Posted 5 months agoKinda crazy how often times have been changing online. It always amuses me how much being always online changes people. Its to the point where its getting really hard to separate the art from the artist anymore as they continue to pop up and crash out one by one with ridiculous views. Wild times we live in I guess. Remember to take breaks from online. Get rest. Socialize with good hearted people. Tackle that to-do list.... *me staring at teh backlog of art I still have to upload.... Gulps nervously*
Anyway, back to the mass void of the internet I go. I hope to continue to heal mentally and learn a new skill this yeah ,I hope you do the same.

Gotta Update
Posted 4 years agoHi there. Yeah, still coming back here from time to time. But I feel like I am slowly getting an art mood again. But have to find the time to do it. I need to focus on the bazillion characters I now own lol. Hopefully coming back and working on stuff will allow me to get the stress of art block out of my head and free it up for other stress.

Posted 9 years agoHi guys. AFM was pretty cool today. Though it was mega windy. I have quite a bit of commissions I have received from people. But I'm still waiting on one who disappeared off the face of the earth. Sooo yeah. Bad news for the month is I might not be going to Gateway FurMeet in st. Louis Missouri due to funds.... its a loooong story. But my job is working with me and I'm getting back to where I was financially. Im working on sketches again. And will slowly continue on my friend's art piece. Im so glad he hasn't thrown me through a window yet.

There has been quite a bit going on in my life where I'm back to figuring out the best ways to spend my time.
Work has been going great! In fact I won a Trip to Las Vegas in a week to go to the 2015 SEMA show. What's SEMA its the "Speciality Equipment Market Association. In short its a huge worldwide event where many aftermarket automotive companies come to show and unveil new technology and car builds. It's not open to the public. So its a huge honor to have worked my butt off to be able to go and represent my company with my manager as we are taking 3 of our favorite custom builds this year. I will be sharing pictures of them here. When we unveil them.
Yes. I've been at work more than I have been home... But that's what happens when you don't have a social group to spend time with after work. Yes we can hang out at a local spot. No we don't have to do anything expensive. We can play games from the comfort of our homes online. The people that I've wanted to do twitch streaming with, can't make it to the broadcasts because they have their own things to do. Which is fine. Butbmy Twitch stream and YouTube gaming channel wants to focus on the social aspect of gaming as friends. As a community. Chatting socially while playing games. You don't have to partake in the game, but if you want. Be available for the party chat. Since I have gone multiple months without streaming.. I'm going to be giving it a go on my own and trying out new recording methods.
TWITTER! I have been very active on Twitter. Just chatting and making new networking friends. Sharing projects that I've been working on at work. You can always get in touch with me their as I respond faster through notifications.
Music. Is on hold. I'm unable to use my own computer for more than a few minutes for various reasons with the main fact being I don't want to ignore my guest, and significant other. I'm also just listening to music to find the motivation to do so. I need to find another method of starting my projects and keeping the flow going.
ART..,.. I still suck at it and haven't found enough time to sit down, listen to music and quietly focus on the things I want to improve on. 3D printing falls into this category as well.
I hope to get a hold of my time again and begin to focus on my projects outside of work. Maybe the trip to Vegas is what I need to escape my schedule and relax.

First things first.
Gateway Furmeet 2015 in Saint Louis, Missouri was awesome! Had so much fun, got to meet my old and new stl furry family, I MISS YOU GUYS BUT GLAD YOU ALL ARE DOING WELL! IS IT 2016 YET???? XD
2nd. I MOVED. Got my own place. A basic one bedroom apartment, which is great because now I can do stuff..... Like MEGA HARDCORE PROCRASTINATION ON THE FLOOR WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.... And having more space to myself. Now I can have friends over, stay out late, and pay rent........ yeaaaaaaaaahhhh growing up stinks kids!
3rd. I haz a crush on this girl and oh man. After months of being an awkward and nervous Cabbit I asked her out..... Annnnnnnnnd I haz a date on Sunday :3 So for the Next 3 weeks whoever comes into contact with me will see me making this face :3 for a loooooong time lol.
4th. Music is still being edited and mastered. Before I release as a pay what you want, I want it to sound good. If I can't master it myself, I guess I'll have to fork out the cash to have someone at least help master it. So far I'm looking at 12+ tracks I'm still working on. But be clear, some of the songs are on my soundcloud, but they aren't mastered or finished. Those are mainly rough drafts unless stated. The album will have final versions with minor tweaks other than mastering.
5th. I TRIED A MTNDEW DEWSHINE AND ITS GOOODDD!!!!! STOCKING UP NOW!!!!!

Feeling better. I had a random stomach bug that got to me Tuesday night, but I'm better, able to eat and laugh! YAY

Planning on moving out of my uncle and aunts, as awesome as it is to live here, I just feel that I should get my own place, or share a place with a furry roommate so I can do more. Like stay out late. Make youtube videos, Better Twitch Streams, have a drawing area, etc...

Awesome Weekend was Had
Posted 10 years agoHad a Blast This short weekend! to start things off, Saturday was a cool and laid back day at work, put a ls swapped *corvette engine swapped* car back together and should have it started within one or two hours of opening up. I went to get pho with my manager at a local place that is now my favorite.
Annnd Sunday... Sunday was cold at first... but SOOOOOO AWESOME! This sunday was the first autocross event by the SCCA *sports car club of america* I had a fun time talking cars and racing with my friends. I ended the day by racing hard and placing 3rd in my novice class. AWESOME! Im still smiling, and also still tired though I went to sleep at 10pm. but Time to get back into the grind of the work week. and also to better myself at drawing tonight when i get off of work. My next journal post today I will be talking about this schedule I set for myself and asking questions.

Just a random journal. My only plan this weekend is to Race on Sunday at my local autocross. IM SUPER EXCITED!!!!!!
Done a few doodles here and there. I'm STIIIILLLL Drawing stuff and working on some art for

Trying to work on those before I get into more artwork.
I'm forgetting to talk about something.. because im sleepy. So Ima go do that noooowwws....

Posted 10 years agoAnd I really only use FA, Facebook, and Twitter. Everyone complains about FA, but I never had a problem... because I'm not relying on it as professional artists are. I understand that when things get crazy and or the site goes down for maintenance people are losing time and possible business because people stop using the site. Totally understandable. But I would totally like to see some that complain run a site like this. Its a lot of work and money.
I'm already off topic. lol Anywhoooo. I have like 9 pinned tabs of other furry social sites open that I rarely use. But I from time to time use and upload art or music to So Furry, because for some strange reason, I get more views on So Furry than here, but I communicate with all my friends and potential friends here.

Its a monthly gathering of local artists, where we hangout and draw, doodle, eat, laugh, just have a good time.
I always look forward to these because its nothing but positive energy. Also one of the few times I get to see do much art being worked on at the same time. And did I mention, I work better when I socialize? lol weird huh?

Thinking of Making a Furmeet
Posted 10 years agoThis is something I want to do to get more hangouts going to make more local furry friends, and to help take everyone's minds off of things on their minds by hanging out with friends This is tough because of my schedule, the fact that most of us don't have rides to drive or get to events, lack the funds, or lack the time as well to hang out, also don't want to meet uncomfortable people. This is a real thing and I understand that, there are people some don't feel safe, or can not be behave able around others. Due to my nature, of being kind and friendly and what not, I don't want to have to be the one to ban people or prevent them from coming out because that's how things start, but I ask that you behave yourselves out there guys. We are working hard as a community to continue to build the positive image of Furries as a whole. Here are some determining factors of what I'm looking at.
LOCATIONS
This is the major factor because we are spread out throughout the DFW/Fort Worth area and surrounding areas. I noticed there are not a lot of Fort Worth meets if any because I haven't really seen a place we would like to go yet.
Dallas? Too Far from me, because I live 45mins to an hour away depending on weather and traffic.
Other places???? I dunno, because I haven't been around the area enough to know of places.
ACTIVITIES
There is a lot we can do that will vary in cost!
-Drawinig meetups - Mainly free, depending on if you commission or something this idea is one of my favorites because it gives people a chance to draw, talk about art, and possibly make money. If possible I would like to merge this meetup during the once a month(unless we get another meet going) With this group called SHONUFF Sketch Dojo. It is full of awesome artists that love to draw, depending on what happens, we show up. draw, chat, snack, drink(if you are of legal age) and laugh. If you want to know more or see what the group is about you can watch the few livestreams... or show up when I post a journal about it.

I could start another Arlington meet or branch it on to the Arlington Fur Meet at the Round 1 in the Parks Mall in Arlington. BUDGET BEWARE! this can get costly because of the arcade games, bowling, table tennis, billiards and stuff. Or we could just find a bowling alley in Fort worth or some place that will allow fursuits. I will have to get a proposal going for most of these places. But we have to be response-able about areas like this because. were in public, and there are people that either don't know what furries are, or only know the badside about furries.
That's pretty much all I got at the moment, but I will keep updating this journal until more is posted.

Back to Reality after TFF 2015

MUSIC
I'm going to get back into music and remaster/finish some old tracks I have laying around. I have a Bomerman Heroes Remix to finish today, a Super Mario 64 Star Power Remix to remaster and finish Cover art for. Actually make cover arts for future albums and or single releases, might commission someone for that or work out a deal with them in return for more coverage (views, watches, commissions, etc...)

After this con I started collecting badges, Im going to either find or build my own badge shelf to keep my awesome wearable memorabilia safe, and viewable until the next con.
Looking to get some shirt designs worked on and made and have some wearables for my future fursuits.
Continuing my retro videogame collecting. Probably going to make it a once a month thing where I go out and find bargins and deals on games. This will probably happen next month after my budget is stable again. Gotta finish putting together my nintendo 64, and may paint it the same way I did my Sega Dreamcast. Gotta get a NES or Retron 5. Finish my Sega and get cables and such for it.
VIDEOGAMING
I know this is a hobby, but a separate topic on it's own. I plan on getting back into my videogame commentary/lets plays and will soon be looking for 1-2 others to join me when I neeed someone to play games with. I found out I'm so much more watchable when I'm with friends and we have stuff to talk about. The reason why? at the next con I attend, I wanna host a videogaming panel because WYNATT? I need some cover arts for the videos I want to do. Streaming is Iffy because the internet speed dropped and will talk to my uncle about it and will try to do some streams someday.
On the days I wil stream I will look for and ask some to join me in a skype call or Ps4 party chat While I stream, because see the paragraph above lol. Depending on how many people reply to the future journals about streaming, I may do a raffle, or have a normal crowd of people. There is a lot to talk about in this section and will create other videogaming journals about whats going on.

I am starting to save up pieces and parts and moneh for my Wyle Fursuit. but in the meantime I plan on buying the Growlithe Partial *seen in the photo and photos I will upload* from my friend, because she is awesome and allows her to get more material and do stuff.
DRAWING

I'm going to sped this ice day off of work watching game grumps and working on art today. I want to get out my comfort zone even more and start using references even more to help with posing. No tracing, I dont like tracing because you cant learn much from that after you learn to steady your hand and such. BTW Did You Know? Mario Party teaches you tracing? lols.
I got a few more journals coming out about other things but I believe that they deserve their own journal. Thanks for reading, and once again. Posted 10 years agoFrom getting off of work and going to TFF and seeing all my friends in one place. I don't know what to expect from a big convention. But what I do know.... is I overpacked lol. like one big duffel bag, and my sports car trunk is full. but you never know. too many clothes is not a bad thing. i may be standing and suddenly a slime puddle falls and hits me.... ah slime time live lol.

The More I Think
Posted 11 years agoI end up hurting my brain, and my mood. I have been noticing more about myself. When I'm with others, I feel so motivated... I can do it all. but when I'm on my own, I do nothing but think and slowly work out stuff. call me a thinker, cause this cabbit thinks a LOTZ.
This weekend was pretty productive for sketching as I got about 10 drawings worked on and made some really good progress with some that are long due. I like to thank the local sketching group that I go to, because its one of the few chances I feel I can be social without worrying about life, talking to people without flirting or being flirted on, and cupcakes lol. i devoured 9 of em and I'm not mad either :p I learned a few things that help with drawing, and made me feel better with traditional art work as a starting ground for ideas before attempting to move over to digital. ya gotta start somewhere you're comfortable with. but shading lol i need lots of werk.
When it comes to times like this, I don't know if its motivation I need, someone to chat with to keep myself collected, or really to just get out more and spend time with friends after work. introvert, extrovert, or both i dunno. i think i just think waaaaaay to much and need a better plan of managing my time. while finding a better social plan that doesn't involve bars or clubs. or going places solo. i dunno. until i werk this out, im gonna try to fix this. maybe get more sleep n stuff.
