Posted 10 years agoAs Some of y'all know, I suffer from pretty bad depression so drink alot. Well, apparently that wasn't the best idea so now have a kidney infection.
But when I got diagnosed, I finally looked into meds for my depression- so guess who's going to be more motivated and actually finish something? This chick.
I've got two commissions to finish, and a few payments to make but hopefully stuff will be good soon.
Just a heads up, I know nobody reads these anyway :)

dreamvisioncreations. Furs used are Monterry Mills Black, White and Rust, A variety of NFT furs and Fabric Empire's Blue Polar Bear.Includes :
Head (Resin Wolf Base, Moving Jaw [kind of], fully airbrushed with gem accents, fan and lower jawset + silicone tongue. Awesome anatomically correct horns, and caracal ears.)
Handhooves - Scales, three fur colours and beautlful rust 3 finger (inc. thumb) cloppers.
Tail - Huge scaled and furred tail, complete with NFT mohawk and tuft!

Posted 11 years agoI'm asking for some genuine help here. This is unrelated to my handpaws.
My original maker for my head has caused some quite unpleasant issues.
Initially, she refused to order the blank or fur so got me to order them for her. When the blank's price changed she refused to help with it (it was a really overpriced blank) so I had to get it cut and hinged by Crystumes.
The artist refused to order the tongue and NFT and fan requested in the quote and would either make up excuses or ignore me when I asked fortnightly if she'd ordered them yet.
I subtracted the original fur and blank from the deposit and as I didn't trust her had agreed that I'd send the remaining deposit off when she started.
We had an agreed due date of the last weekend of march for everything to be done and here however there was flexibility up to the first weekend of april. She said this was completely doable and the only way it couldn't be here was due to postage.
I contacted her a week or so ago, as the blank was taking longer to do (Crystumes offered a free fan as the maker wouldn't order one, jawset, tongue and cut the nose off for her) out of good will and she would not give me a definitive answer and told me the start date was mid march. This was not what was originally agreed anyway.
A while went by and I had the handpaw drama. That ripped me apart and I decided "screw it if I miss the con- i'm not having that again" and sent a very friendly message to the artist asking for the fur to be sent to Crystumes and the rest of the deposit to sent to me and that she could keep $50 out of good will.
She then told me she spent it all and had to order the NFT (Which she couldn't get any of) out of pocket. And that she spent every cent. I spoke to Crystumes about it and the artist was being very rude about me unprovoked, and considering Crystumes is not only taking over the commission but is a friend obviously shared what was said.
I sent a message after they'd spoken hinting that I was aware of what was said, but not explicitly and asked how she could have spent that much on my supplies considering their value.
She ignored it.
I went to send her a message asking if she could explain to me and she's blocked me and ran off with $250 of mine. She could have spent $100 AT MOST on this commission, supplies wise.
What should I do?

She's one of my own species, a Vivacri (Derived From the italian words for Living and Crystal), known to travel forms until finding one similar to what she considers herself. These species have many, many differences, however they always have large, white eyes, and have iridescent flesh, blood, bones and saliva. If wounded or removed, their flesh quickly turns to solid crystal. These creatures often posess children's dolls and whilst usually harmless, can cause quite a hassle. Whilst these Vivacris CAN learn to talk, more often than not it's not overly sophisticated or well-articulated: In fact, it sounds just like small parrot chattering away. More often than not, the closest to human noises they get is wolf-whistling.
Kadinski is a pretty adorable Vivacri if I do say so myself, she's taken the form of a very cute little tailmouth doll. She's made out of only the finest of little furs, and she's covered in Dr Seuss inspired stripes! She has big cute feet, and little pretty hands with little stripy claws and little stripy pads. She has a huge zipper across her tummy which stopped being able to be moved after Kadi entered this body. Like most of her species, she can't exactly say much, and what she does say isn't usually considered speaking.
Kadi is being made into a fullsuit as soon as I get my revised reference back from a friend.
