Long story short for those of you who actually read these things. My mate took my truck to go pick up some beer and pool supplies/toys while my brother and I finished some work because this past weekend we actually got to go swimming for the first time since we drained and cleaned my folks' pool. I thought my mate had grabbed my bag and put it in my mom's house before they left but I assumed wrong. While my mate and my mother were in ole Wally world some scumbag proceeded to bash the window out of the truck with the tire tool that was in the bed and stole not only my back pack that i use to carry my stuff... including my laptop and my sketchbook that was nearly full from my Drawing 1 class but both mine and my mates packs of cigarettes. I mean Jesus dude, be a real man and steal the truck next time so that I can get rid of a payment at least. The fairly good news ( if you can call it that) is that the truck has full coverage due to the loan on it so the window is paid for. The insurance company says that they might be able to do something about the computer but I'm not holding my breath. Ill be looking through pawn shops until I can find it because more than likely that's where it's headed. Until then, I'm back on old trusty, the laptop that was a gift that has no working screen or keyboard. Its a desktop/laptop hybrid. All the convenience of being portable while still requiring a monitor, keyboard AND mouse to be functional! But I guess you can't look a gift horse in the mouth. At least it works for now....dammit

So yea, stuffs been extremely hectic around here lately. Between my fam-jam fighting, school work, work work and being a board member/announcer for a Horseman association I feet at times like my head may explode at any moment these past several months. Anyway though, I slacked off my school this summer by only taking one class and I'm just gonna focus on me for a little while. I know that I owe some art to some of you out there and I'm grateful of your patience with me while I was out on my 'hiatus". Hopefully some new stuff coming soon. I've missed you all and hopefully I won't have so much thrown onto my plate again!

Alright folks, in an attempt to get some practice in and gather some more watchers at the same time, I've decided that I'm going to be doing some free art!

Here's how it works:

So I recently purchased a used Xbox 360. I'm normally a PS3 guy but Forza Motorsport decided otherwise >.>. Cool thing about purchasing the console this late in the game is that all of the original launching platform specific games are on sale at Game Stop. Soooooooooo outta boredom the other day, I dug the change outta my couch cushions and be-bopped on down the road to the stop. ( I love the look on their face when country boy, moi, pulls up in a dually and busts in to browse the games)

Long story short, I came across Dead Rising 1 for six bucks. Most of you who know me know that I LOVE zombie games... but this doesn't feel like a zombie game. Dont get me wrong, beating the hell outta zeds with a large number of melee weapons is awesome... but why in the hell do I have to do it while fighting crazy people and trying to get the story solved? I mean that's all fine and dandy but do we have to add in the whole watch and time concept? Geez, its like every time I get on a good roll it's like, " Oh, sorry Mr. Z, but I can't play right now, gotta go listen to a bunch of shit that I don't give a FUCK about!"

Boredom has set in, I feel like I'm drifting around inside my head. I'm doodlin' a lil', just chillin but my brain is fried after the past two weeks.... Anyone else bored like me?

In attempts to build a bigger watch base I believe I may start doing ponies. They are some what easier to lay down on paper than other things. So quite possibly playing with the idea of it. If anyone would be interested let me know, Im gonna give this a shot, I may be good at it, may not be, i dunno.

So When I was a kid my gran'ma had alot of tapes she recorded of shows for me to watch while i was at her house being that she didnt have cable or satelite. One tape in particular contained the anime movie " Unico, in the Island of magic". I loved it as a kid but the sad thing was that right when the big ending fight began... the tape cut off :(. So, anyways, while browsing through youtube today I found where someone had split it into parts and posted it. I was so happy! I watched the whole thing... only thing is, for the past like... 19 years, I never knew how it ended, I just used my imagination and assumed that Unico won the fight and him and Cheri and the rest of the family lived happily ever after. Boy, was I wrong... it made me sad... I teared up a lil bit as I felt sorry for the lil unicorn... I wish he didnt have to start over again :( *Razor pony wipes tear away for the baby unicorn*

Im thinking about finally getting on the ball and trying to do comission stuffs. I've recently acquired a part time job at a very main stream home decor store, so my um-employed status is finally put to an end. The problem though, is that I dont make but $7.85 an hour and thats all taken for bills. :( So, my new years resolution this year is to finally finish my hot rod and run it at the strip... but to do that I need money. SO! I would like to know if anyone would be interested in comissioning me for some work, mind you depending what the work is of would depend on the time taken to complete. The last few pieces in my gallery are my own works unless stated other wise. The first pieces are 'practice copies' as I call them, where I looked at the original on the pc and drew them out, trying to get a few for anatomy of furrys, since my strong suit was always vehicles. Anyway, they will be black and white line arts, done by hand since I dont have any software worth a dern for art in my possession. I can do colored pencils but my scanner doesnt agree with them most the time. And finally, when the pic is done, upon request, I would mail the original to the comissionee for only the cost of shipping in the agreement that I will photo copy one for my portfolio. Im trying to stick to solo pics for the moment, not much xp dealing with couples and groups so... like I said. Im playing with this idea of cheap comissions... who might be interested? Also, pass this journal along if you want, any spread of info would be much appreciated! :3

Thats right, Im gonna start doing para chord bracelets here pretty soon so spread the word! Im gonna be Charging $12 plus shipping unless I can get away with mailing them in an envelope! lol, I only have four colors at this time but I will soon be able to get some new in hopefully, depending on what my supplier does. So $12 for a 'Cobra' Weave and $18 for the 'King Cobra'. It does not matter if you want dual color or not the price is the same. Also trying to figure out a tri- color for the plain 'Cobra'.
