A while ago, FA put a ban on characters that "look" underage, which would have required me to delete large amounts of my gallery and be unable to post drawings of my own fursona. This rule applied retroactively and I didn't have the time or energy to go through my whole gallery and try to guess at everything that violated their heavily-open-to-interpretation rules, so I just disabled my account instead.

It seems like things have calmed down now somewhat, so I've re-enabled this account. I haven't thought much about how I'm going to use it going forward.

Things have changed a bit since I was last active here, and you can now find me on Bluesky at longlevy.bsky.social instead of Twitter, or on my website hungrycritters.net (which really needs to be updated). I've also started a new project, Helixftr Deluxe, which I will likely post about soon.

I don't want to get banned, but I also don't have the time or energy to go through my gallery to delete everything that may be on the wrong side of a set of rules that are up to interpretation. So, I think I'm going to disable this account for the time being at the end of the month. It's possible that it may return at some point, but don't hold your breath.

My website will be the central location of hosting my art going forward. It's currently missing a lot of recent art and is in dire need of some TLC, but hopefully I'll be able to find some time to update it relatively soon.

Since my approaches to Patreon so far haven't been working out, I'm deciding to switch up my focus again. The new focus is: interactive and animated content.

This means new Patreon tiers. For $3 you'll get access to WIP versions of my current projects. For $10 you'll receive access to source files for these projects.

I realize I'm dropped this news at the last minute, so for the next month, those currently subscribed to my old tiers will gain access to my new ones. The old $3 will access the new $3, and the old $5 will access the new $10. However, at the end of June, the old tiers will be deleted and you will have to subscribe to the new ones. It would be best to do this right after reading this so you don't forget later.

For now, I'm going to start creating content for the Helixftr and possibly Barbftr Flash games. After a while, I'd like to start my own project(s), most likely in 3D.

First off, I want to apologize for posting this on the last day of the month. I wanted to give people a bit more time to change their pledges, but I forgot that this month has only 28 days in it.

I want to change my artistic focus to more of quality than quantity. Starting in March, I will no longer be posting new sketches every day Monday through Thursday. I feel that this strict schedule has been making it more difficult to find joy in my work. The $3 Prey tier will still exclusively receive the standalone sketches and sketches of every new piece I make as I make them, just no longer tied to this schedule. Furthermore, this tier will start to receive more advanced WIPs.

My Predator tier will change in price from $7 to $5. I will continue to produce one finished piece every week, the files for which the Predator tier will continue to receive. Previously, I had only one day to work on finished pieces after its poll closed, which greatly limited their quality. Now, I will be able to use the extra time to put more quality into my work. For now, weekly polls will be discontinued, though may return in some form at a later date. Subscribers to this tier will still be able to submit ideas for pieces. Since little warning was given for these changes, anyone still subscribed to the old Predator tier at the beginning of March will have access to all the benefits of the new tier.

I understand that these changes will cause some people to delete their pledges. If you continue to help support me, know that you have my sincere thanks.

As for future plans, I've been toying with the idea of starting art streams back up again. I need to further research how to make them an entertaining experience for watchers and whether there would be much interest for them.

In other news, I'm going to start trying to catch this gallery up again, as well as that of my website, Hungry Critters. As much as it bothers my perfectionism, new pieces will be mixed in with older posts here as I draw them.

As of today I have finally finished uploading my entire art backlog here to FA. I will no longer be uploading something here every day. Instead, this account will begin to receive new art as I finish them.

My other art site accounts around the internet aren't quite caught up yet, but should be within a week or two.

I've been streaming about once a week now, though since I pretty much start without warning and delete posts about it afterwords, you may not have noticed. For this reason, I figured I should share some information about when I try to do it.

I try to stream every Saturday now if possible, around noon-ish, though I tend to put it off for an hour or so. It's mostly Pokemon and vore doodles, I don't really take any drawings to what might be considered completion these days. I have a tendency to take suggestions if I find they are interesting enough.

I appreciate anyone who comes by and shows interest, so don't be shy.

Hey. I've been toying with the idea of publicly streaming my doodle sessions, the results of which you can see on this blog. Would anyone be interested in watching? If not I might as well not bother.

Now that FA is finally back up I thought I'd share my Tumblr accounts here in case anyone is interested.

Hungry Critters: Fetish doodle blog, I post some stuff there that don't make it to FA. For the most part I try to keep from posting things that are too crazy there, or too furry. Mostly Pokemon. I reblog a couple things if I find they're cool enough.

Things have been pretty hectic and busy lately as I get used to my new surroundings, so much so that it almost slipped my mind that my birthday is this coming Wednesday. Which is okay, I guess. I'll be turning 23.

I guess there's not really much else to say. I've been completely without internet for a week or two and just recently regained access. Things are going about as smoothly as can be expected.

That's all. I'll be around, carry on.

Finally, after about six months straight of training, I get to just do nothing for the next two weeks. I'll have to see if I can finally draw up a lot of ideas I've been sitting on, though of course I'll be playing a lot of games as well. Maybe also chat up some friends online I've been neglecting.

It came none too soon, either. I'm pretty sure at this point with all the running I've done I now have shin splints as well as achilles tendonitis. Needless to say I won't be running again for at least a month.

Looks like I just passed 1000 watchers. So that's pretty cool.

So if you've seen my last journal, you may know that I've finally gotten off my ass and put together some information for commissioning me. For a while people only kept asking for animations so that's all I had decided on prices for, but recently a couple have come to me looking for standard drawings, so I've had to get this done.

One thing I've decided to do is split my waiting list into two, one for Flash animations, and one for everything else. The reason for this is I've found that after I've worked on a complex animation for a while I start to get burned out on it, after which it is very difficult to continue. I'll then get into a rut until I'm able to complete it. With this second list, I'll now be able to work on faster, easier commissions when I get tired of working on the animations. Also, this way people who just want a drawing won't be stuck waiting on me to finish things that take a lot of time to finish.

Aside from normal drawings I'm also going to start accepting animated avatars. These will be Pokemon sprite-like as well as the smoother type I've got a few of in my scraps.

And with that, commissions are nooow... closed! I'm sorry! I would just like a little time to get things in order. I'll be sure to post a journal to tell when I open them again, it shouldn't be long.

Okay! Okay. So, with the combination of my birthday and the release of Dark Souls at the beginning of the month I decided to sort of take the week after off and shirk pretty much all of my responsibilities. Unfortunately, this sent me into a slump that has proved pretty hard to pull out of. But no longer!

My commission waiting list has been stacking up, and to those who are on it, I'm sorry for the long wait. With luck, I should be able to get through you all pretty quickly.

Now, does anyone know where I can watch Adventure Time episodes online? I haven't been able to find anywhere else since AdventureTi.me went down and I need my fix!

Dark Souls is ancient and archaic in the most beautiful ways.

Oh, hahah, as I was writing this I found out if you back-attack those armored rhino things your character jams their weapon right up its ass and then boots them off. Awesome. And those things look scary as hell.

Heeey, so now I'm 22. I'll only be getting one gift, but it's pretty much the only thing I've wanted anyway.

I think I feel like getting hammered tonight.

Earlier this week, I took my Electronic Data Processing Test (EDPT). Luckily, I did just well enough to get where I wanted.

I assumed I would be taking it on a computer, but I was wrong. The booklet I was handed was ancient-looking, the edges worn and the cover not even attached. It turns out the test was made in 1960-something, and they just never bothered to update it, or make a new one. Now, I have trouble imagining that any test written in 1960 could accurately gauge whether someone has a mind for programming in 2011 (or possibly even 1960 for that matter, people were stupider back then). Fifty years is a long, long time in the world of computers.

Anyway, that's really all I have to say on the matter. It's hard to get too worked up about it because I passed, after all, but I'm sure I could have done better on a test more recently written.
