Posted 7 years agoHey everyone! Guess who's formally "opening" commissions! ME!! It's spring break and I have free time. I will be taking three slots and, yes, it can be nsfw!
Busts go for $15, with extra characters adding $5 each.

Posted 7 years agoYou know, I've been on the fence for a while on this, and I've ultimately decided no one really cares if I shorten SHOTA's name to just Sho. After watching Ploxy get suspended on Patreon for using the word "loli," I think I would rather play it safe. SHOTA's name was never that clever or humorous anyway. I'm also afraid it sent the wrong message to people. "Sho" still stands for "SHOTA," but in terms of his official name and how I refer to him, it's Sho. It makes sense for him to reject and reclaim the name he was given in captivity anyway.
So yeah! Right now I'm working on erasing any active uses of the name SHOTA in my submission descriptions and journals. Have a lovely day!

Help! Is there a site that lets you post your art in stacks?

She likes the way Pixiv allows you to "stack" your art, but the community primarily speaks Japanese! Is there a website that lets you do something similar, with an English speaking community? Thank y'all so much in advance!

Please answer on the poll so I can get a good idea of how many people are interested! Of course you can comment, too, though. I've actually already started a YCH with Sho, but I thought it'd be good to get some feedback before I commit more time to it.
I've been meaning to open NSFW commissions, but it stills feels kind of weird. I think it'd be good to get my feet wet first with my own characters! Then maybe I'll have the confidence to open NSFW commissions that DON'T include my characters, lol.
Anyway, I think the pricing for the YCH would be $35-40. I could make it a bid, but I think that's too much for my first YCH. I don't even know if enough people will be interested to make it a bid. ( ^ v ^ ; )
I guess another specifier is that I am only interested in pairing them with other pokemon. I might change my mind about this, but wouldn't it be fun to let me pokemon-ify your furry character? Just a thought. Tell me what y'all think!

Life update: My foot is badly injured
Posted 8 years agoHi! So. I stubbed my toe pretty hard about two weeks ago. I thought it was no big deal, but long story short is that I'm walking on crutches now. It should take about a month to heal. I've also been busy with school work. All these things affect my productivity with art. :( So if I seem inactive, that's why!
UPDATE: Well, my foot WAS better... then I injured it again. Some foot, different toe. I'm honestly in shock at myself. Hopefully it'll heal soon.

About Sho's character...
Posted 8 years agoLast night someone contacted me on F-List asking me to RP Sho with a 14-year-old character. At first I was upset, but then I realized I failed to mention anywhere that Sho is not a minor - he is around 25 (give or take). His name is a play on his design, not an indication of his age. I'm sorry for not clarifying that sooner.
I've added a disclaimer to all my NSFW art that every character I draw is at least 18. I thought it went without saying, but I've decided it's better to be safe than sorry.

Great resource for Pokemon artists
Posted 8 years agoMy recent Pokemon art has gotten a lot of attention, and I really appreciate it! However, I feel an obligation to share the program that has helped me improve.

^ This program is called Ohana3DS. You can use it to view and rotate the 3D models from the Pokemon games. The following link contains both the program and every Pokemon model. This post explains how to use it fairly well: http://pearlouettes.tumblr.com/post.....gram-for-those
Ohana3DS is incredibly useful, and I would say it's helped me improve my Pokemon art significantly. I couldn't ask for better reference! I must admit, however, that I've been using this program liberally. At times, I have even traced parts of the model (especially for Cofagrigus). I try to avoid this when possible, and I don't do it too often, but I still do. I hope y'all don't think less of me for it, and I hope sharing the program makes up for it.
But anyway, that's all I wanted to say! Thank you for your support, and I hope y'all continue to enjoy my art!

Would anyone be interested in a Pokemon art trade?
Posted 8 years agoI don't know, I just want some art of my Kirlia! Anyone want me to draw their Pokemon in return?? I'm in the mood to draw anything from the Ralts-line, but other Pokemon are fine too; I'd prefer if it's a simple Pokemon, or a Pokemon I'm already familiar with drawing, though (check my gallery). And if you want to draw one of my other Pokemon OCs, I might consider that too.
Right now I'm just curious to see if anyone is interested. I don't usually do trades so this is new! Keep in mind I have the right to refuse trades if I'm uninterested (nothing personal!). Please don't be afraid to ask, though! Thanks!
