Whew, it's been a while since I've been here. Can't wait for 2017, the suitmaking continues!

I wish I had as much time on my hands as you people seem to have.

I'm still making fursuits. And I'll have a new one soon.

Well, back from MCFC after a nice long grueling drive...

Educational con to say the least. Yes, I did take and wear Arkansas, along with 2 others. I'll have to post pics of the new one soon.

It went pretty well, I only took Arkansas out once, mainly because I was enjoying wearing the new one so much, but the one time ol' Stars and Bars was out...

Friday night I had the opportunity to speak with a black furry for about an hour. One on one, just the way I like it. I didn't make that suit out of hate for a race, though he may have thought that at first, given the fire in his eyes as he walked up to me. But at the end we were shaking hands.

It just doesn't mean hate to me.

But the rest of the con was exhausting, the con staff didn't give me any issues with wearing it, and whatever other drama happened there was none of my doing. Just glad the new one went over so well and many pics were taken.

Felt like I really had to struggle to get through it all though. I am NEVER making a drive like that again in my life alone, I almost crashed several times tying to stay awake.

So until the end of May, I'm not doing any suit work other than repairs and ordering for the next suit, which will be done in time for Furry Migration in september. Just cleaning and getting some things taken care of.

I didn't know that there was another con fed suit, though.

Been working on the new suit for about 3 weeks now, not coming out too bad, it should be done in time for the next con.

Nah, won't be any political stuff this time, I'm done with making those for now. No ISIS here lol.

Looking forward to April, though. Sucks there's not a lot of furs near me, but maybe I'm not trying hard enough.

Putting in much work on the new suit for an upcoming con. Almost as much sewing as the crux!

The main body should be done today, then it's off to the hands, I'd say the whole thing is 35% done at this point.

It's a complicated design, one of the most intricate I've ever done, and involves a totally new species, for me. Haven't finalized the name yet, but I have a few ideas.

I think the infamous suits are done being made for now. I want to get back to the creativity of it all, what brought me to this fandom in the first place. Each suit presents its own challenge, and I want to keep improving, taking every thing I've learned and replacing it with something better.

If I could get my quality up to the par of the best suitmakers, combined with the designs I come up with...

Motivation? I have that in spades. And after 13 years, I'm just getting started.

Who's got it? because it sure ain't me, lol

Going to be at MCFC hopefully, and you know what that means. FURSUITS, lol...

Just like a lot of other furs. I hope to have a new one ready using some new techniques I've learned.

Still looking for a new roomie. But in the meantime I'm dealing.

It seems that people still don't understand the difference between wanting attention and wanting recognition. If I wanted attention, I've have done a HELL of a lot more with that suit from 2014.

Been a long time since I posted anything, Facebook seems to be where I spend most of my time.

I need to do more on LJ and here as well. Losing contact sucks but it's been crazy busy.

FINALLY!! The two commissions I've put off for far too long are going to be done this week, and hopefully off to their new owner. I truly regret that it took me so long to get them done.

2016 is going to have a lot of changes for me. I want to be up to the task.

Oh, and that MFF ban? doesn't exist any more. So I'll be there this year.

I had some time to think about this past weekend, now that I'm finally well rested and calmed down...

Just sucks that you wait all year long for an event, and then someone goes and tries to ruin it for everyone. I'm glad no one was seriously injured, but damn, this is the second year in a row that I've PERSONALLY witnessed some sort of crap.

Seriously, some folks have no life to do this. I was there, had to leave the room and wander the streets for a few hours, it looked like a scene out of dead rising at times, and OH the speculation as to how things were going.


But it's over now. I need to get back to the way things used to be. Calm, cool, and collected.

we left in the morning...we went to galloping ghost arcade, and spent fifteen dollars to get in,
and there were a lot of old games there...I played gauntlet for a while...lol...I remember blazger playing it when I told him I didn't
want to play that any more or else I couldn't play anything else....then I went and played Q*bert and spy hunter and dragon's lair 2
and also return of the jedi...each for only one round, or else we'd have been so late for that convention...

Then we went to popeye's chicken, and I got some po' boys, and they were chicken, although I've been told no one orders them anymore,
I'm the only one, and this is why I have to stand by the counter, while they eat their food. Meh, this is what I've experienced.

But I got my shit up to the room and got it in, of course an old ass man had to help me, some hotel staff. Then I met my roomie, Mac Wolf,
and Also Jovina (it was a very quiet room and I are grateful for that)

It's...well let me say that Thursday night was good. I think that I should have showed more restraint. I used my crux and danced. the rainbow
one. The one my ass almost fell off the stage.

Friday, I fursuited. Yeah. That's what I did. And registered, too.
Oh yeah, and I wore my new suit. I was told it was cute and fuzzy. I think it was cute and fuzzy.

Saturday was the big day...I'm guessing it was...for there was a PARADE, with many many many fursuits...and mine was amongst them.
I almost passed out from the heat, and a shower was forthcoming.

Then I went to the variety show, had my skit, and all was well.

Something happened later that night, it was unique. If the world didn't know about furries before, they will now, and the first thing they think
of won't be about sex.

Sunday was quiet, got up late, went with norby and astral and had pizza.

Monday...came back home.

SO!!, Who will I see at MFF, and who wants to hang out? I'll eat pizza!!

Tonight was not a good night. Thinking about MFF next wheek has got me seriously stressed out. I REALLY hope this'll be a good time.

Getting ready for MFF in 2 weeks, I wonder who I'll see there, and who wants to hang out. Got mah new suit all ready to go!

This has been a decent summer, full of chills and thrills. Very educational. I know that I'll never get through to some folks, others will understand. I find that emotion is a hell of a blocker to common sense, and wisdom must be used when dealing with certain situations.

Those that care are the hardest to talk to. Those that are neutral are far more understanding.

When what happens to others is the same that happens to you, you tend to form a common bond. And if you were alone in your beliefs, it takes far more courage to say something.

Ready for that con.

I swear if I could find a lawyer who only gets paid if you win, I'd seriously think about taking legal action against a group of individuals for theft and blackmail.

Any advice?

I hate coming home from a long day at work, eating something real fast, drinking a monster drink, and then jumping on fursuit work, but these suits HAVE to get done before December.

Where did all my energy go?

Going to have some fun this weekend, fursuiting and such. I think I could really use it.

I wish that I could tell you the whole story. I wish that people would understand. People tend to define their realities by the negative things that happen to them. It is always the bad, rarely the good. From this we gain understanding, but it is tainted in nature.
