So, I want to start by saying that.. I won't be here opening commissions of any sort.. I'm still really stressed out by commissions.. The only purchasable stuff I have now are adopts, which I will try out posting here! I want to become more and more self-indulgent with what I draw.

Otherwise, I'll be posting primarily oc art. Mostly sfw stuff but having another place I can comfortably post the occasional nsfw piece is always nice! Currently I can only really do that on toyhouse.......

I'll be unloading a bit of backlog of art I'm happy with.

Basically I'm making this to thank everyone that's commissioned me here on FA over the years. Like seriously I did commissions for like 4 or 5 years straight or something and NONE of you gave me a single ounce of trouble and that's pretty cool :'I

I wish FA had more of an adoptable scene so that I could take my sabbatical over here more. But alas.

So apparently paypal is shitting the bed right now and I'm curious if any of y'all know of any decent alternatives to it?

I know about Google Wallet, but I've also heard it's a problem for people outside of the US (can anyone weigh in on the specifics about that?)
I'm American, but I'd hate to find out that with Google Wallet I wouldn't be able to sell to non-Americans.

Are there other options...?

(incidentally if anyone knows if the recent paypal stuff is just hitting above a certain price? Like is it really gonna withhold $20 sales from me?)

For September and October I've kind of been on a commission-holiday, helping a friend out with a project instead of doing my usual work (with the exception of some sketch commissions). It's all been very refreshing to my spirits.

When I'm freed up again, I'll definitely be finishing my queue of course, but otherwise I don't know how much explicit NSFW YCHs/Commissions you'll be seeing out of me. I've come to really like drawing NSFW stuff, and I'll probably do so for things I personally enjoy, such as my own characters or ships I like, but idk otherwise. Maybe if a pose really catches me from time to time.

If I'm to be entirely frank, doing like 90% NSFW art has been a huge blow to my self-esteem. I sit around with this voice inside of me that tells me "people only like your art because you draw sex. It's the only reason." "You're a terrible artist." It's a feeling so embedded in me at this point I'm not even going to follow this up with me saying "but it's not true" because I don't know, and I'm leaning towards the less happy option there. Frankly, I think I'm a crap artist and I all too regularly think "at what point do I just accept I'm a hack?"

If I'm shit artist or whatever, then I'd at least like to be able to draw some more things that I can show my family and friends, I guess.


I do feel it's also worth mentioning as a disclaimer that I don't blame you guys for being insensitive to my wants and needs or something like that. Honestly like 99.99% of my commissioners have been absolutely the best people, and I appreciate people who watch and comment. Y'all have been nice people and I don't feel any bitterness towards you guys. The only person I loathe is myself.

Honestly lately I've been suffering from a decent amount of depression and anxiety. Just a lot of stuff that's piling on top of one another, I haven't really had the chance to just stop and breath this year, nevermind feel like I've made a real 'win'. It's starting to hit my art too. It's not exactly like any art block I've had before but I think it falls into the same category :T It's certainly not getting any better.

I'd love to have some advice... maybe exercises, both drawing-wise or just in life that you feel help out? Anything.

Right now I'm gonna take FIVE slots per type, but these will reopen again if they do well. I just need to time myself with actual commission ones to make sure that my prices are balanced and fair!

I was in a considerable car accident. Living as graveyard shift people having to travel to an affordable dentist during hours that we're usually asleep during got us; I was asleep in the passenger seat and my husband apparently blinked for a second or two too long. No sleeper lines on the highway u_u so we ended up going straight through a guard rail and tumbling down into the forest.

No one else got hurt and honestly we're walking away miraculously well. Especially since the airbags didn't even go off. My worst injury is a strained neck and a sprained foot. It does mean I'll be slow to drawing for a little; I don't wanna make my neck worse.

I'm not really in any sort of shit mood over this since how mad can I be? We should have stopped to nap but the physical cost doesn't even see either of us with a broken bone or scar. Although I am definitely having one of those "I could have died and this would be all that I left behind" kind of cliche moments e3e Don't even know what to do with that right now...

Anyways we're going to have a lot of big costs and I suppose I'm just giving the heads up that I'll be opening commissions soon, likely when I actually know what the medical bills will be like. I'm not really 100% but I am going to try and get back into doing digital commissions as best I can. With my injury not fully healed I am not going to be so optimistic as to say I can work digitally every night for as much time needed to be as fast as I was before. At least for now.

Root canal, tailbone bruise, and now my cat left a dot of blood in the bathtub. And I know that might, probably, means urinary crystals in spite of my efforts to make sure that didn't happen from day one o_e

I literally have no money and have expended my family sources already for the root canal. The bits I'm earning from the PWYW's are the only thing making sure my husband and I have food right now. Even if it was excess money, it'd be small potatoes to the vet bill I may be faced with. A vet bill that may very well be hundreds of dollars and need to be paid up front.

I honestly do not feel right asking for digital commissions/art slave since I can't even work on that shit right now and I already have a whole queue that's been waiting for my recovery as is.

If I cannot take him to the vet then I will absolutely give up my cat to a shelter rather than risk his life should it be crystals.

I don't know what to do. I'm open to any suggestions, advice, or offers right now.

YEAH 2017 is NOT turning out to be the healthiest of years for me! Just got back from the dentist and I'm gonna need a root canal done xux The total is $1,550 and has to be paid for upfront of the visits, my first appointment to begin the treatment being February 14th.

I'm gonna seek out family help but it's gonna kill my mom honestly and I would appreciate any extra help from anyone else...

So here's the deal. If I get a decent amount of help to not make this a heart attack waiting to happen, then I'll make a yiff comic; a yiff comic that's no strings attached, free to the public for everyone to read (so feel free to advertise for help for me yo >:U )

I fell on icy steps and sprained my wrist and hurt my tailbone.

Just wanted to give you guys that heads up that I was down for a while but I'm up again.

That said, I'm probably going to spend at least the first half of tonight working on stuff for my family members. Technically they don't deserve priority treatment but they've started hounding me with texts while I'm asleep SO i need to make those stop as quick as I can =^=;;;

It's officially the christmas season and I am kind of expecting people buying commissions to be buying gifts for their friends and family at this time of year. So I wanted to offer a cheap option just for the season.

They'd be $10 - $15 roughly.

These would be wing-its and hopefully be something I could turn around for you guys quickly. I'd really love to do like four a night <3 So I'd probably do a fill-out form method, things paid for in advance.

My next batch of commissions will be switching to SAI for coloring; I'd like to be off my slow mac sooner opposed to later x_x However since I promised my CURRENT commissioners with examples done in photoshop, I will not be surprising anyone by doing their commission in SAI instead, just because there are going to be subtle differences.

I don't want to ballpark how many images or whatever would be in it, nor an exact price tag (though between $1 - $5 depending on what's in it? I'd compare prices with other art packs around the web)

Would probably include reoccurring characters throughout it instead of complete non-designed randies, each with their own personalities and whatnot, and a variety of species. Sort of having an over-arching narrative of people living in the same town. Possibly very short comics and/or sequential pieces since I'm kind of looking for an excuse to practice that more. 100% stuff not seen in my gallery either way.

I just have no way of guessing if that interests my watchers or not since I've never done anything like that before. I mean if I stay excited about it I'd probably do it anyways for fun but if you guys have any opinions on art packs or just even tips as art lovers and artists yourself I'd love to hear it honestly. Good or bad :P
