Long time no art.
General | Posted 5 months agoIt’s been a while since I have uploaded or even worked on anything. Not that I have lost my desire to draw, I just don't have the time. Life has decided to become hectic for my lover and I, and I don’t know when I’ll next feel like drawing. Long days with school or stressors leave me exhausted by the time I’m free and I take up other activities to try to unwind. As much as I like drawing it doesn’t relax me. Ideally I’d like to try to finish or progress on a piece that’s been on Ice for months. I hope my skills haven’t deteriorated. I don’t see myself abandoning this page, but perhaps a longer hiatus. Hope to upload more consistently in the short future.

General | Posted 12 months agoHello everyone! If you’re reading this you’re taking time out of your day to read this entry on my thoughts about joining FurAffinity. I’d first like to thank my Husband for being the one who loves Me, and whom I love just as much. He let me use his tablet to experiment and try drawing again for the first time since I was 11. I have a lot of catching up to do, especially if I ever want to be at his level. Secondly I’d like to thank whoever reads this or whoever has watched me, favorited a submission, or even just viewed it. I acknowledge that’s four people, but you are a very kind and supportive four people.
As I stated, I haven’t drawn art in 10 years. Perhaps a little more! I feel very unconfident in my ability. I feel my drawings are rigid, my proportions are off, the angle and positions of objects, characters, and everything are off. My perspective definitely needs work. Now I’m not saying all these things to gain sympathy or reinforcement and nice comments, but to acknowledge I can grow and improve my skills! I’ll at least try to! I imagine in the future I’ll have something I can be proud of, and when I have those skills down I will revisit my old drawings and remaster or maybe full on remake them. I don’t know how often I’ll upload and while I won’t disappear, submissions may be sparse. In the meantime! I have some art I’m working on that I’ll get back to when I return home.
