So I had a crazy idea that I would love to see drawn. If there's anyone out there who wants to give it a try, go for it! As a moderator on F-List, I'm commonly talking about my Ban Salmon™ in chat and I would love to see it come to life! Because inside jokes are always the funniest sort (to those who know them).

When I envision my Ban Salmon™, it has scowling eyebrows, a spiked collar, googly eyes, the words "Ban Salmon™" across the side with small caps letters, across the side of a rainbow trout. Seems fitting for someone half otter and half snow leopard to be wielding to deal punishments.

If anyone wants to help make this a thing drawn, I might have to love you forever.

Well, I think I've decided that I'm going to do it! I'm making a bit of a change to myself. I'll leave the otter half of myself alone, but I'm no longer going to be part fox. Instead, the fox part of me is going to change to snow leopard! I know that there are some who will miss the lovable and cute otterfox, but there will be an equally cute and lovable ottermew will be here! :3

And of course, with this change, there will be a change in look as well. Rather than the white I've always been, that will change into grey all over with leopard spots going all down my back and to my tail. My chest, belly, and underside of my tail is going to go from grey to tan as well! This means that there will be no more cute fox muzzle marks either. I'll probably keep the black bands in my fur and everything else that is there now. :3

I'm going to give this a try for a while, maybe even get some art to show how adorable I am like this. :P If it doesn't work out, I can always go back to the way I was. Wish me luck and hope things go well!

Well it took me long enough! I have a story that is going to be posted up very soon! A random idea came to me while I was laying in bed and it turned into a short story. :3 It's not a long one, but I think it's alright and it has potential to turn into a much bigger story! And it's adult, so that makes it more fun!

Now what I'm looking for is a possible proofreader or two before I send it out! If you are interested, feel free to respond here or note me with your email address! When I email out the document, further instruction comes in the email. Don't be shy!

So lots of things happen for me around the holidays, and even this year with the apocalypse that never happened. Starting on the 20th is my birthday, then 5 days later is Christmas, and a week after that is New Years! Then it's back to the regular year and just making it to the holidays 2013. And this was an exciting holiday for me!

My boyfriend decided to get me a computer that I can now use to play games and all of the fun stuff that I was missing out on due to me using his laptop. I wonder if it could have been partly a present to himself as well. So those of you who have Steam, don't be afraid to look me up! I go by LutraMustil....or just Lutra on there. You should see my purple badge of of myself made into an icon. I have all sorts of games and am always looking for others to play with!

Other than that, life goes on as it normally does, on my everlasting quest to collect all the otters on my watch list on here, and now IB too. I currently have a story that I'm collaborating on that I hope to have out soon! There's also the novel I've been working on for about 10 years now, I hope that I can get that out and written for others to enjoy!

And now it's nearly 10 pm, time for me to think about bed and get ready to crawl into it. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and I wish everyone a happy New Year!

Yay! I received my first bit of gift art from the always wonderful  lucario6. There may or may not be more on the way too, but I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. And since I'm on this topic....

I have been approached by a couple people who would like a picture with one of my characters or who want to do art of them. I am perfectly fine with this, but all I ask is that you let me know that you want to use my character. And I hope to have lots more coming of many more of my characters....maybe even some done by myself....when I have enough practice.

And as for the written art....I have something in the works that I hope many of you will like. I don't want to give away too much, but I will say sexy, slinky ferrets....yes, more than one. ;) It's going to be a sexy time had by all.

I am no longer employed, but I have a place where there is a good job possibility. Wish me luck on that. The reason I am now looking for work is because I was finally able to move out of my parents' place and in with my boyfriend! In regards to my story writing, I am working on a colab, have at least one other planned. Part one of the one I am working on is nearly finished.

I have at the moment 1,726 new messages, including 653 submissions and 1053 journals. I'll try and get through them all somehow.

Now, on to the interesting stuff! A little bit back, my boyfriend designed a collar for me with my help. At first, I thought he was kidding or that it would be several months in the making. Once we finish designing it, he says it's ordered. There's also a tag that will be coming for it, but they are a little behind in orders, so that's still got at least 3 weeks to go. I do have the collar now and it is comfy! I'll be posting a picture or two in the next few days.

I'm still open for doing colabs with others, just give me a PM or IM and we can go from there.

Alright everyone! I need your help. I have a wonderful idea inspired by a lovely story written by BunnyCub (changed enough to be my own still). I need everyone's encouragement and pushing to get it done! Don't let me let this one slip though and never get done like the myriads of other stories I've left in various stages of completion. This is not just one of those silly journals, this one is actually serious and something that I just had to share.

While at work today (and for those that don't know, I work at a locally owned pizzeria) something awesome happened today. I was wearing my self-made Pride necklace, like always and a woman asked me something out of the blue that astounded me, "So are you family or do you just like rainbows?"

I responded with a smile and said, "Both."

For those who don't know, "family" is code in the GLBT community for another who is in the community that was used a long time ago, when we couldn't be as open as we are now. It is the same as asking if someone is "a friend of Dorothy" (a reference to Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz, a movie that was popular among gays when it first came out).

This just brightened my day and made me feel not so alone out there in the world, that there are others just like me, fighting for the rights of everyone to show what they believe without suffering the persecution of others.

Link others to this when they are feeling alone and in need of hope to show that you are not alone out there. Share a little bit of hope with others. ^-^
