Come January it's pretty likely I'm going to stop taking commission work - 2016 hasn't been very good at all for business and I've gone through a fair amount of shit because of it.
I've had probably around 14-15 (certainly less than 30) commissions throughout the entire year. I can't justify trying to make a job of that. If I continue to do commission work it will probably be kept to a minimum every now and again.

But this's just how I'm thinking now, maybe things will change in the near-future.

◘ Payment is strictly through PayPal. USD and CAD only!(To pay in CAD, add an additional $5 onto the commission prices)

◘ I take payment for commissions before I begin them, to avoid being cheated. As for YCHs, payment is due right as the auction is over. Payment window will be mentioned on the YCH submission.

▷About when/How I do my art◁

◘ I love to draw like every other artist, but I work at my own pace. I do work slowly so you must be patient, I have a life offline and it tends to get in the way of commission work. Don't get discouraged if I upload some personal pieces before doing commissions, most of the time I need it out of my system and others it's for practice.


◘ I will fix any mistakes that are my fault. I will provide a rough sketch/WIP (you must request to see it beforehand) and I will await your approval before I continue. I do not provide WIPs for Wing-Its/YCHs. If you forgot to send me a correct reference sheet, then that is on you. I go by the reference(s) you send me. It is the responsibility of the commissioner to provide me with all necessary information to complete the commission.

◘ If you are to commission me and do not have any reference sheets/pictures. You MUST have a VERY VERY detailed description of your character, along with a colour chart. (You can easily make one in paint if you do not own any other program). I also accept Game Screenshots reference photos BUT, you again, MUST have a colour chart.

◘ I do not work on deadlines. I love art, but it isn't my entire life. I have responsibilities and commitments outside of the internet. Before commissioning me, you need to understand that I am not the kind of artist who will get your commission done in under a day. Please do not harass me to finish your work quickly, if you are ordering it for some sort of gift do not order it last minute. You have seven days (From the time you send payment) to request a refund. After that period your refunded amount, should you request one, will decline to half.

◘ You can contact me about updates every so often. Do not do it frequently. I will provide it, if any progress has been made.

◘ I do not do refunds for completed images. I can fix small mistakes but if it is the wrong character, that is not on me. I follow the references given to me.

◘ I can stream a commission, if requested but on my time. I will not work to your time; you will have to adjust to mine. I can give you times and dates when I can stream the artwork. If what I suggest does not work for you then I will work on the picture off screen. Sorry.

▷Rights◁

◘ I, as the artist, have every right to turn down your commission. Please, be mature and do not try to argue with me. No means no.

◘ Yes you are allowed to post the art you commissioned from me, as long as you give credit where credit is due, and do not remove my signature/watermark from the picture. As well as posting it on other sites, but my signature/watermark is to be untouched.

◘ I reserve the right to use rejected sketches.
▷Ex: If you rejected a sketch for a whole new pose. (I will alter the character(s) to not look like yours).

hate this job so much - im grateful they're giving me so many shifts but i physically can't handle it. I have no time to myself and when i do im to tired and grouchy to be assed to do anything
i don't have much time to draw or do art anymore, i feel sick whenever i go in the kitchen now. but the managers don't give a flying fuck about you well-being

sounding like a whiny little bitch here but just fucking hate the place and the people in it, might be leaving the job sooner than i planned if i don't get proper time to recover after working over a week straight

The fun is over and it's back to life now, blegh!
This year was super fun, easily the best one yet -- I heard from some friends that there was 50k people over the three days (not calling that a fact but there was certainly over 15k this year, more than last year). The weather was really great for once, not too many people had heat issues and whatnot. I was hardly inside! I stayed at the hotel for two nights, actually was drinking for the first time on saturday.

Half drunk, playing N64smash and Cards Against Humanity til 5am was probably the highlight of my con. Lots of laughs and LOTS of amazing cosplays! Next year I hope to be pulling off a cosplay was well, going to get started on it soon actually! I didn't take as many pictures as I should have but hey - the ones I did take were pretty nice!

All in all, great con, great people, amazing cosplays -- here's to an even better one next year!

Animation is something I really really want to get into, but I can't afford monthly payments to use flash (also seems kinda stupid to me)
I'm not very trusting of free programs anymore either, so does anyone know good cheaper alternatives to flash? Other than photoshop, I can't draw in that.

I've been having computer issues for a few days and couldn't get it to boot up. Thanks to  yuki0kei I was able to get things working again.
However because of the problem I had, my system had to be wiped clean. I've lost everything I was working on so apologies to those I owe artwork too - you'll be waiting just a little longer ^^;

Open for commissions again and this time I have adjusted my prices to be more expensive than before! My reason behind is that within the next few weeks I will be finished with school and out looking for a job. I have to be able to support myself while waiting to get employed anywhere, from there it's saving up so I can move out of my parents house!
