I'm going with my good buddy  glowsheep to Furry Weekend Atlanta next weekend. I'm not certain that anybody else I know is going, and it's my first time going. Anybody else gonna be there? Or is there anything I should look out for or avoid? Haha. Thanks!

I want to do a commission of Olmec getting stabbed. I want his face to show that exact moment when he realized that it happened. The shock, the pain, the surprise. This is something I need. And I need to know who can do it.

Still have an open space for AnthroCon in my hotel room. Staying at the Marriott, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, $120 for bed space, sharing with me.

All I ask is that you don't smell. :I

My roommate ( Absolute_Necessity) and I are planning early for AC and we're looking for 2-4 more people to crash with us. Our first choice for hotels is the Courtyard, followed by Doubletree. Because we hate the fucking Westin. It's so fucking dumb to wait a fucking hour for an elevator when you just want to go to your room and take a shower and maybe rest or to find something to do during Kage's Story Hour.

Anyways, the details:


When: Friday and Saturday night. We'll be getting to the con around 4pm on Friday, give or take an hour.

Cost: It's $326 for the two nights. Four people splitting the cost would be $82, five would be $63, and six would be $55, costs adjusted based on where you're sleeping. (You'll pay a little less if you sleep on the floor, compared to sleeping in a bed, but only if there's no bed space available.)

Fursuiters are okay.

The house caught fire last night, around 2:00am. I was woken up by the smoke alarm and then went to wake everyone else up. Everyone got out safely, dogs included, but the downstairs is completely unsalvageable. The upstairs just got hit with a lot of smoke damage. Everything I own now has that delicious, char-grilled smell.

So, things are back to normal. Staying with PunkCat for Anthrocon.

Maybe I won't be going after all. Lost my crash space, and dont' really have the money to pay $150+ for a room spot.

Just when everything was perfect.

I've been slowly getting this settled for my trip to Pennsylvania in a couple weeks.

I got work to give me the weekend off, Thursday-Sunday. I just have to get Monday off, too, but I'm pretty sure I'll get it. No worries.

I had to call the director of the summer camp I usually work out, to tell her that I wouldn't be able to make it. Work wouldn't give me the full week off for Kamp, but 3 days off in one week, and 3 in another is okay, I guess. *shakes head*

I've confirmed -FREE- transportation to and from the convention, with a buddy of mine named Izix. He's coming through Columbus from Dayton and picking me up. He's pretty awesome.

Speaking of awesome people, I'm staying in Pittsburgh -FREE- with my friend Zeke, who's a nonfur, but plans to go to the convention for a little bit, and is cool with driving me to and from every day of the convention. Double score.

And I'm pre-registered as of tonight!

Things are really looking up as far as this goes, and it's all been done in the past three or four days. First Anthrocon's going to be awesome.
