Y'all might have noticed I've been quiet for the past couple months. (Jinkies, has it really been that long?)

I had major surgery in May and I've been recovering from that. I've been working on getting my medication situation in order- I'm chronically AND mentally ill, and some of my meds were not playing nice with each other. I've also been working on my not-furry writing and I've taken taken a 7,000 word commission for a friend which took longer to finish than expected. (Which I'm totally okay with- Zombie is awesome, lol. I just have a bad habit of grabbing more than I can properly put on my plate.)

Soooooo... long story short, I had my commissions closed for longer than expected. The big commission is nearly done, so I should be open soon! (And expect to see it on here-- it's more latextastic capesmut. :33 )

In the meantime, I'm taking the opportunity to do what I've meant to do for a while and tweak my commission pricing/availability. Let's face it- if you've taken a comm from me, you know I've been massively flakey about it, taken much longer than I promised, + etc. I overextend myself like mad. Sooooo... giving myself less of a chance to do that is important.

Hey, furry friends! I just had a major surgery and was spending most of my time running around between doctors' offices to get checked up on. Now most of that's over, so I should be back!

I'm taking limited commissions right now, and I will try to whomp together a couple original pieces in the next couple weeks.

The commissions I've been taking here have been causing me some trouble with my non-furry work, so I'm changing the way I'm doing them.

First off: the YCH sale is over. Sorry, guys. I couldn't keep up with it, it was getting to be too much to handle, and while y'all are wonderful, I want to be able to get people's comms out to them in a timely manner.

Second: I now have four commission slots open a month, and I will only take one a week for the foreseeable future. I will also not take more than one comm per user per month- I was getting a backlog of comms from one specific user that was too big to handle, and while it's NOT their fault, I was having to choose between doing another commission for them or being fair to everyone else.

Third: I am probably going to lower my prices for comms by a few bucks; I'll experiment for a bit, maybe. What do you think fair comm prices are?

In the future, I cannot and will not take NSFW commissions from minors. I foolishly assumed it wasn't possible for a minor to get a paypal and didn't include this in my commission terms.

Hey, everyone! I'm gonna be opening Christmas commissions sometime next week. Are there any specific themes y'all would like to see? I can guess some of the obvious (reindeer, christmas 'present' if you know what I mean)... but I don't really know what's popular around these parts. So anyone who'd like to give some recommendations, feel free!

Also, I see a lot of artists do Commission Streams, but I've never done one before. Is there any kind of protocol for that? What kind of websites do you use to stream? What works best for you?
