Onicon 2016
Posted 9 years agoIt was a blast!! Met a lot of cosplayers, collected a lot of Kikis and Toriels but I also snagged a lot of furries as well.
Most notable ones are seamen , Ms.Delicious , Admiraleyebrows , and SteamPunkJack if I met you and didn't get your FA name I am so sorry but thanks for coming to see me, or my suit.
I had tons of fun collecting pictures, and seeing new people, and my suit got quite the work out this weekend, the rave was fun, but I got to meet my all time idol Lisa Ortiz, it was absolutely amazing, oh and I met Nobu the musical genius behind FF1-10 ♥
Again it was fun, hope I can do it again next year.

Thanks for watching
Posted 9 years agoThanks for watching, thanks for enjoying my suit, its a 100% safe, safe for work suit.
Just an FYI when I wear it I clean it every 2-3 wears (with isopropyl alcohol/water mixture) not incessantly, but enough to make sure its clean/germ free, and yes I wash it fully with soap and water as well, after an intense session of wearing it.
I make sure to brush it too, with a soft ended brush and I don't pull any fibers out, be careful you can over brush it. I hope to have more pics every so often but if you want to see my whole collection of pictures (including the ones I cannot post here due to minors or because they aren't FA worthy) check my private imgur album linked in my profile, you don't have to be a suiter to be my friend.
I will say this now, owning a fursuit is overrated, its hot, heavy, expensive, hard to take care of if you don't know what you're doing, takes a long time to make, but a short time to break, you can grow out of them, they can have minor defects unbeknownst to you or the maker (don't worry that isn't the case with me), they are a lot of hard work, care, and in general it takes a lot to care for them, especially if you're a frequent suiter. I only suit once in a while maybe about 30 minutes or long enough to take a couple of photos, the longest time I went suiting was (Onicon 2016) when I went around in suit twice a day for the two days I was there.
You should be extra careful and take extra caution when doing this if you are weak to heat, have motor ability disorders, are anemic, or have any real or severe medical condition. I thankfully do not, and have a great handler, aka my husband, he is wonderful and is a great photographer as well.
Don't think me owning a suit makes me any cooler than the next guy, it really doesn't in fact it makes me just a person who bought an expensive fur coat. So don't let any suiters try to make you feel bad for them owning one, its just a gimmick or an expensive toy that's hard to take care of, nothing more, nothing less, and if you ever get one and we are in the same area come take pictures with me, or if you don't have a suit, just come visit with me anyways!!
Be safe if you suit, its dangerous to do it alone, and its even more dangerous in the summer, stay hydrated, stay cool, it's what is good for you!!
