Hey guys! Sorry i haven't been updating my journal, especially for new potential commission stuff, I have been mostly using twitter since its easier and I can reach more people easily.

However, this is something sorta new I am hoping to do much more often. I have been streaming and taking just a few commissions per day, and for now its mostly just sketches and flat colored stuff to keep it simple. As my queue gets cleared, I am thinking of opening it up to the last two offerings (lightly rendered and fully rendered).

Just hop in on my stream at picarto.tv/raibear and check if I got any slots! You can also let me know if you wanna take a slot in advance!

If you do decide on getting a commission, please have an idea ready and reference drawings too as well (doesnt have to be a ref sheet, but if there are details not shown or unclear, I will have to ask you about those things quite a lot).

As I was drawing today, I thought that the number of characters I'm working with and I want to draw is steadily increasing. The train of thought also kinda stemmed from casually reading about people who have a bunch of 'sonas, and thought I technically have a HUGE set of characters, although I don't refer to 'em as my "selves". They're OC's you say, and you're absolutely right! For the sake of organization, I converted an old journal of mine and put all the characters both currently existing and planned, maybe hinting about a thing or two here and there. If they have available ref sheets, the link will be beside their names as well, and if they don't, it'll have a link to art should it exist.

This should be useful both for me and you, if any of y'all are interested in using these characters. If you can however, please ask for permission before using them in weird situations! Otherwise, if it's innocent, all you gotta do is link me the finished thing!

Hey guys! I'm back, so I should start working on my current batch too! Thanks for being so patient!

Hey guys, I'm flying out tonight and going to stay there for two weeks so unfortunately, everything has to be on hold until then. I wish I could work on it there, but there's gonna be a lot of things going on and I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up. This past week has been hell for me too, since I got tasked to do things related to this trip along with all the art that I was hoping to finish by now. :(

I hope you guys understand the lull of artwork and the pause in commission progress. I'll still be online (if it permits) so you'll see me around on twitter and such, so don't worry! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Hey guys! I'm opening commission slots! I'm only taking colored and light shading for now, which is $40 and $50 respectively. It can be sfw or nsfw!

Usually, an additional character would cost $10 less, so a colored only piece with 2 characters is $70 total. HOWEVER, for this batch, you can upgrade to lightly shaded for two characters for only $80 (instead of having to pay $90 for two characters, light shading) This will take 2 slots up as well!

In addition, If it has Rai as the second character, that would be another $10 off!

I will start working on these Monday, so if you're interested please note me and have your refs and ideas ready by Monday! I'll be expecting payment then too!

I've been trying to nail a bunch of commissions lately and I'm glad I'm almost done! But other than that, it's mostly uneventful for me, other than FC of course! Why didn't I announce here that I was going there? Grah. Met new folks, hugged people and suiters, spent quality time with friends, and lots of food. I even participated in one of those martial arts sessions there. That was fun. My body can't keep up though, even though I had some experience with it. I just haven't been working on my body lately I guess.

Anyways, I'm currently sketching something, a YCH sorta thing. I've been curious about YCHs for a while now, and a bunch of friends suggested doing it. I'm not sure if any of you guys would be interested, but we'll see won't we? Wish me luck! haha

I've also been thinking of how I'm dealing with commissions and stuff. I might open new slots soon, but probably only two at a time. Also Thinking of doing a barrage of it, so if you miss it, you won't have to wait long! I'm also thinking of streaming all this, since streaming strangely encourages me to do stuff right away. Maybe do this all as a commission stream thingy? Let me know what you think.

Flying out of San Francisco this Thursday!

I'm going in alone and I don't really know most of the folks I'm gonna be with there in person so I'm kinda nervous. I'd like to meet lots of folks, although just please excuse me in advance if I seem very shy and have little to say. XD

I've heard lots of great things about this con so I'm looking forward on how this goes. But I also believe the company you keep usually makes the best of things like these.

So which one of you guys are coming? Anything I should know?

Been meaning to do this somewhere, somehow... But I decided this is the best place to put this I guess. Might delete it later.

Gotta say, not feeling my best lately. Sucks even more that I can't really approach people I trust because I feel like they can't understand. That or I won't like what they'd say about it.

I've been here before and I can't get used to it. I can't shake it off. I can't just confide the things I'm thinking with anyone, so even if random folks do offer to hear what I wanna say, I simply can't talk about it. I can't give away that sort of trust easily. I'm sorry to those willing to lend their ears.

The gist of it is that I feel like part of me is willing to give so much, at the same time frustrated I can't get something like it. It's just part of how things work I guess, but that doesn't dispell the fact that it feels terrible. It's painful, it's crippling, but I'm trying to not let it get to me.

Should I just stick around even if I feel bad? Or do I let go and steer clear of everything that makes me feel terrible, like this?

I've been thinking of doing this for a while now (maybe after I finish up the bigger ones I'm working on right now). There were attempts of doing it late last year but I realized I couldnt do it since plans would have gotten in the way.

I'm currently making a list of things to draw as well, though I am running out of ideas. Maybe some of these could be inexpensive commissions too? That would require you guys responding to me as quickly as possible though.

As far as normal commissions go, I'm planning on accepting them the next weekend or the one after that, but it will only be three slots. I dont think I'll be opening commissions for heavy work anytime soon since that's what have been taking most of my drawing time lately.
