be interested in. I was planning on doing some mockups of both watercolor and color pencils to give you guys an idea of my skills are like in that arena, but I'm also open to suggestions.

It's my birthday today. And it's weird, 'cuz I'm now 30 and that's just really hard for my brain to take in sometimes. Like...I don't feel that old (who does, I suppose?) and I'm not depressed about it or anything. It's just a little strange, I guess!

But I'm taking the day off to celebrate going down the slope to delightful gray fur territory. Will be working on commissions properly again after!

Today is a truly historic day, because today is a day that the Supreme Court stood up for equal rights! I am absolutely thrilled!

Today is the Transgender Day of Visibility! To those that might not know, I'm a trans man myself and as such, today is a good day to talk about that.

My anxiety has been really bad the past...well fuck it, it's been bad for the past year or so. My depression has been hanging out as well, making it difficult to do even small things. But with the encouragement of both Spouse and Partner, I finally put in an application for a local coffee shop. This would be the first time I would be working at a "job" job since 2011.

So here's hoping. It'd be nice to have a little extra cash again.

I am less of a pervert than I thought!

Spent the last three-ish weeks at my parents house and honestly I had a very good time! I hadn't seen the majority of my family for about six years, so it was visit spent mostly talking (which I enjoyed). I also found that I have a lot more in common with my oldest sister than I thought! She's about 9 years older than me so we never really spent much time together, but on the trip down we were stuck in a car together for about 12 hours. Lots of time to get to know one another!

Also had another birthday. 29 now and not entirely certain that I feel like it. I'm so close to 30 now, but I mostly still kind of feel like a little kid. I guess that's pretty standard for most people but I can't say I'm terribly fond of the sensation!

So another year older, a time to look at what I've done and what I'd like to do. What I've done hasn't amounted to much I suppose, this year had been very hard on me. My depression came back with a vengeance, our cat passed away, I had to sell my car and the one I was borrowing's back suspension completely gave out. But good stuff has happened too. Spouse, Partner and I got the new apartment which is a very nice place. I started going out with Sir (though that also is a sad thing, since we have to be on a break right now due to his wife being needing some time to think). Spouse became Master, which is pretty exciting for me.

All in all, I'm hoping this year is better than last. I think it will be, but who knows?

Finally in the new place. Still a bunch of unpacking to do, but at least our stuff is out of the old place. Good times! Really loving this new apartment, it is super nice and a bit bigger than our old one. Plus, has a washer/dryer (which the last place didn't!) and a dishwasher, which is awesome.

All in all, hopefully this means that things are going to start looking up. Will be visiting my family in December (and maybe my Sir!), and then...well, a brand new year. We'll see how it goes!

I was in a stream recently where I ended up discussing my living situation and I thought it might be fun to do a little bitty Q&A about my family (to an extent).

My family relationship is as follows:

Spouse (live with, married)
Partner (live with, mentally married)
Boyfriend (Long distance, my Dominant)

Spouse, Partner and I are a *triad*, which means that all three of us are together. We are a unit. Boyfriend has a wife (who I am *not* dating) and does not live with me. Partner has a boyfriend (who is monoamorous), who does not live with us. Basically, it is a triangle with feet.

Usually when people think of polyamory, they think of things like Mormonism. A man with many wives, all that jazz! But the majority of people who practice poly aren't religious in that sense, or at least they are not poly *because* they are religious. Polyamory just means "many loves" and is neither better nor worse than monoamory, and me being polyamorous doesn't mean that I believe anyone who isn't is 'bad'.

If you have any questions about what polyamory means to me, please ask! If you'd like clarification on how my relationship works, please ask! If you want to ask me out...well, I suppose you can ask, but I admit to being pretty full up on relationships. ;)

Not from FA, but from my apartment. Spouse, Partner and I are going to be moving into a new apartment in the next few months and I do honestly think that it'll be far, far better for all of our mental (and physical!) health. This building, while not *bad* does have a mold problem which makes my health problems worse and as much as I love our landlords (they have been so patient and kind to us), the woman downstairs is a complete and utter negative energy fountain.

To get this new apartment, which is a very nice place not too far from here, we need to earn $1180, which is security deposit and first month's rent. This isn't impossible for us, what with Spouse and Partner having okay-paying jobs, but it'll be a bit tight and is somewhat stressful. So commissions are open! This past couple of months have definitely been up and down for me. My depression has been slamming me pretty hard, especially since I haven't been able to use my hormones for a while. One of the things that makes my dysphoria the worst is my menstrual cycle, so it's basically just one more thing adding to an already nasty chemical insanity in my head. But I'm surviving, in part because of the support I get from Spouse and Partner. Though, really it's almost entirely due to Spouse and Partner.

Lurker's death was hard on me. It probably seems silly to a lot of people, but it really just kind of stretched me nearly to my breaking point when I was already getting close. But I'm getting better. I'm not quite as tense, now that time has passed. I've been more inclined to draw furry stuff again and that's pretty awesome!

As evidenced by the new picture, I've also recently gotten into a relationship with a new gentleman who is very kind. It is long distance, but we have been friends for quite some time. Admittedly, I'm smack dab in the middle of NRE (new relationship energy for you non-poly peeps) so I totally realize that I'm gonna be a bit googly-eyed for a while yet. But I also think that the discussions we've had are a good indicator that we're trying to take this as carefully as possible.

So, all in all, it's been kind of a hard year. But it's getting better, and it definitely hasn't been all bad! Hope you guys are doing awesome, and I'm sorry I've been so scarce lately!

Today our cat Lurker passed away due to complications with her age and most likely kitty leukemia. I haven't been in her life as long as Spouse or the rest of her family, but I did have about five very good years with her.

She was a very sweet cat and while she wasn't maybe as cuddly as some, she did tolerate it for a goodly amount of time when we wanted to hold her.

RIP Lurker. You were a very good cat
