I owe you guys an apology for being inactive of late!

My online course really ramped up to full throttle over the last month or so. I have had a full 10 second character animation (including lip-sync), a full playable video game level (with everything modeled by myself), a full storyboard that is 30 seconds long and contributions to a larger group project all due within this last week and the one coming up. So as you can probably guess I have been a busy Barawak, modeling and animating away. It's not been too stressful, as I've remained on top of most of it. Just very time consuming. However it's so much fun and I really enjoy it!

So yes, thanks to that I have had next to no time for any beefy drawing. I managed to rush out the two Alola Fissure sketches I'm about to post after this journal, but that's about all, sadly.
Thankfully after next weekend things will definitely calm down for a while because all of these four assignments will have been completed and turned in.

So I was thinking of maybe opening for three flat-colour lineart commissions next weekend (at $20 each) to get back into the beefy drawing rhythm. Hope there's some interested people for when I open!
I've also been practicing my colouring/shading technique! I'm trying to broaden my skills. Don't get me wrong, I still like cell-shaded and will use it in the future alongside anything else I learn!

In other news I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles X and I love it! I'm not a fan of open world games but this one may be changing my opinion. It's so damn pretty and fun and enjoyable! I also finally finished the Koholint Island (Link's Awakening) map in Hyrule Warriors Legends, so now I just gotta wait until the Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks map is released.
Also exciting is the fact that the super fast Australian broadband (well super fast by Australian standards) finally got switched on in my area, so within the next week I'll be upgraded to that! No more 4-8mbps download speeds! Fissure's moving up to 25-100mbps baby!

Closing up shop for a while guys!
Gonna finish up the commissions I'm currently working on and then take some time out to focus on improvement. I wanna improve my colouring technique and also teach myself more about anatomy, posing and most definitely backgrounds!

In other news, it took me a while to get into Pokemon Go, as when I first got it, every time I tried using it the servers were down XP
But I'm slowly getting there (still only Level 4)

I also started watching Assassination Classroom yesterday! And I love it already!

Now that my final assessment for this study period has been handed in I am able to finally get back to work on drawing!

Yes, with the mass influx of folks who couldn't reset their passwords I have suddenly hit the 1000 follower mark!
It happened so suddenly over the last two days that I haven't even decided what to do to celebrate yet...

At this point in time I am still a bit busy with class work to come up with something yet, at least until the end of this week.

HOWEVER! Streams and such will start again next week and expect an announcement of what my 1000 watcher celebration will be!

So until then, stay beefy and beautiful all! *flexes*

Fissure's gonna be busy over the next week or two!

He's got two major assessments due in the next two weeks or so, which while he has made good progress on them, they still take a lot of time and effort! Which means he won't have much time for drawing at all, beefy or not.

So he apologises if he goes a bit quiet until his work is done!

Hey guys, been quiet for the last week haven't I?

Well that is because Fissure is currently having deep and meaningful thoughts about his art.

No, this isn't intended to be a whiny "OH NOES I SUCK" journal, and I honestly don't want you guys trying to cheer me up and say I'm good or anything, because that's not the point! I'm not sad to begin with!

I just feel that sections of my art style are not up to scratch, at least for paying money for them. I need work on posing and anatomy, and ESPECIALLY colouring and backgrounds. My cell shaded style lacks the depth and "sparkle" I'd like it to have, that many other artists who use a similar style have. I really need to sit down and practice proper colouring techniques, because mine is so bleh.

So I've closed commissions because I felt that what I am able to produce isn't worth the money I'm charging. I'll be taking some time to learn better anatomy and posing. And I'll very much be looking to improve my colouring and backgrounds skills!

Yep, I was a stupid Barawak and went and bought it, despite the countless hours I poured into the Wii U version. If only Nintendo had the put the effort in to include a cross save functionality like with the PSVita and Ps3/4 versions of the Dynasty Warriors series!

But I will say this, Skull Kid is KICK ASS. I was so excited when I found out he'd FINALLY be playable and he didn't disappoint. He joins Zant, Ghirahim and Shiek as one of my go to mains!

In other game news Bravely Second is freaking amazing so far! 30 hours in and it's still going strong!!!

Heya all!
I'm here to propose the idea of a YCH to you all! Or well, mostly just see if anyone would be interested.

The idea was proposed by another individual, but basically it would be similar to my old YCH. Fissure would be imagining your character at their normal size, and then beefing them up in his daydream and then it cuts to a pic of the character hulked out in real life!

So I was just putting it out there. If anyone seems interested I may doodle up the base for the YCH and take it from there!

For absolutely no reason at all (seriously, I have to wait a week for the technician to come and fix it before I know what's wrong) I have no internet for a few days! And just when I had a pic to upload as well! I coloured the Flygon in drew in my last stream, but now can't upload it until it's back online!

So it may also mean no stream this week coming guys! Sorry in advance if that's the case! Wish me luck with me no internet existence!
