A Matter of Perspective Release
Posted 11 hours agoSo, I am on the home stretch of wrapping up this 400+ page book called A Matter of Perspective. No doubt the biggest project I have undertaken in my writing career and will be the official launch of my very own setting. The incredible support people have given me, I cannot thank them all enough for what they have done to help since the start of the year.
While I may have started writing this at the beginning of 2025, I have planned this project since July 2024. That's right, I have been planning this for almost 1.5 years and during the creation of Across the Pond. In Across the Pond, there are elements that foreshadow elements of A Matter of Perspective. It is not just a continuation and expansion of my setting, but it aims to answer some questions or mysteries that were hinted at in Across the Pond.
There are so many ideas that I have included in this book, which I cannot wait to share.
For the release, how it will work is that Part 1 and Part 2 will have their own separate release and will be as follows:
Part I:
Chapter 1 - 27th November 2025
Chapter 2 - 5th December 2025
Chapter 3 - 12th December 2025
Chapter 4 - 19th December 2025
Chapter 5 - 26th December 2025
Chapter 6 - 2nd January 2026
Chapter 7 - 9th January 2026
Chapter 8 - 16th January 2026
Chapter 9 - 23rd January 2026
Chapter 10 - 30th January 2026
END OF PART I
INTERVAL - 1st February 2026 - 28th February 2026
[u]Part II:[/i]
Chapter 11 - 1st March 2026 (Start of Macro March)
Chapter 12 - 8th March 2026
Chapter 13 - 15th March 2026
Chapter 14 - 22nd March 2026
Chapter 15 - 29th March 2026
Chapter 16 - 5th April 2026
Chapter 17 - 12th April 2026
Chapter 18 - 19th April 2026
Chapter 19 - 26th April 2026
Chapter 20 - 3rd May 2026
Chapter 21 - 10th May 2026
Chapter 22 - 17th May 2026
Chapter 23 - 24th May 2026
Chapter 24 (Final) - 31st May 2026 (End of Micro May)
END OF PART II
Epilogue - 7th June 2026
While I am nervous about releasing it, I am going to tear the plaster off and trust that people will enjoy the project. It has been almost a year since I started and on the 27th of November 2025, the journey will begin.

A Matter of Perspective
Posted a month agoHello all! I know I have posted a few updates regarding my book 'A Matter of Perspective', but this one honestly brings me so much to announce.
As of today, I have FINISHED the draft for the core story. After 9.5 months of brainstorming, planning, and writing, I have written 23 chapter's to lay out the core story. I will add a prelude, prologue, epilogue, a dedication, and acknowledgement section in due course. The epilogue will serve as a separate piece that won't build on the core story, which I shall write during the weekly release of the book. Once the prelude and prologue are written, I shall upload those separately, either a separate PDF upload together or alongside the book cover. Every chapter, including the epilogue, will be released weekly for 24 weeks.
For now, I am going to eat a pizza to celebrate, and edit. But yes, the 9.5 month project to get a core story laid out is done. Words cannot express how much joy it has brought me to get to this point. After aspiring to have a setting of my own for 4 years ever since I joined this fandom, it has finally come to pass with not just 'Across the Pond', but a sequel that will expand the setting further to show life in the United Kingdom for Vastelerians (Macros), Petritans (Micros), and Ascendants (descendants of mixed size couples). It will include various pieces of lore and concepts that I will not just touch upon and expand in this book, but look to integrate into separate short storys down the line.
A Matter of Perspective will be the origin of my sona, while portraying parts of myself too. The creation of this book has been a rollercoaster of a journey (all good, but with moments of anxiety) that I couldn't have gone through without my friends. Through this story, I have poured parts of myself too, which my friends will spot the parallels between myself and my wolf's journey. To be at the end of drafting the core, I still have hints of anxiety left on whether this will live up to the expectation and hype people have shown, but I do hope it does.
To the people who have supported me, whether emotionally, reviewing the books progress, editing, brainstorming...I cannot thank you all enough. The names of those will be included in the acknowledgements page and shown shortly before the books release.
I look forward to seeing how people take to the book, to my setting, and hoping it will be well received.
Synposis:
Wrestling with no sense of purpose, identity, or belonging; Lupus Kintsugi is set down a path to steer himself through a nation divided by scale.
Born Petritan-sized, Lupus resented the hierarchy that privileges Petritans while marginalising Vastelerians, anthros with certain genetic markers that cause them to be many times the size of a Petritan. With little power to reverse these segregation policies, he pursued journalism to give a voice to the voiceless and challenge the society's propaganda. His articles, however, this places him at odds against a social culture that opposes cohabitation.
Lupus Kintsugi's mission to undo the damage The Division created is thrown off-course when he is forced to embark on a path of self-discovery - one that will test his resilience and bring him closer to answering the questions that haunt him.
Who am I?
What is my purpose?
Where do I belong?

Lupus Kintsugi Discord Server
Posted 2 months agoHello all!
There has been a development with what is going on in my country. More social media sites have fallen victim to the new online policy, and I am concerned whether or not furaffinity will be accessible in the future. Because I cannot be certain with that, I want to ensure that I can continue to share content and store it somewhere. So, I have created a discord server with all my stories and art.
In this server, I will use it to advertise raffles, story YCH's, updated on future upcoming projects and more. Already the latest story ych included a piece featuring Alex, so expect plenty more. It will be wear I advertise stuff like that moving forward.
There will be sections in the server for all members to socialise, share theirs and others content. I hang out on the voice chat regularly and in text, so it would be great to really get to know you wonderful peeps. Already the server has been going strong for the last month, and man I couldn't be happier. We welcome anyone 18 and over so long as you respect the rules. If you are anxious, we will do what we can to support and make sure everyone has the opportunity to socialise, be included and encouraged. We support one another! 🤍
This is a 18+ server. This is a personal server where I will upload all my content, host raffles etc. It is nothing related to the writers server I advertised previously.

Across The Pond Sequel
Posted 5 months agoHey everyone! I don't usually share updates like this, but I have just hit the 40,000-word mark and completed the first draft of Part 1, so I thought it would provide an update.
I have not uploaded many stories lately because I have been allocating my writing time to the sequel of Across The Pond. While I did consider, and put plans together to do a sequel, after the immense supports and compliments people sent to for the first it, it encouraged me to do it even more.
The release date is unknown, especially since I am halfway, and have only done the draft for Part 1 of 2. But, I thought I'd let people know that I can confirm there will be more content for my setting. What I was also say, to those who have supported me during this project, I cannot thank you enough!
The synposis will remain secret until a cover has been drawn by an artist, which I have yet to decide who. If anyone has artist recommendations, do let me know too!
I really hope you all enjoy the next piece, and what will be the LONGEST story I have written to date.
So, I present to you, the official confirmation that the sequel to Across The Pond is in the works!
If anyone has not read the original, I have attached both the Furaffinity link below:

Mental Health Awareness Week 2025
Posted 6 months agoHello all!
It has been a long time since I have done a journal, and I had hoped to make this specific post yesterday but I was unable too. This week, from the 12th to 18th of May, is Mental Health Awareness Week.
The aim of this week is to bring people together to focus on helping one another boost our mental health, and this year the theme is 'Community'. And man, what a community we have in the furry fandom. One filled with such extraordinary people from various parts of the world. Some I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting and others I hope to one day meet.
To celebrate the power and importance of community when supporting Mental Health, either with a DM, a social media post, or tagging a friend, send one or more of the following:
- Check in! Send a 'Hello' to someone, because I am confident we our days get that much brighter when someone reaches out to you.
- A compliment! Send a complimentary message to someone. It doesn't have to be warranted, but a just because I wanted to kinda thing.
- A happy memory! Take a walk down memory lane. Recall either a time you spent together at a convention, a call, a game, or even got a commission together.
- A hug! Big or small or same size, send them a hug their way.
- Listen to what they have to say, whether good or bad. Sometimes just having an ear goes a long way.
We are all part of such a great community, so let us show our support and love for all those we hold dear. Everyone has their good and bad days, but that is how this life goes. We cannot have the good without the bad. Having the bad days does not define you, but what does define you as a person is your resilience to get through them. You are all loved and no one here is alone.
Have a FANTASTIC day all of you sweethearts!

Across The Pond Novel Appreciation Post
Posted a year agoSo, we are halfway into my Across The Pond novel, and I'm just stunned at the reception it has received from everyone. Whether it is FA comments, Twitter posts/sharing, or even server comments and private messages. The amount of positive feedback and compliments I have received is no where near what I expected. The enthusiasm and excitement I've seen from people is exactly what I wanted to create when doing this piece. Never did I imagine my first novel would be this well received, I just wish I could hug you all.
When I first started this piece it was to distract myself from certain events, and it did. But, I was hesitant about whether or not I should share it because you never know how your content will be received. With the support of three people, I created my very own setting and novel after aspiring to do it for 3 years, but never being confident enough to attempt it. I guess every creator is their own critic all. And now, it's out there, and I'm just so thrilled people have enjoyed it!
I wanna hear what people think of it so far!!! And, would you like to see more novels and short stories in this setting?
BTW, thank you all so so much for showing your support and praise! It means the world! 🤍🫂

1500 Watchers!
Posted a year agoWow, 1,500 watchers! I am lost for words. There are no words I can think of that convey how much I truly appreciate the support from you all.
After joining the fandom and releasing my first story 3 years ago, I never would have expected to be here surrounded with so much love and support. It has meant the absolute world to me to meet such phenomenal people, make awesome memories, and make wonderful friends. No matter how difficult things get, I am so so fortunate enough I have people to lean back on to pick me up.
Gosh, thank you! All of you! I cannot wait to share my upcoming novel that is still being tweaked ready for launch. Once that is released, it will be the start of my own setting where I will write more slice of life and wholesome content to expand this world.
You all have such a wonderful day, and again, thank you all! 🤍

First Novel Update:
Posted a year agoIt has been three months since I started planning and writing my first ever novel, and now the complete draft is complete. It is time to review, edit, and refine the various scenes and characters included. Once all is in order, it will be released chapter by chapter on a weekly basis to debut my own official setting. This is a milestone I have been determined to do since starting out as a writer. I hope you all enjoy when it comes out.
3 year anniversary in the fandom!!!
Posted a year agoWow, 3 years from today in this beautiful fandom and I just cannot believe it.
When I first came across this fandom, and fur affinity in particular, it was during a rough period in my life where I needed to write wholesome macro/micro stories as a way to ease everything that was going on. I came across some phenomenal writers along the way who were not just my inspirations, but some have become good friends of mine.
After I had my strength, I pursued to write my own works. And if you had told me then that in 3 years you would have 148 pieces, along with an audience who not only encourages you but supports you, I wouldn't have believed you. It has blown me away how much has changed in these three years. Not only have I gained more confidence in my writing, I am working on my own novel and world.
Outside writing, I cannot do an anniversary post without also thanking every single person who has been a dear friend and stuck by me since the days we met. I wish I could name drop every single person who's been a dear friend, but I don't think I have that much time in the day. So, instead, I will write a message in this journal to say thank you to them.
To those who've been there, you are not just the reason I smile and laugh, but are the reason I love myself, the reason I have grown in confidence and self esteem over the last 3 years. Words cannot begin to describe the level of appreciation I have for these exceptional fluffs, but I am confident they know who they are.
I really just want to say a huge thank you to you all, it has been a brilliant 3 years and I look forward to making plenty more memories along the way. It is not honestly a great pleasure to be part of this community, but to be accepted and welcomed by such a large group.
With a big hug from this arctic wolf, thank you all 💙🤍
All the best, and have a lovely day, Lupus x

Upcoming Novel!
Posted a year agoHello everyone! It's the weekend!!!!!!
So, for the last month and a bit, I have been working on my first ever novel that will feature three close friends of mine and my wolf sona. Now that I am almost approaching the half way stage in this project, I wanted to announce what is on the horizon. It will be the start of my own setting that I will work on over time, but this will lay the foundation to a potential second one focused on Lupus' lore (that remains up in the air). As it stands there are 33,000 words, 72 pages, and 5 chapters all written, drafted, and some are even edited. The story is set in a world close to our own where macros and micros co-exist.
The plot:
Due to the UK's current legislation on mixed size relations, Lupus was starved of the opportunity to interact with the larger than life beings in person. The closest the wolf came to engaging with a macro was online with his raccoon friend in the states, along with his partner and close friend. The four of them were a tight circle that grew closer over time. Soon, after a long while of interacting online, Lupus decided to spend two weeks in the state of Illinois, which included a weekend of camping. An entire weekend in the Shawnee National Forest with his two normal sized friends and one 35 meter tall macro femboy raccoon.
Who would be interested to read this?

I don't know what to do
Posted a year agoSomething I thought I buried years ago has just come back to haunt me, and I don't know what to do. I never want to burden those I love in the fandom so it might be best if I disappear for a bit. I want my friends to be happy, but I've learned that it is the case if Im not around.
I am so tired of being a burden or problem with those I love in this place, but the last time I faced this situation, I suffered a panic attack in 2022. I thought it was over, but it's come back once more. And, I don't want those I care about to be hurt because of me being weak.
They all deserve so much better than I can offer. This fandom is meant to be a community that encourages positivity and love, and I don't think I can offer that anymore. Not only have I wrestled the idea of leaving the fandom, but it would have been permanently.
I am doing everything I can to get the help I need, but whenever I see my friends in the fandom, I am reminded that they are better without me around. And maybe it's for the best that I disappear, because they don't deserve my issues, they deserve better.
I really loved my friends to pieces, I really really did. They mean everything to me. The love, the kindness, and support. It's meant the world. But they all deserve better than me, and that much is clear. I have no idea how my situation will go over the next coming days tbh.
But if things get worse, I don't think I could deal with bringing my friends into it, and that it's best to border up forever and fade. I just never thought I would have to deal with this again. It was meant to be over. Finished. Closed. But, I'm here again, and it hurts.
I just wish there wasn't a distance, I just wish I could hug my friends. It sounds stupid, but I wish I meant something. I wish I was worth remembering. I wish I mattered.

Story novel proposal
Posted 2 years agoNow that we started 2024, as I mentioned, gift stories will be almost rare from now on. It got to a point where I couldn't continue to produce stuff for others to the extent I desired, and it left me with little to no time for my own stuff. So, instead, moving forward I will focus on my own content and drafting my own world setting. Equally, I will be aiming to learn to draw to produce pieces to go alongside my stories (fingers crossed).
That brings me on to something I desired to do as a writer. When I first joined the fandom, I released an incomplete novel called "The Prophecy". However, I wish to try writing a novel again, and this time using the knowledge I've built the last 2.5 years, approach it carefully. Whether it be world building, characters, plot etc. I want to construct a piece that I can be proud of. As a writer, writing a novel and world of my own is something I've aspired to do, and it's a challenge that I want to succeed in. There is no time frame, but I'm going to be learning to draw and also draw a cover to go alongside. This is not absolute, but an aspiration and I want to see interest in this.
I already had in mind to do a romance story featuring a macro nerd and micro athlete. I like the dynamic of that, and if people like it, I might draw scenes in the story. There of course will be more finer details and plots that have yet to be worked out, and whether it is sfw/NSFW. Regardless though, it will encourage and embrace the wholesome elements that I came across when first finding the fandom. If I can do this, I would feel more confident as a writer, but I'm also intrigued to see what people would think about this kind of story.
Let me know your thoughts, it would be much appreciated! I do really hope to give this a go.

Happy New Year and Story Update
Posted 2 years agoFirst off I want to say a happy new year to all of you, and I truly hope that 2024 is a good one for everyone! Last year certainly offered a fair share of challenges and hardships for people, and I can only ask that this year is smooth sailing.
Secondly, I want to dedicate this post to announcing a change in how I will handle my writing moving forward. Over the last two years I have received immense support, love, and been around such amazing people. I have known such kindness before the fandom, and as a result I offered to write gift stories for those I love. That still stands today, but that number has grown and grown.
I am afraid I cannot keep up, and believe I have put myself in a position where I have over promised and let people down. I will own that, and I will apologize for that. I will treat this as a learning curve because I don't want to let my friends down or hurt them, they don't deserve it. I'll admit I felt if I offered a gift story and wrote one, that was my way of articulating my appreciation. However given I started this year with my first full time job, the people I lost, and unstable circumstances I couldn't deliver most of what I promised. Thus I will be undoing any gift story I promised that is not complete or started, because I just can't deliver it, and that is my fault. So much happened in my personal life that pushed me in a corner, and at the time I wrote for those who helped me in my time of need as appreciation. If I could write for everyone, god forbid I would in a heartbeat, instantly! Heck, I'm learning to draw to expand my ability to do gifts. Words cannot convey my self-frustration and guilt for doing this, but I just can't start the new year with this guilt.
Therefore, unless I do commissions, I will priortise trades and my own content as opposed to gifts. This is not a decision I take lightly, nor one I wished to make, but I never want to hurt anyone. It is for the sake of my mental health and for the respect of my friends. So, the gift stories will be extremely limited moving forward, but no longer a constant in my gallery. I accept full responsibility, but this is for the best for my healths sake because I have deteriorated and been broken for months, and I just need to find another way to show my appreciation and hope that my conversations are enough.
I love you all, lupus x

End of year thank you!!! 🤍💙🤍💙
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone! Now that we are approaching Christmas and the end of 2023, I thought I would send this appreciation post.
Firstly, I want to start by saying how much I have enormously appreciated the endless support you have all given me both as a writer and as a person. Each of you, each of the wonderful people I have met along the two years in the fandom have been an utter joy to have. And, to the 160+ followers on my channel, the 1.7k on Twitter, and 1.1k on FA. So, thank you ever so much for that.
Secondly, I am not sure how many stories I have rolled out this year, but it has been great fun bringing characters and ideas to life. Equally, it has also included the release of a story request form, which has already gained nearly 40 ideas. Hopefully, when things calm, I'll try to sort through them.
Thirdly, I have started to learn how to draw in hopes to get art pieces regularly in my own stories, but that's more of an aspiration at the moment. Fingers crossed 🤞.
Outside all that, I just want to thank every single one of you again for the endless support. And I just wanted to ask these questions out of sheer curiosity.
1. What was your favourite story that I have released this year?
2. Which story would you want to see a sequel or third part to in 2024?
3. Is there any plot or theme you wish for me to write more of in 2024?
Everyone, have an amazing Christmas and holidays. Enjoy your time with friends and loved ones. And to finish off, a big thank you and warm hug from me 🤍💙🤍💙

Mental health day - spread some love!
Posted 2 years agoAs today is Mental Health Day, I wanted to ask everyone who sees this to do the following;
1. Tag a friend in the comment with a compliment to them
2. Comment what you enjoy about the fandom
3. And let's have some self love, put something you like or enjoy doing.
Everyone here could use a hug every now and again, and it is important we all be there for one another in our times of need. We are a fandom, a community for a reason, and despite our goofiness we got to be there for one another.
Please, all of you, have a wonderful and lovely day. Today, do something or anything you really love doing and just love being your wonderful self!

1,000 watchers!!! >.< you guys!!!!!!
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone, just logged into fa and noticed I hit 1,000 watchers today and I am completely speechless. Never I had imagined I would hit this milestone, and I am truly appreciative of all the support people have given me over the last year on here. There is no way I can give back to you all, there's too many of you XD. But I have noticed I am close to 1,500 followers on Twitter. So, with that said, I will be hosting a raffle soon and if I hit 1500 followers before the end of September, there is a potential bonus prize/entry for this raffle.
Also, I do have a telegram channel that is 18+ only, which is where I'll be updating people on stories rather than Twitter. This will be the platform where I shall advertise the raffle and where entries will be submitted.
Regardless of that, I am really appreciate all of the immense kindness, support, and love people have given me. Thank you all so so much! I wanna hug you all so damn much right now! 🤍💙🤍💙
Curious question though, what story is your favourite? Gives me an idea of what themes to focus on or add moving forward.
