That type of shit breeds in self entitlement and makes the people who actually worked towards a goal less noteworthy. How would history have turned out if it wasn't Thomas Edison credited as the one who improved the lightbulb, but everyone who contributed the materials? What about if it wasn't Christopher Columbus credited with being the first European that discovered America, but the entire crew?
There are winners and then there are losers. If you can't stand not winning, learn from it and get over it. Don't whine that you lost because guess what, no one cares. It breeds in the mentality that everyone is the same regardless if they fail or succeed.

Sister arrested.
Posted 13 years agoSo yeah. My sister was arrested for possession of narcotics. All I can think of is wanting to tell my parents that "That's what you get when you let her get away with everything and focusing on punishing me for doing nothing wrong."
If you knew the background to what hell I was put through for from 2003 to 2011 simply because I wasn't straight, you'd have the exact same feelings I would about the matter.
She did this herself and there's nothing I can say or do that will make it better. I refuse to be the shoulder to cry on for my parents since they had such an active part in fucking me up and over. I do believe I'm being more than polite by refraining from telling them that they fucked up when they suddenly decided to punish me for being me and letting her get away with every and anything with no consequences.
Update: The story goes that she was riding with 2 friends and when she got pulled over for speeding, one of them put the HEROIN in her bag. The 2 "friends" got let go and she was arrested for possession and her car was impounded. My dad's bailing her out and getting the car back. Or rather "trying to".

Left from work and headed down to pick up

danzerfox1 down in Jersey. We drove out fully loaded down in my car and arrived around 5pm. We unpacked and got settled in as well as set up the keg.
Thursday
Woke up, ate, and got reg'd. Shortwave Turrent, and I drove to the airport and picked up 
electropaw and drove him back to the hotel. Not much else happened besides a meet and greet we hosted.
Friday
I suited up in Shortwave's suit and followed him and Turrent around the area, showing Husky the wonder of Qdoba and the $8 "food baby". We got stopped by so many people wanting pictures, we couldn't go more than 10 feet without being asked. Some guy actually came up and asked him if the suits were for the orgies later on, and I just basically face palmed and shook my head as I turned and walked away. We then went down to the Dealer's Room and I bought a pocket watch for my dad. Suiting is so awesome. I also met
Soboku and gave him a big hug. =3
I also met
coyoteatquiznos when he got in and helped him reg. Afterwards, we all kinda chilled and found our own things to do.
Saturday
Went walking around a bit, not too much happened earlier that day other than the fursuit parade. Turrent, Shortwave, and I went on a rescue mission and helped save Soboku from sadness by forcibly dragging him along with us and giving him lots of love and hugs. =3
Later on that evening, I got hit with a bad bout of mid-con depression, but thanks to
Luckywolf 
Bauer 
spikeblackfang Turrent and Shortwave, I got pulled out of it. =3
Sunday
Not much happened during the day besides random stuff. We decided to pack earlier that night so we could avoid trying to make multiple trips up and down the elevator and fight the stupid that is trying to check out. While Turrent and I managed to pack our stuff, we had a little trouble packing Shortwave's since he'd gone MIA for a few hours, leading us to try and track him down. When we couldn't find him, we decided it'd be best to grab some sleep and try to finish packing Shortwave's truck tomorrow. Then husky made his way back to the room at around 4:30am and we managed to get him pack up by 5am before hitting the hay.
Monday
AHHHHH THE STUPID!!! IT BURNS!!!!
We managed to leave the hotel by around noon-ish and set on our way back home, stopping at a little diner on the way to I-80 East called "Beverly's Diner". Cheap and delicious, definitely a nice place to stop if you have plenty of time (only one cook with a small stove).

Posted 13 years agoI just saw the dumbest reason so to why fursuits photos (beyond the scope of what's currently happening) should be prohibited from FA.
The person said that because you are just in a costume and are actually a human, it should be prohibited and that FA is only for art. I wish to counter that with another logical argument.
Since you are actually human, you shouldn't be allowed to post art of your anthro character, since the person the character is based on is STILL a human.

Death in the family.

Now we have to worry about the wake and then the funeral. Probably thursday and friday.
Also my aunt refuses to allow my cousin to reschedule her engagement party on saturday due to the death so we're stressing over what's happening with that.
There's also several little things at home that are raising my stress level so don't expect me to be very chatty, bouncy, or happy.
I'd greatly appreciate it if people don't be all stupid and silly towards me for a bit. Thanks.
