X3 another ratchet and clank game!!!!

:3 ok first of all, for those out there that own one and want to add me as a friend i am Shyftr67 on the nintendo network

bought mine today and went through a rather long setup process, and i have a semi slow internet connection so that made it even slower, after all that was done however, i messed with some of the features and played a few rounds of sonic & all stars racing, i found the tablet controller a little bulky to play with, but otherwise an awesome idea, though now i may stick to my wiiu pro controller for that game. i have a deluxe edition which means it came with nintendoland and as of writing this, i haven't yet played it, hope to get some more games soon including batman arkam city armored, new super mario bros. u, and lego city undercover, when it comes out

:3 overall i'm quite impressed with the system so far, and look forward to some possible future games like a new super smash brothers, mario kart, or a new 3d mario game (games like mario 64, galaxy, 3D land etc.)

ok so...i've been playing lots of the sims 3 on PS3 recently, gotten quite far too :3 level 10 in 2 careers, maxed out at least 5 or 6 different skills, got some decent relationships going...and then this is when things started going wonky on me ^^;

so the first thing that happened was that i got into a deep relationship with another and asked to marry, she accepted and we had the wedding party at the house the next day, when it was time for everyone to leave however ^^; somehow 3 of the guests got stuck in place (as in...no matter what i did, they wouldn't move) ...and didn't leave until i personally told them like 5 times...and even then, one guy stayed, his needs probably at nothing, in my front yard and played his guitar the whole night

the next little thing that happened was that...even tho i married this sim...i didn't get the option to have her move in, which you must personally ask them to do, even if you've gone through the ceremony and all that

so i decided then to go back to a previous save, and i fixed that little problem...but then a new one arose, see, there's an inventory that your sim has, used for carrying things like books and collectables all around town and so you can take said collectables home, and so you can smelt the metals, cut the gems, etc. well...my 'sim inventory' wasn't showing up at all after she moved in this time ^^; i mean...it still showed i had stuff IN the inventory...but there was nothing i could select, wtf... this game is the glitchiest fecking thing i've ever seen...

if there's anyone out there that can help me fix this...please do ^^; until then...i'm going to have to restart from 2 in game weeks ago...

That said, i personally have yet to see the movie myself IF i ever will, i don't know how many times I've said this in the past, but i like to see things in new and creative ways, along with HD upgrades or re-imagined story ideas.

For example, i am one of the few who actually enjoyed the Spider-man movies and the first 2 Transformers movies, and am even kind of looking forward to the new TMNT movie...even if bay's gonna screw up the mythos a bit, but even when i saw the VERY FIRST poster of battleship...i thought to myself that it had to be some kind of joke.

There is absolutely NO way you can make a story from a board game that is almost 30% luck. That's like if they suddenly made a movie out of something like say...Risk, which actually, i think would make a better movie and game cause it's about conquering the world with one country's army.

and FYI furs and gamers alike, this journal is not just to rant on about a Hollywood cash in, i want to come up with a way to spread the word, so we don't have something so horrible happen to a good franchise in the future, (i don't know about you all, but i really enjoyed playing it as a kid, and even own a computer version of the board game that is WAY better thought out than the movie tie in) but right now, this is all i can think of, i will also be posting this on my DA account, but would appreciate any suggestions on how better to spread the word of this atrocity, for people who don't already know about it

>.< i'm so fucking pissed right now, i finally got infamous 2 for christmas, a brand new in the box, CD copy, and every time i try to play, it gives me a "installation failed" message. if there is ANYONE else out there with this same problem, please contact me, i am in desperate need of help on how to fix this fucking game

heh ^^; don't take that title as something bad, this game is actually exactly what you'd expect from the series, i just happened to finish it in a matter of a couple days on the lowest difficulty. i'll admit first-hand that this game's control scheme is a little awkward, it plays much more like Red Faction Guerrilla than Saints' Row 2, even the character animations are more like RFG. So yah, it takes a bit to get used to...but when you do oh man is this a good game, it is just flowing with good parody everywhere...in fact it's kind of the Ratchet and Clank of the sandbox crime games, making fun of not just itself, but a few other genres as well. i don't want to spoil much in case anyone goes and picks it up but for the sake of example I'll tell you there's a part in it where you're literally fighting zombies with a supersonic gun. Many people know me for buying a game for a good story, unless it's a racer or some old school game that has none but gets alot of praise, and boy...i think that's what urged me to finish this game so fast ^^; the story elements are much better implemented, and yes there are some serious parts, but it knows just how to lighten up the mood at the right moment. so for saints' row or GTA fans out there, definitely get this if you think you want it, you won't be disappointed. also if you don't already have it, i suggest you play SR2 first so you get the gist of what's going on in the story and can at least pick up on some of the references. that's about it, if you'll excuse me >:3 i've got hardcore mode to do.

so now it is officially confirmed that GTA 5 is going to be in San Andreas...why? why the hell set it somewhere they've done already? ok look, i can understand setting the 4th one in liberty city, it's a good place to set some ground work for the PS3 and the new engine, but come on rockstar, don't you have ANY other place you could have gone? hell i was kinda hoping we'd see like...a futuristic setting in the series. oh but don't get me wrong, i'll still buy 5, i'm just kind of annoyed by this because i heard that the fanboys of SA caused this choice, well thank you fanboys >.> couldn't let rockstar be a little more creative could ya.

ok so...random ass graphical glitch happened to me tonight, wish i could've recorded or taken a pic or somethin, i play on a PS3 tho, anyway, i had a caravan shotgun out and was playing around with switching ammo around (regular to slugs and vice versa) over and over again so i could see if the cartrages actually landed on the floor, which they didn't to my surprise ^^; so i quit doing this after say...20 or 30 times, ending back up on regular shotgun ammo and i go to holster the gun in 3rd person view...and the courier holsters it upside down, like...as if you were to put away some big melee weapon such as the bumper sword or baseball bat, i have never seen this before, nor have i seen a posting of a similar report on The Vault wiki site under bugs...so to the fallout players out there...has anyone else ever seen this?
