Playing Darkest Dungeon. My computer's old, so there will be lag, but chat members will get characters.

I've now written or in the process of writing just as many comic scripts in five months as I had written prose stories over 2 years. Granted, life in 2014-16, but the actual process of writing has felt considerably less like teeth pulling with a pair of tweezers. Both of them are just as equally unnoticed by the general public, lol. Still no idea if my work's actually good or not. Then again, a bad artist can make a good script terrible just as much as a good artist can make a shit script halfway decent, so who knows.

Since the whole quarantine thing is going on, I figured I'd try my hand at making Youtube videos. My first project is going through Gail Simone's recent comic writing class she held over twitter. Though I certainly wouldn't buy any of her current books, she did good work at some point in her career. Will I learn actual good advice, or will it just be rife for comedy? Hello to everyone. My my, it certainly has been a while since I posted anything that actually mattered. I just wanted to tell you all about my new project.

Lately, I've been inspired and thought I'd try my hand at writing comics. I already have bought and read a couple books on the subject, so I'm not jumping in completely clueless. I eventually plan to write full blown comics, but that would be meaningless if I can't write a single page. That's where this comes in. Out of Context Comics. All it really entails, is writing the script of a page out of context from some longer narrative. Every page in a comic should give some form of incentive to keep reading. Even if I could draw the reader in with a solid page 1, the story is still doomed if it falls flat by page 5.

Bear in mind, these are only scripts. I have the artistic skill of a dead pheasant. I have no way of knowing if my ideas and writing translate well unless an artist actually draws the page. Still, I look forward to posting these and hope that anyone reading them can still visualize what I'm going for. I'll have my first script up soon.

Artists. Are you wanting to dabble in comics? Do you want to get some practice but are out of ideas? Are you thinking of taking commissions but have no idea what you might expect? Perhaps this project can lend a hand. Here's a few points so we are on the same page.

1. I'm not begging for art. I need to practice my writing. You want to practice your art. Let's do something mutually beneficial.

2. Should you decide to give it a shot, just credit me and link the script in the description. Send a link of your work in the comments of the script itself too. I'd love to see it. I'd be more than happy to repost your work on my profile as a signal boost, should you desire it.

3. All characters featured in my Out of Context scripts are basically placeholders. You are more than welcome to use your own characters or just make ones up. I am by no means asking you to specifically draw my sona or any of my friends. I'm keeping it as free form and generic as possible.

4. Should you for some strange reason want to include my sona, ask me in a note.

5. Have fun. Don't worry about it. I cannot stress that enough.

Well, it's been a while since I posted or really did anything with my FA profile. I'm not dead. Might as well do a massive info dump on what I've been doing.

I was initially going to put this at the end, but I figured getting this out of the way now would probably be for the best. A friend of mine passed away recently. He and I weren't that close, but he was a good person, and I wish I could have done more to help him during his time of suffering. Though I obviously haven't been writing, I have been lending what creativity I have to something really cool. My friend and I have been working on getting a tabletop game company started. We started on one project at around 2016, but when we realized how much money it would cost to start up, we shifted gears to something a bit cheaper first. I won't give details now, but expect me to be shilling for a tabletop fantasy game sometime in the future.

I am a licensed massage therapist now. I still have yet to find actual work, but at least I can finally say I have some form of marketable skill.

I'm getting married! I have no idea when it will actually happen, but I already can't wait. Both of us are working hard to try to make it work somehow. It would certainly help if somebody actually hired me. The distance between us sucks, but it really does surprise me that Ked and I haven't just fallen apart yet. I'm happy to have him in my life, one way or another.

There'd been a lot that had happened since last I posted anything, but honestly most of it is kind of a blur at this point. Last thing I want to mention is that I've decided to give Twitch a try. When I'm not job hunting, i'm usually wasting my time playing video games. Might as well make a show of it. If you're interested in watching me, here's a list of titles I plan to stream:

There's been an influx of people who have decided to watch me. RMFC was freaking awesome. I attended several writing panels, bought a bunch of stuff, and actually got some feedback on my writing for once. I had such a good time. School has started up again. I'm not looking forward to how some of my classes will go, while others I'm enjoying very much, especially my cryptography class.

So you want a little nugget of my creative writing of your very own huh? Excellent! There's a few things you should know before you send me a note. I'll first start with some general all around ground rules, then go into detail about each project I can offer. Remember, these are subject to change or clarification at any time. You ready? Let's begin.


GENERAL THINGS TO CONSIDER

1. If what you are commissioning me is part of a trade, do not, and I mean DO NOT, fulfill your end of the bargain until I've upheld mine. I'm a very slow writer and I've got a life, especially when school is in session. Things have been a bit easier for me as of late when it comes to getting work done. However, if you are commissioning me during a busy time of the year, it might be a while before I can give you any results. What you're offering is my incentive to try to squeeze you in whenever I can. Don't spoil that for me.

2. I will note you the entire story when it is completed providing it's one that requires your approval. If I do not hear back from you within 1 week of sending it to you, I will consider it APPROVED. I will do any final edits and then post it anyway. You have been warned.

3. No multi-part stories. It's just plain easier for me that way.

4. Subjects that I WILL NOT write about are including but not limited to: incest, watersports, scat, rape, outlandish fetishes (vore, inflation, neuro, etc.), and pedophilia just to name a few.

5. No R34. I will not be the one who brings your Discord/Bloomberg slash fic idea to life. No, I don't care if your fursona's cock is the one millionth visitor inside Krystal's asshole. Either write it yourself, or get somebody who's actually talented to write it for you.

6. The more information you can give me, the better. Trust me. If you give me a lot of details to work with, coming up with your story becomes so much easier and I will love you for it.

7. I have the right to refuse your commission if I feel that I cannot do it justice, or if it violates my terms of service.


SHORT STORIES

Writing stories for other people can be tough, and I want to do a good job of representing your characters/settings. That's why these projects are only up for trade. It's hard work to get everything to a reasonable amount of accuracy. I will try to write whatever genre requested, but due to my paltry amount of experience, I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to do it well. Rest assured, if accepted, I'll give it my best shot. Quick note, if your request is for erotica, my tastes range from vanilla to extremely softcore, so don't expect me to be able to write some hardcore bondage/borderline torture piece or whatever. Just saying. Please copy/paste and fill out this questionnaire in your note. Remember to give me details. I'm not a mind reader.

PIECE OF INSANITY

Do you just want your character in a bite sized story of bat shit crazy proportions? If so, you've come to the right guy. These stories operate a bit differently from my other project offer. The first difference, is that they do not take up a commission slot. So on top of the three or four stories I may have lined up, I may have ten requests of these that I can churn out quickly. The second difference is that I do not send you the results for approval. I just write it, edit, and post. So you'll be just as surprised as any other poor soul who happens to read it. These are completely free, but you have been warned. On with the questions. Plus, I also don't need that many details.

1. Could you please tell me about your character? It might not matter much in the end, so just give me some basics and a visual reference.

2. Do you have a preference as to what the goal of the story might be, or do you want me to just go nuts?

I just got a call from my parents a few minutes ago. My cat just died. I feel my very core sinking deeper as I type this. It was a long time coming. I got her in middle school and she was supposedly only a year to a year and a half old then. Slowly worsening eye problems, even to the point of having one of them removed. Then her bowels started acting up and she was often making a mess of my parents' bed. We had no idea when, but we treasured every day we still had her. She was nice and cozy in front of the fire. My parents just enjoying the evening. Then suddenly, she was gone. I almost wish I could be there when it happened, but I honestly couldn't ask for a better way for her to go.

I remember stopping in Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab Utah. We planned on adopting a cat and thought we'd stop by on the way back from a road trip to Arizona. My mother told me to keep an open mind when we went in to see them, but when I saw her there, I fell in love instantly. Lorelei was, and still is the most adorable cat I ever knew. Stunning blue eyes, splendid markings, and she was softer than velvet. I had already made my choice. We got the papers and then in October of that year, mom and I drove down to Vegas to pick her up at one of their roaming adoption trips. For at least twelve years, she lived a good life with us in comfort.

I have been mulling over the idea of giving out free readings to people for some time now. I figured I'd do a couple of trial runs with you guys. If things work out well, I'll occasionally give out readings to the general public as well as have watcher exclusive offers. I can currently offer Tarot and I Ching readings, though the latter would be relatively basic by comparison. I also have an oracle deck I might throw in for extra tidbits of advice. On top of that, I recently bought a book on other forms of divination, so once I've given some of those a try and get used to them, I'll offer those in the future too.

Here's how I'm going to do this. I will currently open up three slots. They will be first come, first serve. I will be doing this more than once, so those who miss out the first time won't be totally out of luck. Leave a comment with the following:

Basic subject of the reading (love, money, whatever. if you just want a general reading of the future, just say 'general'). Please have it be something that isn't immediately pressing. If you need to know what to do about something that'll happen in 20 minutes, there's no way i can get you what you need in time.

Preferred method of divination. For those who don't know, the I Ching is great for asking 'how' questions.

I will respond with further instructions. The reading itself will be done at my earliest convenience. I'll do my best to keep readings in depth but not overblown. Note that I cannot guarantee that anything I tell you is what will actually happen. It is merely describing potential outcomes and options on how to deal with them.

Last night, I was very angry. Angry at people whom I should care about, but have lately been going out of their way to piss me the fuck off, so my patience for them is running a bit thin. This would be the part where I get into this long-winded rant about what happened, but this isn't an issue worth sympathizing over. However, I still feel the need to bitch into the void, but I would really hate to inconvenience all of you with having to put up with it. So, I thought, why not have everyone join in?

Ladies and gents, I present to you my Swear Jar. This journal is the place where you can vent all of your bottled up anger and frustration and keep it contained here. Feel free to be as vague or as specific as you like. You can even be as much of an asshole as you like too. Since I'm still an unknown on the site, there's a pretty big chance that nobody will ever find it; and if they do, odds are it would be months or even years after the fact.

Here are the rules:
1. No responding to anyone's rants. This journal is meant to help people vent. The rest of us are here to hold space for them. No judgement, and no conflict.
1a. Fighting: If Sarah bitches about John, and John finds out about it a week later, the ensuing comment war would be strictly forbidden. Fight it out within the privacy of notes, or if you'd like, I will set up a journal and the two squabblers would fight it out there. If requested, I would be willing to do my best to moderate it.

2. Whatever somebody divulges here, is their business. If it doesn't correlate to you, leave it alone. If it miraculously does correlate to you, I would still encourage you to leave it alone. If not, Rule 1.
