Update, Battling Demons :(
Posted 13 years agoSO I am yet battling demons again (though only I can see them :/) at the hands of my Drs. This sucks.
I will be spending the day trapped inside tomorrow due to this impending doom of a storm, so I am going to try and do a rainy day stream for most of the day. As well as get some stuff finished up if at all possible.
I am still here, still alive..I think, and still working on stuff. You saw my most recent work and I am REALLY putting a LOT of hours into your pictures to make sure you get the best of the best. SO you can at least be assured of that.

Posted 13 years agoSo after I finish what I have on my plate currently (hopping to post at LEAST 2 pics tonight and some throughout the week)
I was contemplating doing one of those group pictures, where there is a whole scene and each person buys a pre-drawn spot.
I actually wanted to go in the OPPOSITE direction of what most are doing and NOT do porn...I was thinking of a couple of different things.
Moulin Rough- Lotsa ruffles, Lingerie, fishnets and such, can be a back stage scene where all the gals are getting ready, featuring corsettes, breasts exposed, or pasties, and then maybe a side panel like a comic of 2 lucky gents who found a peep hole.
OR could be the girls dancing on stage and the gets in suits giving tips or dancing with the ladies.
(So Mostly women, for the first idea with just 2 male spots, the second could be equal parts male to female)
Belly Dance Troupe-This can be in Cabaret or Tribal Style and is of course open to BOTH Men and Women
Wild West Saloon- THIS could be fun, add some pony play (for furs that are ponies and furs that are not wearing the bridles and such like in actual pony play) The Bar Maids, the bad ass gunslingers and of course the Madam and the Guy with the Black hat (the bad guy) Could be fun
Gauntlet Legends- I thought this one up a while back, have people bid on the different classes from the expanded game, so ya know, Valkyrie, Warrior, Sorcerer, etc. then Joker, Medusa, Egyptian God (since Anubis is too constricting) Etc etc. I think I had a journal somewhere with them all listed. Also open to any other ideas you all would like to see me do as a multi character auction. Bidding would start at about 5$ to make it available for anyone to get in. And this would be a PAINTING not just the line art and color, so more time, more detail and over all a better, higher quality picture.

Posted 13 years agoSo last week pretty much sucked with the Hospital stuff. This week is a little better. Aside from spending 2 FUCKING HOURS at the car dealership for a service and oil change..ARGH!!!!!
Anyway, I am finishing up some pieces, and I SHOULD have most of the pictures completed by the end of the week. Or die trying.
I know I have been saying this for months, and I am really working my ass off trying to keep things in my life balanced.
Luckily we are making progress on the medical stuff, and even the ER visit shed some light on a LONG ongoing issue and we know what to do now.
I am starting a new med for the pain from the brain surgery Tomorrow night as well as some supplements for that and my OCD, so we'll see.
I had a WONDERFUL time on Saturday celebrating 3 years with my sweet
Juindalo I got the new tattoo, then made home made sushi for him, and pot stickers and Crab Rangoons (be jealous I ish a good wife) SO it was nice.
I have 2 pieces that are almost finished that will be posted (and maybe streamed) this evening.
Tomorrow I am at the Dr all fucking day, but the evening could hold another stream. I miss the evening streams, and I am hoping to get back on a schedule of streaming every night at the same time again here soon.
I have some new commission Ideas that I will be presenting soon, and as always that means a chance for a freebie or two so I can have examples :)
SO yeah things are getting better which means I can get back to concentrating on my art and such.

Hospital Visit
Posted 13 years agoSo Last night around 1am I was WRACKED with excruciating pain in my lower abdomen, to the point that I evaded up in the ER. If you REALLY need to know what I was there for I'll tell ya, but BTH it's girl stuff (ewwie)
Anyway we didn't get home until about 6am, and I got p 7am cause I was itchy all over SO I am going to crash here soon.....though watching the sun rise was rather nice.

Update and Stuffs
Posted 13 years agoFirst off I want to thank you all for being patient.
Last week..well, it was a rough week. Obviously the thing with the fellow dancer trying to Fuck Juindalo..yeah that would throw anyone especially as we are quickly approaching our 3 year anniversary (this upcoming Saturday, and yes gifts of art or goodwill are excepted)
But He and I are strong and we were able to overcome. We FINALLY heard back from the culprit and she was pinning it ALL on him, saying that she wanted HIM to tell me, and that she was trying to help HIM out of a place where he was obviously feeling stuck and unhappy....rriigghtttt....and her STD ridden twat was the answer apparently...

My Sweet Juin is better then that. Plus to be graced with the magnificent Penniss of Juindalo is an honor unto itself...where was I going with this... Oh yeah right, things are fine. We never even had a shake in our relationship, it was more waiting on her to respond, and losing what I thought was a true friend.
The day of Dance thing went really well......except for the fact that no one really showed up >.< and I was pet sitting 3 animals this weekend. I am freaking BEAT. But I have this week and many to come of free time so I have already started work on the pictures that are owed (YAY) and inspiration is on my side! Here is the BEST Inspiration I have ever heard in my ENTIRE Life, yes I have the song and I listen to it every morning and multiple times a day.

So while we are speaking of dance, there are a few awesome things in the news, first would be this

Yes I WILL be in that book. That awesome little blue thing I have on my shoulder (pictured here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8230680/) is their Symbol the Umlout or UmSigil. And I has one. And since it is their 10th anniversary they are making a book of ALL the people that have one..and I has one...so ahem. SQUEE!!!!!!
This means so much..it's like one of those long term goals like winning the lottery that you think would never happen..and that Amy and Karri went with me?! Just..I can't even believe it happened. I thought MAYBE I would get one at some point, probably when I was out in Cali or something, but, just wow..after having met Unmata only 7 months earlier then seeing them again...and getting it...and now I get to be in a book forever immortalized as to why I got it and what it means to me...*faints*
That's the lesson Kiddies...NEVER think your dreams are too big or are impossible, because they aren't. I don;t know how, but I guess if you just want it enough and put forth the energy and work you can achieve anything. And this is from someone who had back to back brain surgeries and SURVIVED.
Small interesting side note..I had my 2 year post operative cognition test (man that thing makes you feel stupid as HELL) Anyway, there has been NO significant change in my cognition since surgery. Actually some things have gotten better. Apparently I am better with my left hand then I was before surgery, and statistically better then most other right handed people. I also found out that my memory is AMAZING with pictures. (AKA they flask 15 pictures then flash like 30 pictures and you hit the space bar when you recognize them) I did stellar on that, so that is helping me understand how I learn more. Like in dance and in art, so yeah..understanding how I learn, means I can learn more. Cool huh.
So yeah, things are going in the right direction :D
After I finish ALL the commissions new and backlogged I will be taking regular commissions more regularly, as well as starting 2 different funds. (one at a time of course)
The Fire Sword Fund(so I can do more stuff like this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8502607/)
I wish to purchase one and start to dance with it, they are a Lovely prop and seeing as I have a kick ass teach whom I will be seeing again in February, I would like to get this. SO I needs the monies.
I will be holding special "FIRE" commissions for this. The pictures will allow me to play with light more and also..hey fire is awesome right? Your character will be featured with a fire instrument of your choice, more to come on that soon, and I will probably offer a free example.
The Next one will be the "I need to get my ass out to California" Fund.
It's where I need to be. I would like to go on a month long vacation and hang with my Unmata Homies as well as some of the other AMAZING Belly dancer friends I have made, just chill with em, BBQ oh yeah and DANCE. I plan to get not 1 but 3 certifications while I am there. Level 1 (at least) Fat Chance Belly Dance, Fat Chance Belly Dance Teacher Certification(so that where I dance out of now will become a sister studio as well as I can teach the official FCBD style of ATS) and my level 1 (at least) Suhalia certification. Her Mother is like the Godmother of all Belly dance, and you need to be level 3 Suhalia before you can even take a SINGLE Jamile (her mother and founder of most tribal belly dance) Classes. The woman (Jamila) is 80 freaking years old and she is STILL teaching and STILL a bad ass.
I plan to come back fomr this said trip wiht at LEAST 3 abs, a couple more tattoos and a wealth of Belly dance knowledge. I want to teach, perform share, grow and learn. And I want to BE somewhere where I am accepted. This whole C-word belly dancer situation with Juin really made me realize that I NEED dance friends, I NEED to be around like minded individuals, and the outpouring of support from you all is what really got me to that place.
I Will TRY and go to a Con or two as the Belly Dancing Jackalope and start making some new friends in the Fur community. Yes there is a LOT of Drama, but you all are a HELL of a lot more accepting then some of the other people I know. So might as well give back.
Wonder if I could do a Fire dance in my jackalope Costume...I could balance the flaming sword on my antlers....Bone doesn't burn that fast right? and Hello Bad ass picture am I right!?!?
So as you can see I am in much better spirits. I have a new pain management Dr and we are trying to do some new treatments for my pain, which is WONDERFUL. This Dr is at the forefront of headache pain relief. and they have a LOT of different avenues I can go. And HUZZA no Pic line!!!

That friend of mine that came down From Canada to go to Tribal Solstice with me..
Who got free room and bored @ Juin's place, got a free ride to and form the Festivle (2 hours each way) got to stay in our hotel room some of the time....Oh But of COURSE when she gets home she goes Sky Diving, and gets professional Phtos taken and such..cause hell she saved a TON of money!
Apparently while I was IN THE HOSPITAL GETTING SURGERY she thought it portent to get shit faced, start telling Juin how horrible I am to him and that "she could have a lot of fun with him" Oh and BTW I MAY have an STD Let's Fuck!

This is the SAME person who sent me Flowers when I had the Botox done. And the Fucking Bitch didn't have the decency to even tell me.
She want so far as to actually Pass out in Juin's Bed with him in it..so he promptly got up and slept on the couch.
Juin being a sweet mate didn't tell me right away because he knew how important having a REAL LIFE friend is for me. I sit at home..alone. I only see him. I Dance but I am not really as much a part of the Dance community as I want to be because everyone around here SUCKS (the upper level dancers) Hell the only dancers I see around here are the people at the studio..2 people.
I am so fucking SICK of being alone and lonely.
I Just ADORE having people who act like they are my friends talk shit about me while I am in the fucking hospital the try and FUCK my mate!!!!!!!!
Ugh.
SO yeah, I have 1 week to prepare for the Day of Dance Celebration, get my workshops in order and I feel like shit.
I want to just sit and immerse myself in art. Just that. I feel even worse I have not been as productive hell in the last YEAR then I should be. That people are waiting on pieces and I do NOT like that. I try and strive for the UTMOST professionalism..but god damnit I've HAD IT!
I sit here every fucking day alone, and in pain, trying like HELL to just do SOMETHING. I was excited to have a friend to go to a Huge Dance Festivle with me..shit I got my Unmata tattoo and I NEVER thought that would happen.
Lord knows what she has been saying to the other dancers behind my back. And the WHOLE time like a stupid ass I am telling her "no you're not a bad person, you are awesome and I will keep reminding you of that"
Fuck it!
I strive for kindness and this is what I get! Even on here! Not too long ago someone was offering me help and honestly things were a little chaotic and I couldn't do it at that moment, now I have asked for the info again..IGNORED
SO this is what's gonna happen.
I am going to work on art all week. Get as much as humanly possible done even if it means I don't get to bed until 2am every night then up at 7am.
I will do the Day of Dance Celebration, and then I am fucking done.
I struggle and work so god damned hard EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY to even function..and honestly I don't have to. After all the shit I have been through, I don;t have to try and stay sane. Nope. So I am going to a treatment Facility for a little vacation.
I am SO sick of fighting a losing battle with this god forsaken OCD and PTSD and mood disorders and pain and just SHIT.
I am tired of betraying myself and you all my friends, watchers and commissioners by not getting the work done like I should be. It is fucking KILLING me. I LOVE the art, and i LOVE creating it, and I practically whip myself every fucking night for NOT getting the work done. I am trying so fucking hard and no one even knows it.
I don't know what to do..or say.
I just don't.
The art will get done. Because I respect each and every one of you who has commissioned me in the past, and present. And I will pour every last little bit of what I have into your pieces. I Promise.
after that..when there is nothing left....I guess we'll see
I don't know if Juin and I's wedding will take place. Not because we are having relationship troubles or anything, we SOLVED the god damned problems. We are fine, but all the fucking money I lost for that "last Hurrah" festivle AND having to pay for a 3rd person. Breaks my god damned heart. All my life I have wanted to find that special someone and be married....I guess maybe it just isn't for me..I don't know. I Love Juin and we do great together, we really do...Hell my 25 year old Niece is getting married after a MONTH of being engaged...that fucking hurts when Juin and I are coming up on 3 years being together and 2 years engaged.
But I am just too sick. The damned Mental illness is taking me over an inch at a time and is getting to the point I can;t combat it anymore at ALL.
I had my first full on flashback the other night. I was literally in a different place and time. Scared the shit out of Juin. it's BAD...whatever.
(And No Juindalo did NOT sleep with her. He has too much respect for me for that. The reason he waited so long to tell me was because he knew that at some point she was a good friend and didn't want me to lose a friend, especially not like that. So Juindalo didn't do anything with her at all. And of course he defended me against the things she was saying about me, so just a little FYI)

I strive for kindness and this is what I get! Even on here! Not too long ago someone was offering me help and honestly things were a little chaotic and I couldn't do it at that moment, now I have asked for the info again..IGNORED
SO this is what's gonna happen.
I am going to work on art all week. Get as much as humanly possible done even if it means I don't get to bed until 2am every night then up at 7am.
I will do the Day of Dance Celebration, and then I am fucking done.
I struggle and work so god damned hard EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY to even function..and honestly I don't have to. After all the shit I have been through, I don;t have to try and stay sane. Nope. So I am going to a treatment Facility for a little vacation.
I am SO sick of fighting a losing battle with this god forsaken OCD and PTSD and mood disorders and pain and just SHIT.
I am tired of betraying myself and you all my friends, watchers and commissioners by not getting the work done like I should be. It is fucking KILLING me. I LOVE the art, and i LOVE creating it, and I practically whip myself every fucking night for NOT getting the work done. I am trying so fucking hard and no one even knows it.
I don't know what to do..or say.
I just don't.
The art will get done. Because I respect each and every one of you who has commissioned me in the past, and present. And I will pour every last little bit of what I have into your pieces. I Promise.
after that..when there is nothing left....I guess we'll see
I don't know if Juin and I's wedding will take place. Not because we are having relationship troubles or anything, we SOLVED the god damned problems. We are fine, but all the fucking money I lost for that "last Hurrah" festivle AND having to pay for a 3rd person. Breaks my god damned heart. All my life I have wanted to find that special someone and be married....I guess maybe it just isn't for me..I don't know. I Love Juin and we do great together, we really do...Hell my 25 year old Niece is getting married after a MONTH of being engaged...that fucking hurts when Juin and I are coming up on 3 years being together and 2 years engaged.
But I am just too sick. The damned Mental illness is taking me over an inch at a time and is getting to the point I can;t combat it anymore at ALL.
I had my first full on flashback the other night. I was literally in a different place and time. Scared the shit out of Juin. it's BAD...whatever.
(And No Juindalo did NOT sleep with her. He has too much respect for me for that. The reason he waited so long to tell me was because he knew that at some point she was a good friend and didn't want me to lose a friend, especially not like that. So Juindalo didn't do anything with her at all. And of course he defended me against the things she was saying about me, so just a little FYI)

Posted 13 years agoAs you all may have noticed, I have been kinda MIA lately. I apologize. I have actually been rather sick. Physically as well as mentally, and have Dr appointments out the wazoo. I will be posting a finished piece today, and ALL the special priced wing its are sketched to some degree of completion.
I Had a Dr appointment today and they started me on some new antibiotics, so we are waiting to see if I am allergic or not, so no streaming tonight, but the work I will be doing tonight will prepare for the stream TOMORROW (trusting that I will be feeling well enough, keep your fingers crossed) and I can start inking some pics for people :)
I REALLY appreciate these commissions and have been having a blast doing them, and I hope you all will like what I have done with your amazing characters.

Posted 13 years agoSO there were some technical Difficulties on Friday, which was the evening that I wanted to stream, that sucked, but it happens, and then Saturday I was scheduled for some hard time in the dance studio. I need to go over a piece that I will be doing a duet with her. FYI working with a professional production company owner/director is HARD freaking work. But I did well and the duet we are working on is going to be EPIC. Miles and just SO far above my usual dance videos. I realize when I am at the studio that I really do sorta dumb things down depending on what events I am at. Which just means I need to dance at different shows, different places where with the higher quality of dance is expected and understood.
So back to the point at hand.

The thing that sounds like death screaming most of the time is me..I had Laryngitis..but seriously? how could you NOT scream for THIS

So I have decided to give this a try..the "proper" way to do wing its..and because it is a rainy day, I figured I would offer a discount to my usual prices.
I have also wanted to draw more..unique species, so if you have an alien, or unusual dragon, or some sort of interesting hybrid that is out of the common pool of species on here, even unusual mammals, then you can get an even LARGER discount
::Side note I am NOT being prejudice against the other mammals and reptiles and avians, I am just sorta interested in drawing some more unusual things, so don't feel left out or get upset, there are plenty of fun discounts to go around, and I WILL have something special for the non-strange characters another time::
So! Here is how it will work.
I will go down the list, and when your name is called, (I will be speaking on Mic, but will type it to be sure) You send the payment and I will create a full body, full color picture of your character(s) {there ARE some couples options} and create a picture for you using my inspiration and discretion. There ARE some things you get to choose and I will get to that in a moment. SO essentially this is a "Traditional;" wing it where I just make it up on the spot :D
What you get to choose
Theme- Pin up, Adult Solo, Belly Dancer, Adult Couple, Picturesque Couple, and Grab Bag!
{Grab bag means I will pic a theme I think fits your character the best}
Rating-G-XXX
and the rest is up to me :D
These will be done live, and that is why I ask that you pay ONLY when it;s your turn, so that I don't have carry over of these. I apologize to my watchers friends and fans for not letting you all know how the surgery went...
I'm sorry, we were all in kind of a whirlwind afterwards. It went alright. Hurt quite a bit more then last time, was NOT happy to be awake, and one of my Dr.'s lackies told me my AVM grew back and I cussed him out..then he yelled at me...a bag of Adivan later and my Dr Came and saw me..told me that his little lacky didn't know what the fuck he was talking about (shocker) and everything was fine. Nothing had grown back. I instructed him to warm up his pimp hand and teach that little shit a lesson...he warmed up his pimp hand and did so.... I <3 my Dr. This particular one is the only one that can deal with me LOL
So yeah there is some vascular stuff going on, but it's nothing bad..they don;t like to see the veins and such growing back this way because it's Derp , painful, but not life threatening, or dangerous etc.
So that went as well as it could go I should say.
I got home, was compilating my adventures in Ft.Lauderdale at Tribal Solstice, Videos, pics awesomeness (AKA my new tattoo SQUEE!!) And I went to support my studio and dance on Saturday...yes that is 3 days after surgery..I am a stubborn ass I know this....and I overdid it and am now sick.
Saw the Dr Today, got antibiotics etc, and I should be feeling better soon.
Also if any of you are thinking of getting one of those electric cigarettes...freaking DON'T!!! I bought the cloud or whatever..and I was freaking allergic to it..I took it back and got a refund, but it still gave me laryngitis, Thrush, and then this fuckery that is turning into bronchitis. And FYI Coughing this freaking hard with internal bruising...NOT fun!!!
So yeah, IMO it's safer for me to just smoke in moderation. I know it's bad for you blah blah, but if you aren't smoking like 2-3 packs a day, and are careful, get a lot of exercise (which I do..how many smokers you know that can dance for 2-3 hours at a time, like REALLY hard stuff that I do Hmmm?), keep your lungs healthy, then yeah, I mean, shit I don;t do anything else bad. I don't drink, I don;t do drugs (though at this point even the Drs are wanting me to try Pot to see if it would get the pain under control) I smoke in moderation, and it helps at 4am when I am in agony and waiting for pain meds to kick in.
ok, ok, enough of this emo BS. I will be feeling better soon, then will write a super journal full of bad ass pics and such, video FIRE all sortsa stuff.
Also got some commissions on the verge of being Finished, which means I will be taking new ones again FINALLY ugh. But glad I could do right by the people that commissioned me and I will continue to do so.

Getting Ready for the Week of Awesome!
Posted 13 years agoSo Tomorrow my good Belly dance friend Flies in from Canada. My Hair has BRIGHT Violet hi-lights, a blue black under neath, and turned my normal burgundy into a raspberry color...I'm a crunch Berry!
Gonna do some wicked Henna, then Off to Ft.Lauderdale on Wednesday!
From the 6th-11th both Juindalo and I will be gone. We'll have the lap top with us for photos and check ins and such. I am going to work on as much art as I can tonight and hopefully post some, maybe even stream.
But yeah, looking forward to the week of awesome .

Posted 13 years agoOk SO June is going to be a VERY interesting month (expect insane photos of me having the time of my life with some VERY funky hair and maybe a new tattoo if my mater plan goes as..planned)
First off Form now until the 4th I am going to be working my glorious Jackalope ass off on the backlogged commissions. they WILL be done. (working on them now actually and more streams, LOTS more streams)
Sorry for yet another delay to those I said stuff would be given by a certain date..I should know better by now, nothing in my life is certain..live and learn, realize my boundaries with the brain surgery stuff.
Last weekend kinds knocked me out, for those that don't know I live in Florida, so Hurricane/Tropical storm, whatever+Migraine condition aggravated by pressure=Jackalope stuck in bed.
But I'm better now.
So! What is so special about June 4th you ask? Well a fell AWESOME Belly Dance from the LOVELY Country of Canada will be Flying down to join Juindalo and myself at TRIBAL SOLSTICE (WOOOO!!!!!) (Also hence the weird pics and crazy hair)
I will be in Ft.Lauderdale Fl rocking out with some of the Best and Biggest Names in Belly Dance, who will be doing their level best to kick my ass in these 2-3 hour workshops.
I will be gone from the 6-11.
It's going to be AWESOME. I AM performing at the kick off show, so the video of that will be posted probably Friday night, and I somehow got shanghaied into taking a fire class..yes they are giving me fire...one a sword or whip...sounds like a REALLY good idea :/
Anyway, since I am in the fire class I will also be a part of the after party or closing Solstice party..thing..lotsa fire and craziness. The teacher for this class has a freaking Ram head that has prongs which are lit on fire that she wears. This chick is NOT to be messed with.
So yeah I am SUPER looking forward to that....now comes the not so fun part.
I WILL be going back into the Hospital on the 13th of June. It;s an outpatient Procedure (cranial angiogram) but for the first 5-7 days I gotta take it easy, plus I probably won;t be able to see. After that I have 30 days of no strenuous activities. SO that means my Jackalope butt (now finely toned from the Belly dance stuff) will either be in my computer chair, on the deck, or in Bed. No dancing, no running about...no sex...(expect a LOT of pron from me AND Juindalo over the next 30 days ::P)
I Digress, the GOOD thing about this is
A- after this angio I will NEVER have to have another one again if it comes up clean, which they think it will (YAY)
B- with all that sitting around and my commissions finished, I will have ALL the time in the world for NEW commissions. I have some new ideas, and such, so take a gander at this commission specials list(CLICK HERE FOR SPECIALS!) to see what I'm talking about. I DO have some of the auctions posted listed in the commissions page ESPECIALLY the "Nothing I won't Draw" Auction, which is an important one. I wanna give those furs that have different likes that MAY not be as widely enjoyed a chance to get some art from me. As I have stated before..I know I am not all that and a bag of chips, but in some of the generas there are just not many artists that draw that stuff, or paint it etc. SO I wanna branch out a little.
But either way I will be doing more streams and will take on new commissions.
C-Sine my commission que will be empty, I can get back into my old rhythm of doing things AKA not taking for freaking ever. If you think it annoys you, trust me it annoys me more. I sit with my tablet one for HOURS trying to get shit going and my damned OCD is just being a bitch. It SUCKS (currently sitting with the tablet on now..program is not pulled up, I will be lucky if I can get started by 8) Anyway. With a clean slate I can keep better control and better track of things so this doesn't happen again. I got overloaded somehow, and my brain..tis not well. I forget, get disorganized, and coming from a pretty organized person it;s hard to all of a sudden have no idea what;s going on. SO a clean slate and PLENTY of time to pace myself will be good for everyone. So if anyone is wary of commissions from me due to the fact I take forever, that is changing and that I CAN promise. I won't take on more then I can handle, and I will be doing things one at a time. Just to better serve you all and not stress me all to hell. I HATE taking forever, and it makes me feel like a shitty artist. SO no more of that.
So that is basically the run down. I will be sure to take LOTS of pics, and have Juindalo update the day I am in the Hospital on what's going on. And hopefully you all can help me pass this month of blah with some awesome new art ideas :D

So in other news, I had my Encore presentation of my Tribal Workshop "Dip Your Toe Into Tribal"
Ok so the first one I did last month..basically only two people showed up...still fun, still felt good I got to teach....well little did I know..over the last month word has been spreading about how awesome and fun the class was.
I Show up at the studio...and from the car Juin and I see all these people walking around in Belly dance practice clothes.. flared work out pants, hip scarves etc etc...and we're like WTF?
Last count when I talked to the studio owner on Friday..2 people had registered, one said they were coming, then a friend from here said she would be there and my mom..cause I'm awesome like that yes my mom comes to my belly dance classes.
So I figure "ok probably about 6 people total including the owner..double what I had last time..so not bad"
I was WRONG in a good way. There was not a SINGLE space left for another student on that dance floor. Holy Crap!!!
I got to be a REAL Belly dance Instructor! Not in a class in a Freaking 2 HOUR Workshop! Lil' Ol' Me!
I have never felt more...IDK..accomplished in my life. I mean Dancing with Unmata and performing at the Beledi Beach bash was the start of me feeling like I could actually MAYBE achieve my dreams.
But all this shit lately with the brain surgery stuff for the last year and a half..the pain the Drs the Bullshit treatments...ugh. and THEN being told that I have to go back to the hospital (Most likely the day AFTER I get home from Tribal Solstice)
So I never though my dreams would become a reality.
I Perform.. with the Big Dogs...I take Advanced workshops with the big dogs...and I teach...Workshops..not just classes like a big dog..
I guess I can now say with confidence that I am a Big Fucking Dog (well maybe a Medium dog like a Corgi or something LOL)
I feel so blessed. Surviving back to back brain surgeries and in 2 years..danced with my idols, performed at the gala show with them, was invited to a By invitation only show to perform, taught not one but TWO workshops, and next month I will be dancing with some of the Greats of Belly Dance AND Performing TWICE Once at the Kick off show with ALL the big dog belly dancers watching..I am part of the entertainment and THEN at the after party with freaking Fire!
WHAT!?!?!?!
I mean seriously? after brain surgery I should count my lucky stars I can WALK or function and my ass is playing with FIRE.
My Friends, watchers, commissioners and supporters. Thank you for being there for me. For being patient while I worked on your art through the good days and bad days. And I give you this in return. Do Not EVER Give up on your dreams. No matter WHAT you have been through, no matter how hard your life is or the adversities you face are...don't...give..up...

Yes juindalo and I have found our Kitty! Well he sorta found us through friends in Ft.Lauderdale.
Apparently one of the Beautiful Fae that I met during the Faerie Show (who I became friends with and is obviously also a person :P) Her and her Partner found this Lovely Brown Tabby all alone in the gutter basically. He had been fixed and given his shots, so they assumed he belonged to someone. SO they put up Fliers and such and asked around to see if they could find his owners. They could not, then they tried the shelters (no kill shelters only) and they were ALL Full, tis Kitten season after all, Which poses the other problem, anyone they knew that DID want a cat wanted to pick out their OWN younger kitten (he;s roughly 6 months old, plenty of kitten in there) So they were stuck. And Juin and I had been talking about getting a Kitty (Finally) for a while, as our Wedding Fast Approaches.
He is super sweet and snyggly and apparently has a meow that sounds like a 70 year old smoker hehe!
So we decided to take him! We will be picking him up in Ft.Lauderdale when we go down for my next Big Belly dance thing (Tribal Solstice AWESOME) the first weekend in June, and then we will bring our sweet kitteh home!!!
They were calling him Tippermonk, but we have had our kitty name picked out for a while.

I will add SOME color, or I will keep it to the traditional reddish orange of natural Henna, or black (not a color of henna and black henna is evil and dangerous never use it) but the black will be for more of a design style.

I will NOT be performing in this showcase. As someone pointed out, and as I said myself I'm just not feelin' it. I WANT to dance, I LOVE to perform, but I won't kill myself getting ready for a show that I'm not really excited about.
Now to a show that I AM really excited about, the Faerie Show. I have posted a pic with this link as well, but take a gander at the pics from the show, there are a TON of AMAZING costumes and dancers, and of course pics of yours Truly as the Ice Fae.
It was awesome, completely and totally. Once I get the Video I will post it, I MAY even have a little Livestream showing of the ENTIRE show if there are enough people interested. It was SO amazing!
I definatly found my place in the world of dance. Which subsequently means I need to scoot out to the West Coast, cause that's where all this kind of stuff really is.
But for now I am concentrating on Holding a Showcase in Jacksonville, so if there are any Furs there that like to Sing, dance, act, whatever, please let me know. It Will be a Quentin Tarantino Themed Showcase. So yeah..more info to come on that later :)

So I am off to crash on the Luxurious King sized bed and then up to finish some last Min costuming and such. Gonna be a nice mini vacation.

Finally got the Treatment *UPDATE* ...31 shots later >.<
Posted 13 years agoSo yes today I FINALLY got the Botox for my pain management for the occipital neuralgia that happened after my brain surgery in October 2010. It's been a LONG year (almost year and a half) but here we are.
ahem...31 shots...yeah.
OW! these things fucking HURT!
Why....WWHHHYY anyone would get this done cosmetically..like on purpose..seriously...just..seriously..
Either way. It's FINALLY been done. I will *hopefully* now have 3 months with at LEAST a 50% pain reduction. And seeing as I have been plowing forward with only a 20% pain reduction(max), doing 7 performances 6 months after surgery, meeting my idols and now being invited to perform in invitation only shows...
50% is gonna blow everyone's socks off. I hope.
So that's my update. Obviously my head/face fucking hurts right now so I am off to bed.
Side note I thank well anything that will have it for Juindalo, he sat there and help my hand today while I received these shots, and were it not for him I would have passed out. He helped me be strong. And you all KNOW that I am not one to pass out easily. After the 10 hours of surgery, and everything else I am a strong cookie. That should be able to give you an idea about what this felt like.

Why....WWHHHYY anyone would get this done cosmetically..like on purpose..seriously...just..seriously..
Either way. It's FINALLY been done. I will *hopefully* now have 3 months with at LEAST a 50% pain reduction. And seeing as I have been plowing forward with only a 20% pain reduction(max), doing 7 performances 6 months after surgery, meeting my idols and now being invited to perform in invitation only shows...
50% is gonna blow everyone's socks off. I hope.
So that's my update. Obviously my head/face fucking hurts right now so I am off to bed.
Side note I thank well anything that will have it for Juindalo, he sat there and help my hand today while I received these shots, and were it not for him I would have passed out. He helped me be strong. And you all KNOW that I am not one to pass out easily. After the 10 hours of surgery, and everything else I am a strong cookie. That should be able to give you an idea about what this felt like.

Awai/Juskani...I need some Help Finding her...

Recently I have gotten some notes wondering where Awai / Juskani has gone. Apparently she had posted someone else's art as well as taking money for a sketch book commission to which she never finished and has stopped contacting the purchaser of said sketchbook. There is an A_B post about her put there by the person who bought the sketch book.
Either way, there are people looking for her, and some of them are out money and such that was given to her for this that or the other.
We have all been in a situation where we have paid for something and then lost TOTAL contact with the person, it sucks. Or even if you haven;t something similar has happened to us all.
I talked to her last on this journal http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2740829/ Offering to do half off commissions to anyone who bought her characters.
There is also talk of weather or not she had the right to sell those characters since she did not draw them. She adopted them. But that is something I am just not even going to get into.
If anyone has any info PLEASE let me know. I am trying to help these people out since they came to me, and I am hoping some of you out there who were closer to her or had more contact with her could tell me where she went/what happened.

Happy Birthday to MEEE!!!!!
Posted 14 years agoSo yes today is my 27th birthday. I have NO idea how I will be spending the day, but I feel good. I LOVE My new Starfish tattoo which is actually almost healed completely already (only a week old so some AWESOME healing time) and of course I am enjoying my new ride as well.
Things aside from that are kinda sucky, my back is fucked currently, and while trying to have an MRI the metal plates in my head got all hot and hurtie..not cool. But we will figure it out.
I have been working on art a LOT lately, and as hopefully you all can see form my latest submission I am working on some new styles and techniques to just be better.
I am officially switching my focus form Anthro art to Belly dancers. I have a list a MILE long which includes some pretty big names so that is REALLY flattering as well as fun, these ladies got some CRAZY ideas. (see the Cthulu belly dancer THAT will be fun)
I LOVE being around this creative community and it saves my sanity from not being able to dance at the moment. Especially when I have studios and showcases knocking down my door asking me to come and perform. So it's hard.
BUT I am trying to keep positive spirits and I hope to be dancing today, rather I WILL be dancing today come hell or high water. (probably both)
So YAY!

I got the Beledi Beach Bash performance DVD AND the Harem Nights Hafla DVD a day apart! SO I have TWO New Videos to show rounding out 2011 in the best way.
Here is my performance at the Harem Hafla. The last performance of 2011. I LOVE the new top, Juin actually got a 50% off coupon at the raffle drawing at the show so I could get it because these are convertible tops and there are 50+ ways of tieing them, so they ain't cheap. I have wanted one for years. Also I let myself be more girlie and feminine with bright light happy colors and a SKIRT (OMG I know right!)
And here is the Piece of the year! My Performance at the Beledi Beach Bash Featuring my Idols UNMATA!!!
This show was amazing, the weekend was amazing and I will never forget it. It helped me KNOW that I am doing just fine in the belly dance world and am completely where I need and want to be. In this it's yes a Piece Inspired by Trueblood to which I was drinking in the beginning of the performance. One of the fancy glass bottles of it to..nommy. And it;s the polar opposite of the video above. It;s grr and grungy and vampir-ie and all black and rawr!!! but oh so awesome.
SO yeah you can see why I was a little scarce there for a while. I did close to 4 performances in 2 months! that is a LOT.
But it was totally worth it, wouldn't change a thing <3
